#255 - How to Add $100K with This Double Funnel System

Hey. Hey, guys, it is Kate here from hello Funnels, and welcome back to the Doing It Online podcast. Today we're talking about something really exciting, and that is the exact hundred K funnel that you can go and add to your business that is going to change absolutely everything for you. If not by the end of this year, it's going to make next year completely new, different. So let's talk about it. Okay, so first of all, there are three big issues that I've been noticing this year. I've been seeing people talk about them, people creating funny memes about them. But there's three things that are really going on right now that most course creators are really struggling to solve, and they're causing big impacts on your, your sales revenue, on your engagement, on all of those things. And that all adds up. And that could be. And for a lot of people, I'd put my money where my mouth is and say that it is the reason why this last 12 months has been so difficult for so many. So the first thing, the first issue is that the world now has a form of an attention disorder. I'm not saying that everyone has adhd. I'm just saying that our attention as human beings out in the world is becoming disordered. It's becoming, you know, very, very difficult to get people's attention because there is so much going on. Not only is there more content than ever in more different form and more different platforms, then there's also more stress than ever. Like, come on, let's be real. This has been a lot pretty much since 2020. Every year has just gotten a little bit harder for most people. And that is all compounding. So you've got people who are stressed out, which makes it hard to focus anyway because all they can really focus on is whatever the most painful thing is in front of them. Plus they're getting bombarded at a record rate. So it means that it's really, really hard to get people to pay attention to you and your brand and your offers for long enough that they can actually take in all of that good stuff that you're telling them and actually be able to notice your offers and go oh, hang on, that probably is a good offer for me, that might be a good solution for me and then be able to make that decision. They're just not able to do that. Everything, it's all too much. And any non essential decisions are really getting put on the later. Which means probably never pile. Okay, so what this means for you and your business is first of all that trying to get any cut through, trying to get any growth particularly organically is really hard and it's really slow. Unless you're one of the 000001% who goes viral and you know, hopefully it goes viral on a post that actually has something to do with your business. Not that one time you had a rant about Airbnb. Then most people are find even more than usual is a long, hard, unrewarding slog. Then add on top of that with paid. Yes, you have more control over it if you at the point your business that you have the budget to do it, but when you do, most people are saying hey, it's more expensive and people aren't converting like they used to. Like maybe you used to be able to spend $100 and make a sale and now you're having to spend closer to like 500, 607 or higher. And suddenly that, you know what used to be a method or a tactic that made sense no longer does the math, doesn't math anymore. So that's issue number one. Issue number two is the world is also in a trust recession. So this is kind of compounds and adds on top. What this means is on top of them being stressed, on top of them being, you know, more scattered than a squirrel with whatever they're paying attention to is that people have been burned. You know, we had this massive influx particularly where everyone jumped on and went hey, I read a book about this topic once, I can sell a $5,000 program on it. And there was sadly this massive influx of people coming out saying they were experts who just weren't and they would in it. They were trying to find a way to make a quick buck. They weren't actually concerned with actually solving their clients problems, with actually helping their clients get a good result. And so what happened is people bought a lot of these programs and went hang on, I've just spent all this money and I am no better off now layer in that extra layer of AI. I love AI. I think AI has made so Many things in business, so much easier. But again, there's a lot of people out there going, oh, I see a get rich quick scheme here. I'm going to jump on and get AI to pump out again, some total BS based on some really generic stuff that I've read before. I'm going to turn it into a program because somebody, again, who probably has questionable ethics said that I could and try and make myself a millionaire even though I know nothing about this topic. And so now you have even more crap for people to really have to sift through. So people are skeptical, very skeptical. And, you know, and you're competing with a lot of big, potentially fake promises. So again, people are just finding it hard to be like, who do I trust now? Can I trust any, anybody? And I found it like so many people, particularly, like, you've probably noticed maybe in your DMs or in any conversations you're having with someone considering buying your program, there is the kind of questions they're asking. It's like someone's coming to you who's just been cheated on by an ex boyfriend. They're like, why should I trust you? Why are you any different? They're bringing all their baggage and that's tough, right? And then add on top of that that, you know, the economy is not in the healthiest of places, that a lot of people are finding just the general making ends meet of, you know, running a household quite difficult. So they're going to again, be more cautious with how they're spending their dollars. That's not such a free for all. Like it was back during COVID a lot of people had like grant money and stuff like that stimulus money floating around. So what does all this mean? Well, as well as it now being harder to get them to pay attention to you, it is also those people who are paying ATT attention, they are taking longer to buy or needing more like dollars in the trust piggy bank before they feel like they are able to make that decision. Before they feel like, yep, okay. You know, like it. It used to be you'd see an ad and go, this person sounds good. I'm sure they're great. Now people see an ad and they go, I'm sure this person's actually terrible and they're trying to rip me off. Maybe I'll hang around and see if they can prove me wrong. Like, that's kind of the mentality shift we're now dealing with and it has a big impact. Okay, Problem number three that I'm seeing is that most people the strategies that they are using to actually structure their business, their offers, their marketing, they're actually not focused on profit. And you know, fair enough too. At the moment, most people are just paddling frantically under the water just to try and keep themselves afloat. Profit is this far away, mystical idea that hopefully happens one day when the world writes itself. But that's really no way to run a business, particularly not long term. Yes, there's always phases of business where that's probably the reality, but we don't want that to be a permanent long running phase because otherwise, let's be honest, you don't have the business that is giving you the support and the life that you wanted. The reason you probably started that business, what you have is, is probably just a really demanding, badly paid, very stressful job that you don't get holidays or sick leave from. So these are the three dynamics in play that I think are having a massive and devastating impact on a lot of people in our industry. And these are good people, talented people, people who are coming in with the right intentions and really want to help people and have something of value to give and to share. But unfortunately these things are, you know, they're not discriminatory, they're not just impacting and affecting the people who are not necessarily coming in with such good intentions. They affect everyone right across the board. So what can we do about them? Well, funnily enough, being I'm from a company called hello Funnels and I personally am obsessed with funnels. The answer to all of these problems is in my opinion, and this is from testing it myself, testing it, happening with clients is a funnel. But not just any funnel. There's a very specific funnel that you need here. And this funnel, which I have been tweaking and testing and refining and perfecting like obsessively for the last six months, is a funnel that I call the Sales Squared system. I love an alliteration. It was always going to be that, okay, so what this is, it's a strategic double stack funnel that both focuses on solving. Well, basically it solves all of these problems. Okay, so it's going to allow you to grow your list, to grow your following. It's going to allow you to build trust to make you stand out, make people see that you are someone who is an expert, who can be trusted. It's going to put lots and lots of dollars in that trust piggy bank for people ready for when you then make them the offer. And then on top of that, it's going to allow you to Sell your offers to convert them at a higher than launch rate and to do it round the clock 24 7, 365 whether you're launching or not. And here's the kicker, here's the real like star on top of the Christmas tree. It is going to do it so that at the end of the day you have profit in the bank. Okay, does that sound good? Do you want to know how to do this funnel? Wonderful. Let me break it down to you. So there are three pieces to this funnel that really make it work. So first of all is that you choose the right offer suite. So that is a collection of offers and I'm not saying it's a large collection. Like we're probably looking at 2 to 3 offers here chosen strategically. You're going to have a entry point offer and that is an offer that is funnily enough the entry point into your world. And that's something that can be promoted in our first funnel. And the purpose of that offer is to attract your ideal client to give them a quick win when they purchase. So it's an easy yes in the first place. And when they're in, they get a quick win and it leaves them wanting more. It makes them go, oh wow, I was able to take this step. It was easier, it was better, it was faster than I thought it could be. I'm so impressed with this and now I can see the other steps ahead of me. And do you know what? I trust this person to help me with them. Okay. The other goal of this offer is that the sales from this offer are going to be reinvested back into your marketing budget so that it's going to allow you to speed up your front end funnel. I call this a content engine and be able to grow faster and faster and to do it in a way that's going to allow you to literally add hundreds of people a week to your email list. And it doesn't technically cost you a cent because that funnel is, use geeky terms, self liquidating. But that funnel is going to through the sales of that entry point offer that are being reinvested, they cover the cost of that marketing. Okay? And I'm not just talking about any like I'm sure you guys have heard about low ticket offers and low ticket funnels. And thing is that just like every other type of old school tactic around right now have been tweaked, they've been adjusted, they're doing what was working five years ago for most people does not work right now. I've had people Come to me going, I had this funnel, it was running and used to convert at 3%, now it's down to 1% and it's just not viable anymore. And we help them to make these tweaks and now it's converting at 5 to 6%, same offer, but we just showed them how to re strategize and restructure the funnel for what works right now. So you've got your office suite. Your office suite is designed as to have an entry point offer and also to have a signature or a core offer or that thing that you're really want to be known for. And that offer is structured to be something that when people buy it with the price point and all the other bits and pieces that this is going to be where your profit comes from. Okay, so that's your office suite. And once you've got that sorted then we can start talking funnels. So as I mentioned, the sales Squared system is a two funnel stack. One funnel on its own right now is very, very hard to get to solve both of these problems. The problems of, hey, I need to bring a lot of people onto my list and I need that cost to covered because I don't want to be spending, you know, thousands of dollars out of my bottom line list building every month if I don't know I'm going to get it back. And I also need to be able to make profit off it. Some people, like some unicorns out there can do this with one funnel. Most people aren't unicorns, otherwise you probably wouldn't be watching this video. So I'd say 99% of us, we're not unicorns. So we need to update our strategy and that means that right now you need two funnels. But the good news is these funnels are not difficult to set up. Your content engine funnel, most of the time we help people set these up, but you're looking at three to seven days tops. Like the seven day people, they're the ones who have got like 25 children and five different businesses and they're doing it on their phone in the spare five minutes that they have a day. Okay. Whereas you know, most other people, you could get it set up really in an afternoon. Like that's how long it takes me when I set up hours. So you've got your content engine. As I said, that is a updated version of a front end funnel. It's not your standard front end funnel and it is designed to bring in leads at a super high volume and not just any leads. We don't want to fill your list with crap. We want to bring in people who have that intention, who are potentially your ideal dream client. Because otherwise, what's the point? We're not about vanity metrics here. Okay? So the final piece of the puzzle is, is adding in a profit engine. This is a second funnel. So this, you got your first content engine here is running, it is rolling, it is driving in hundreds of people every week, is converting a percentage of those people to your entry point, offer those people having an amazing experience and are very excited to come and work with you further. But even the ones who don't, that doesn't mean they're not going to come through and convert later on. And this is what the profit engine is designed for. This profit engine is, is one that takes a bit more setting up average time against probably about four weeks. And that's not four weeks of spending your whole life doing this, but it's four weeks of, you know, some intentional effort, okay? And some prioritization. We're business owners here, we're grown ups. We understand what this looks like and what this does. Again, it's an updated version. My personal favorite is still a webinar, but webinars done the way that you need to do them in 2025, not the way you used to be able to do them in 2021. So it's a webinar funnel for your signature program. So it's really, it works beautifully for anything between like $200 and again depending on your niche, even up to $3,000. Like that's the bracket. And you set this up so that it is capturing everyone coming in from your front end funnel. It's further warming them up, it's further taking them on those steps through the pre buyer journey. It's then making them the perfect offer at the perfect time and it is to convert at well above industry standards. And every single one of those sales, every single dollar from those sales is profit. And you know what? You don't have to do anything. You don't have to be out there launching every month if you don't want to, or every three months if you don't want to. Yes, I would recommend that you probably still do that. But just imagine how different things could be if you had these two systems in place, feeding into each other, growing your list, adding sales every month, all on autopilot. And then of course those hundreds, if not thousands of people then go through to your main list. And then every time you run a promotion, you've got more and more eyeballs because that's one of the problem people are finding is I said you're just not getting eyeballs on your offers because it's too hard to get those eyeballs because their attention is elsewhere. These eyeballs have been warmed up. They love you. They are now die hard fans. And so everything else you do beyond that is also going to convert better. And in case you're going like this all just sounds, well, too good to be true. It's absolutely not. This. I've been obsessing over this since, well, I mean, obsessing over funnels really for almost last 10 years. But this particular structure, it's what we've been helping our clients with. It's what the clients who we have and we reached out to clients about four months ago, particularly some of our longer running clients, just to check in and be like, hey, how's everything going? The ones who are still thriving right now and there are still businesses thriving right now, not everyone is suffering. Guys, they have this in place. All right? They have both of these pieces in place and they are having best months ever. So that is the secret, guys. That is what you need to be able to build. So take a deep breath going, oh, that feels like a lot because like I said, first funnel can absolutely be done in a couple of days and then that runs right, and that's bringing people in. And then you just spend the next couple of weeks setting up the next funnel. Like maybe if you have a launch, you push it back by a few weeks, you set this up instead and then you have these two foundational pillars of your business that are going to make it so much stronger. And then from this, like, even if you're starting with a small list, this is how you grow. Like we've had clients who are setting this up who they still haven't set up the second piece yet because they're having so much fun just with the first piece. But they've gone from having less than 500 people on their email list and now they've got over 5,000 in a couple of months and they're making sales every day. Like this is what this funnel does.
