In this short, sermon‑style message, the speaker invokes the biblical phrase “greater is he that is in you” to illustrate that material achievements—titles, platforms, wealth, possessions—function like a cistern that can only hold so much. He explains that the persistent longing people feel is not sinful but evidence of a hollow, divinely‑designed space in the heart that only the inner “fountain” of spiritual fulfillment can satisfy. The talk emphasizes that the goal is not deprivation or abandoning desire, but turning on that inner fountain to meet the deeper need that material things cannot fill.

Chapters

The scripture says, greater is he that is in you. Listen to this message. Keeps pouring perpetually. And some of you have already run this experiment quietly and privately. You got the relationship, the title, the body, the platform, the number in the account, the car, the house, the dog, the jewelry. And you're sitting here right now listening, wondering, not because it didn't work for you a season ago, but because you know Somewhere underneath the facade, everything it didn't finish in your life. It didn't finish the job. It couldn't. It was never going to, beloved. That's not a sign something's wrong with you, by the way. That's the cistern doing exactly what it— what cisterns do. Because the truth is, turn the fountain on. The fountain, the fountain. Because here's where I want to land this message today, because this isn't a sermon about deprivation. It's not stop wanting things. That's not what I'm talking about. Remember, the longing itself isn't the sin. The longing is evidence. Evidence of what? Evidence that you were built with a hollow place that has a shape to it, a shape that nothing else fits. Nothing else fits this shape that is in your heart. You felt that hollow place your whole life.
