Do you wait until January and hope for the best? No. Today I'm giving you five simple, low lift cash campaigns you can run right now to close out the year strong. Whether you're trying to hit your revenue goal, fill your January launch, or just create some momentum heading into the new year. So let's go. Alrighty. Hi, everybody. Welcome back to the Doing It Online podcast. I'm your host, Kate McGivern from HelloFunnels co. And today we're talking about how to make the most of December. Here's the thing about December, it's unpredictable. Some businesses thrive in December. Others go completely silent. It really depends on your niche, your audience, and how seasonal your offer is. But either way, December is busy, people are distracted, inboxes are full, everyone's trying to get noticed, and everyone still wants to make sales. And for a lot of you, December also comes with this added pressure, right? You're looking at your year end goals and you're realizing you're not going to hit them. So what do you do? Well, you've got two options. You can throw your hands up and say, look, I'll start fresh in January. Screw 2025. Or you can use the next few weeks strategically to create some wins, make some sales, and set yourself up for a killer start to the new year. That's what today's episode is all about. I'm giving you five cash campaigns that you can go and implement starting today. All designed to be simple, to be low lift, to be uncomplicated, to be easy, to create and run, and super effective because December is already chaotic and you don't have time for anything complicated, right? So, so pick the one that fits your business and go make some sales. All right, option number one is run a paid workshop. Now, this is one of my favorites because it's fast, it's simple, and it works. You can absolutely do this the quick and dirty way. You don't need anything fancy, you don't need a funnel, you don't need any fancy tech. As long as you've got access to Zoom, that's pretty much it. You just need a few emails and a checkout page. Not even a sales page. Okay, so here's how it works. You come up with a killer idea for a small, focused workshop that solves a specific problem. Your audience is, you know, aware of and trying to solve right now something that feels doable given the time of year, but still really desirable. And here's the key. This isn't just about making money in December, although it's always a bonus. This is also if you do it right and choose the right topic. This is also going to be a warmup for whatever your big push is going to be in January. Because, let's be real, most of you have got a big launch or a big offer coming. January, February. Right, because people are setting New Year's resolutions. They've got energy after the holidays. January is a great time to be selling your biggest and most transformational programs. So let's use December to warm them up. I saw a brilliant example of this recently from a friend of mine, Ellie Swift. She's an amazing business coach who specializes in masterminds. She ran a paid workshop in December with the promise of getting five new clients before Christmas. And it's genius, right? It's specific, it's timely, it's desirable, and it feels totally doable. That's the mix you're looking for. You nail the promise. Everything else is easy. So think about what is a small solution you could offer right now that's relevant. December. Something that you can jump on to a zoom call and riff about easily for 30 to 45 minutes. Something that gets people a quick win and primes them for your bigger offer in January. Send out a few emails, set up a checkout page, run the workshop, and you're done. All right? Campaign number two is early. An early access outreach. Try and say that 10 times fast to a really warm segment of your list. So this one again is for people who are already planning their big launch or big offer in January or Feb. Here's what you do. You're going to go and you identify your warmest people as the warmest people for whatever this next offer is going to be. So look at your email subscribers who've been opening, clicking, engaging, maybe if you're using tagging or segmenting already, go and find like, who are the people most likely to be excited about your next offer? Look at your past customers. Look at the people who've already raised their hand in some way through email or through dms. And now you're going to make a list of them and then you're going to reach out to them individually with an early access offer. But, and this is important, you need to create a why now? Reason. You need to give them a reason why they should be jumping in early or putting down a deposit now to for something that doesn't start till next year instead of just waiting and joining with everyone else in the new year, maybe your program has limited spots and this by jumping in early makes sure that they get one of those spots. Or maybe the people who join early get access now to community or to a call or even to resources and so they can make sure that they hit the ground running in the new year. Maybe they get first dibs on one on one call time slots so they can again make sure they're sorted and they know exactly what they're doing in when it comes to 2026, maybe there's a special VIP discount. Whatever it is, figure out something that's in it for them. They always need something to be in it for them. And then reach out, send them an email, send them a dm, have a couple of conversations. This is a light touch, high impact way to pre fill your January launch. You're creating momentum, you're securing cash flow, you're building excitement, all before your doors officially even open. And that is always a more enjoyable way to be running your launches anyway. All right, campaign number three is re engage your previous clients. Now this one works particularly well if you do any kind of one on one work consulting or any kind of high touch service. So here's the idea. You're going to reach out to your previous best clients, the ones that you loved working with, the ones who got great results, and you're going to drop them an email or a DM and say, hey, let's chat about how I can help you hit your goals in the new year. I actually got an email like this recently from one of my previous coaches and I thought it was brilliant. It felt personal even though I'm sure it was sent to a whole bunch of people. She basically said, I've put together one really juicy offer for the new year for a limited number of people, but if that doesn't work for you, let me know what you need and we can make something work. It was simple, it was personal, it was effective. You could even do this with a personal loom if you want, particularly if the number you're reaching out to isn't huge and you want to make it feel extra special. But honestly, a well written email, a couple of DMS work just fine. The key here is it's way easier to get a previous client to work with you again than it is to find a brand new client, especially if they had a good experience that first time. So go and make the ask. Alright, campaign number four is specifically for anyone who runs a membership or community. This one's so simple and it works like a charm. Here's what you do. You go to your current members and maybe even your recent previous and past members and you actually run a special limited time only offer where they can sign up for a lifetime membership. That means for the lifetime of your program, they never have to pay again. They pay once, they pay up front and they're in forever. You'd be surprised how many people jump on this because a lot of people hate monthly payments. But if they're already getting value from your membership, why wouldn't they want to pay once and be done if they can afford to? So here's how you price it. It's usually somewhere between one and a half years to two years worth of membership fees, but all paid upfront. So if your membership is $50 a month, you charge between, you know, 900 to 1000 or 1200 kind of for lifetime access. Two important things to note here. Make sure that you have every intention of continuing this program for at least a few more years. Do not offer lifetime access if you're planning to shut it down in six months time. That's not very ethical. Number two is make it very clear in the wording that this is the lifetime of the program, not the lifetime of the member. If the program goes away, so does their but if you've got a solid membership and you plan on running it for long haul, this is an easy way to bring in a big chunk of cash in December. Alright, final campaign is to test a funnel on your existing list. This one's for people who are thinking look, none of these really fit my business, but I really want next year to look different. So here's the idea. Use December to test out a campaign you can then turn into a funnel in the new year. So right now ads are expensive, right? It's competitive, it's loud. But your email list, your existing audience, that's your warmest audience. So pick the offer that you want to make your main sales engine in new year and figure out what is the best way to be able to sell it on autopilot. So are you building a content engine which is a low ticket email sequence that helps you grow your list and cover your ad costs, or are you building a profit engine which is potentially a webinar that sells a mid ticket offer? Whatever it is, create the campaign, run at your existing list before the end of the year. Test the emails, test the messaging, make sure it converts and then in January when ad costs drop and people are back to being ready to buy. You can plug in ads and have a funnel that is already proven to work. You're not starting from scratch. You're hitting the ground running. All right, so there you have it. Five fresh cash campaigns you can go and start. Like, hit pause. Now you can grab yourself an AI, write a few emails. Are you ready to go? So pick the one that fits your business, pick the one that feels most doable, and go for it. Because the next few weeks matter. And the businesses that are going to start 2026 strong are the ones who are taking action right now.
