Okay, breaking news here, guys. Anthropic, the company that built Claude, has just announced that they are looking to hire 1,000 AI implementation specialists over the next 2 years. So if you're just beginning your career, or if you're looking for a career change into AI, what better way to start off than being trained by the company that actually built this stuff? So in this video, I'm going to break down exactly how this new internship program works, what you need to do in order to apply, and what the deadline is. Okay, so now let's get into it. So let's talk about what this program is. So this is part of Anthropic's philanthropical arm. So this is their way of giving back, and they will be funding your salary. But this is also a joint venture between 3 companies: Anthropic, CodePath, and Social Finance. So essentially, Anthropic will pay you to work for a nonprofit organization identified by social finance. So this could include food banks, public health, housing organizations, like nonprofits that really need to AI-ify their process, become more efficient, but they just don't have the skills or the budget to do so. So Anthropic will pay you to go into these organizations and help them out for an entire year. You will start off this entire program by being trained by the Anthropic team themselves for an entire week, and every single week after that, they will have additional training, additional workshops shops to help you stay up to date. Okay, so I think it's an amazing opportunity, first of all, and they will pay you— did I mention $85,000 per year with full medical, full 401 matching? But here's a few caveats. So they're kind of looking for people with less than 2 years of experience in this particular field. They don't need you to have any coding experience. They don't need you to have any degrees in order to apply. So Basically anyone can apply for this position. What they are really looking for is do you have the critical thinking skills to look at a business process, to think about how this would work and then find an AI solution to make things more efficient, right? That is a key skill nowadays because now we can use AI tools to code and basically do any manual process here for us. All right, so now that we covered what this program is about, let's talk about who can apply, okay? So you have to be 18 years or older. You have to be a U.S. citizen or a U.S. green card holder, so you have to like be legally able to work in the U.S. Unfortunately, this program is not expanded beyond the U.S. at this moment, and you will be paid biweekly. This is an in-person position, so you will have to relocate, and they are willing to pay you some fees for relocation as well. So you will be physically going into that nonprofit organization every single day, Monday to Friday, for this. Position. All right, so now let's talk about the interview process and what you need to do. So firstly, when we look at the job application right here, it's pretty standard in terms of what you need to apply for a job. You fill in all your biographical information, you attach your CV, and as you scroll down, there are 2 questions that they are looking for you to answer, and this is like really where you differentiate yourself, right? The first question is, tell us about something you've done that made a real difference for the community that you are a part of. What was the problem? What did you do? And what drove you to put your time into it? So they're really looking for people who want to do social good, which is a big part of this program, right? And then the second question here is, tell us about a time when something went wrong, a mistake, a setback, or a plan that didn't work out, and what you learned from it. Focus on what changed. How do you think or work differently now because of that experience? You have less than 350 words to answer both of these questions. Now, of course, I think it's easy to just, you know, copy and paste this into ChatGPT and have it spit out an answer for you, but hey, you're applying to Claude right here, okay? So an AI-generated answer will just not cut it. So to approach both of these questions, I have put in some prompts to help you get started. So this is really like a human-in-the-loop process if you want to think about it that way, okay? So you can use AI to help you think and refine your answers better, but I wouldn't just use AI to generate a generic answer here and expect, uh, Anthropic not to notice and hire you. All right, so here's the 3 prompts that I have for you. I'm applying to Claude Corps, a fellowship that places people in nonprofits to build AI tools. The essay question is the question that I just read to you, and then you ask Claude to interview you one question at a time to dig up your best stories. Ask about my community, my family, my neighborhood, school, work, online, faith, hobbies, moments I stepped up without being asked, and anything with measurable results. So instead of asking AI to answer this question for you in a one-shot prompt, you're digging up your best stories with measurable results that make you stand out and not sound like everything everyone else, because nowadays everyone have access to these AI tools. So the way that you really stand out is using it in different ways than everyone else is using them. Because I guarantee you, probably 90% of the people who are applying are just copy and pasting these questions into ChatGPT, getting a generic answer, and then sending off their application, which means they probably won't get a reply. Okay, all right, so here's the second prompt that you can use. All right, so to follow up after you put in your first prompt, you can put in the second prompt, and it is Same application. The second question is the question that I just read to you about how you handled the setback. Okay? And then you will ask AI to interview you one question at a time to find a real failure where you were genuinely at fault, then help you identify what concretely changed afterwards— a new habit, system, or way of working. Push back if the lesson is vague. Remember, you only have 350 words to make an impression here, so make every single word count. All right, now here is the third prompt that you can use to help you with these 2 questions. Here's my draft answering. Paste the question here. Grade it from 1 to 10 against these criteria. 1, does it follow the problem, my specific actions, results, motivation framework? And 2, Is there at least one concrete number or detail? 3, does it show rather than declare? Like, I'm passionate about blah blah blah, which is, you know, snooze. And then 4, for the setback essay, is at least 60% of the word count about what changed after? Lastly, does it sound human and not AI? And if these criteria are not matched, please rewrite it. Give me specific line level feedback, then I will revise it myself. Okay, so instead of getting AI to just like generate you some generic, uh, answers to these 2 questions, using these 3 prompts, you will stand out because it will be customized to your experiences, and you'll be working with AI to get the right, the highest quality responses instead of just something generic that you copy and paste, which is actually what Anthropic is really looking for. It's like, how do you marry the best of artificial intelligence with human intelligence to get the best response? Like, that's what this program is all about, right? Okay. So after that, Claude also requires you to complete 2 mandatory courses, and they are not hard, guys. You can get this done within a day or 2. So let me show you what these 2 courses are. The first one is their AI fluency course. So this is on frameworks and foundations. You can enroll here. You can see it's free. You just sign up. With your name and email. And of course, they will be able to see whether you completed these courses or not. Okay. And then the second course here is Claude 101. Again, you can register for free. And it just teaches you how to get started with Claude, you know, what's a project, how do you use Claude for different use cases, etc. Alright, so this is really the table stakes, the minimum requirements in order to apply for this position. But if you really want to stand out, then you also want to include a link here to something that you have built in any context, okay, but I would recommend probably something for social good, something that you did for a charity or a nonprofit in your community, okay. Okay, so and here is a very simple example of an idea of a project that you can include along with your application. So right now I'm on Google Forms, and here is the prompt that I put in. I want to create a free Google Forms titled Food Bank Donation Form with a name, email, amount, and why I gave fields, okay. So within a few seconds, actually, because Google Form now has AI built behind it, we can get this form created within seconds here, right? And then once we're happy with this form, and then the next step would be we could link this via Zapier to Claude so that whenever someone fills out this form, they will get a customized response. Really simple idea, will only take you a few hours to build out, and it's something that will make you stand out because many people would not take this extra step to create an additional project to attach to their application. All right, so that was the application process, and if you successfully made it past this, then you will get into the interview process, and there are 3 parts to this. Okay, so the first part is a take-home project. So this is where Anthropic will give you a nonprofit business problem, and they will ask you like, how will you approach this? How will you prompt this? What tools will you use? How will you solve this problem? Right? And the result, while it's important, it's— they're also looking at your thought process on like what were the steps that you took to get to the answer that you finally like achieved that. Because this is not a technical position and you are not coding, they're really looking for someone with a business acumen who has the logical thinking skills to successfully think through a problem and arrive at a solution that will help these nonprofit organizations, okay? And so what they're really looking for is how do you prompt? Do you know how to connect the tools properly? Do you have a deep understanding of all of the tools in the Anthropic ecosystem, right? Like Skills, Cowork, Artifacts, and so forth, right? And so the way that you can differentiate yourself is not just showing the output like I was explaining, but also showing how you got to the output, what your thought process was every single step of the way. And you're not just like putting in the question into Claude and then getting a generic answer back and copy and pasting that, but there's actually a human in the loop where you're thinking through it and you're using AI to come up with the best solution. So it's your intelligence being married to the artificial intelligence that you're using to approach any business problems. That's what they're really looking for. All right, okay, so after your take-home assignment, there are 2 more rounds of interview. The first round is a 25 to 30 minute interview to see how well do you communicate, are you personable, and are your motivations in the right place. So do you want to be in this program to actually do some social good for your community. Here's a list of questions that they, they could ask you during this round of interview. Of course, you can use Claude and other AI tools to brainstorm more interview questions that you can prepare for before your actual interview. All right, so they could ask you things like, walk me through how you use AI in your daily life right now. Tell me about something you taught yourself recently. How did you do that? So what they're really trying to see here is, are you self-motivated? Can you figure things out? And can you actually solve problems on your own? Okay. All right. So after you ace the first round of interview, the second round of interview is where they will go deeper. And it's 2 one-on-one interviews that you will have with different people in Anthropic and CodePath, right? Okay. So here are some examples of questions that you could be asked during your second round of interviews. A program director is worried AI will replace her team. And won't cooperate with you. What do you do? All right, so this is really looking at how do you manage change management, because in a lot of organizations there is a lot of fear around AI, and Anthropic wants to see if you can manage those complex organizational interpersonal relationships, right? Okay, next question could be, Claude gives you an answer that looks right, but you're not sure. Walk me through what will you do? Okay, this is another great question because AI does hallucinate and they want to see that you're not just going to copy and paste a generic response from AI, but you're actually thinking through the problem, which is what they're really looking for. Because we can automate all of the, you know, putting in a prompt and getting out a response. But what, what sets you apart is that you will not sacrifice quality and you will actually look through the responses and make sure that they are good before any customer or prospect ever looks at it, right? Okay, next question. You arrive at your host organization, no one is technical, and your sponsor is slammed. What does your first 30 days look like? Another great question here, right? Assessing what you would do in difficult situations. So again, like, as you can see from this position, it's really a skill set where you can communicate and be able to work with different people in order to successfully implement AI tools, and that is what they're really looking for. They're not looking for someone technical, they're looking for someone who can manage those relationships in that organization to actually bring about change and help them adopt AI. Okay, another example of question could be, explain the project that you built to me like I'm a 70-year-old board member. All right, so this question really tests your communication skill and see if you can dumb down really complex topics like AI and explain it to someone who is not technical at all. All right, so you really have to see the question behind these questions. Like this question right here is really testing your communication skills. Basically, they're looking for someone who's personable and can bring about change in these nonprofit organizations. That's really the heart of what they're trying to get at, and once you keep that big picture in mind, it will really help when you're approaching these interview questions. Now, if you do get get through the second round of interviews, and then you will be invited to interview with a host of nonprofit organizations because it's really a two-way street. They have to like you and you have to like them. And then when there is a nonprofit organization that's like, yep, I want you, then you will be matched up with that nonprofit organization for the next year. The first cohort is going to start this October, but the application deadline will be in July. Now before we wrap up this video, there is just a couple things that I also want to mention. Now, one thing that we're noticing is that the whole job application landscape is completely changing. Employers, they don't care about degrees and credentials as much anymore. They want to see if you have the right personality and if you have the critical thinking skills to solve problems. Now, that is much more important to them than some degree or piece of paper on a wall. Now, having a resume is no longer a way to stand out because now we can literally use AI to generate a resume within like 2 seconds, right? So you really gotta bring something more to your applications, like actually completing a project. It's showing the potential employer that you're thinking through their problems and you're thinking through how AI can actually help them. I mean, regardless if you get this position or not, uh, if you even do the take-home assignment, it will help you think through how to use AI in real business cases. And I think there's a lot of value to that as well. I do admire Anthropic in being in the forefront of hiring and HR as well, because they're completely reimagining how HR will work in 2026 and beyond by not caring about the things that employers are typically looking for in a resume. And plus, once you complete this program, you will be one of 1,000 people who can say you've been directly trained by the Anthropic team themselves. Hey, like, that's gonna open doors, okay? So the application deadline for the first cohort is going to end about 10 days from when I post this video, so make sure you apply. By the way, this video is not sponsored. I just think this is a great opportunity here. I also do have a free course teaching you how to build these AI workflows, thinking through business problems, looking at the existing process, and looking at the new process where we AI-ify everything, and building AI employees for different businesses. So if you do want to learn more, sure you check out my free course below as well. And if you got any value out of this video, please like and subscribe, and I'll see you soon. Bye for now.
