In this YouTube short, Harry Pitts opens with a heartfelt prayer asking God to soften parents' hearts and guide them in grace-filled parenting. He then frames love as the ultimate superpower for raising Generation Z, emphasizing that unconditional, Christ‑like love—rooted in empathy and resilience—is essential. Pitts contrasts this deep, grace‑filled love with the shallow, conditional love prevalent on social media, where affection is tied to likes, comments, and performance. He warns that such superficial love can negatively shape children who lack the maturity to navigate it. Throughout, he urges parents to model Christ’s love in everyday moments, offering practical, faith‑based guidance for nurturing their children.

This unconditional love that gives resilience built through empathy. A love that models Christ in everyday moments with practical tools to help along the way. I want to offer up a prayer to Father. Heavenly Father, thank you for these precious young lives and for every adult who loves them. So often our hearts today, so often our hearts are filled with heaviness because we wonder if we made or said the right things to our children. But Father, I want to say this to every father, every parent: soften our hearts. Help us hear one another, feel loved and important, and walk forward in your grace as grace-filled parenting leads and guides us. Speak, speak to us through your word. And I pray this prayer in Jesus' name. That was not my message. That was just the introduction. Amen. So let's begin where every good journey starts, with the heart. Love is our ultimate superpower. Love, someone say love is our ultimate superpower. Love is our ultimate superpower. Point number 1, we've got to, as grace-filled parents, we have to embrace the unconditional love as our superpower. At the heart of fathering Gen Z is love. The Bible says love covers a multitude of sins. Not the shallow kind of love we see online, not the shallow type of love that our children see online where it's conditional based off of what you give me, based off of if you give me a thumbs up, if you give me a like. That's right. Based off of the comments that are spoken. This is this shallow type of love that our children face every single day of their lives. This love that competes for your attention as well. This love that competes for the attention of your children. But the danger in this is that the children don't have the same maturity that you have. That's right. And this type of love, this shallow type of love, is transformative, but in a negative way.
