#296 - The Silent Selling System Behind Five-Figure Days
11 May 2026 · 13 min
Kate McKibbin breaks down the Silent Selling System, a three-engine framework for coaches and course creators to hit four- and five-figure daily revenue without constant launches. The Audience Engine uses paid ads to drive leads through a gateway offer, the Profit Engine converts those leads into clients, and the Momentum Engine re-engages the rest monthly. She shares metrics: $800 daily ad spend generating 2-3x return, with baseline monthly revenue of $60-100k.

You know what? My first ever job out of university, I was paid $16,000 for the year. That's Australian. And I remember thinking that was so much money, like pinching myself, I've made it, I'm a grownup now kind of money. The other day we made more than that in a single day. Not from a webinar, not from a big live elaborate launch, all through a system that was quietly running in the background while I got on with my actual life. And it wasn't a one-off. Five-figure days are getting more and more common around here. We're growing at a rapid pace right now. Things are coming together and we're scaling. And it's not just us, it's our clients too. But I still see so many coaches and course creators out there grinding, launching, watching their revenue go up and down like a roller coaster. And it genuinely frustrates me. Because I've been doing this long enough to know what actually works, and I'm not here to gatekeep. And that's exactly what today's episode is all about. Hey, hey there, I am Kate McKibbin from hellofunnels.co, and welcome to the Doing It Online podcast. Today I'm walking you through what I call the Silent Selling System. This is the exact 3-engine framework behind consistent 4 and 5-figure days, a rock-solid revenue baseline, and a business that makes sales even when you are absolutely not working. I'm going to break down all 3 engines you need, what each one does, and how they stack together, and why most people are missing at least one, if not all 3 of them. Alrighty guys, let's dive right on in. Okay, so the Silent Selling System is made up of 3 revenue engines. Each engine has its own completely different job, and each one is designed to run whether you're working or not. I built them one by one in a specific order, and that order matters enormously. This is actually one of the most common mistakes I see. People have something doing some or one of these functions, but not all 3. Or they do have all three, but they're not systemized, they're not reliable, they're not stacked correctly, they're not consistent. Here's what happens when you don't have all three engines in the right place. One, you just don't grow. Two, you end up doing everything yourself anyway, working incredibly hard and still going nowhere. Neither of those are acceptable anymore. So let me break down each one for you. Engine number 1 is the audience engine. And this is always where I recommend people start. Inside Funnel Club, this is the very first thing we help you to build. We've broken it down into a quick start format, and most people have it done and running within 7 days. Here's what the audience engine does. Its one job is to get you, your brand, your business in front of new people every single day. Not just a couple of people, a lot of people, hundreds, if not thousands, and not just before a launch, not just when you've got the energy for it, and definitely not just if you happen to go viral. Every single day. Now, a lot of people here get in front of new people every day and they think, okay, I'll just post more content. I'm gonna be really direct with you here because I care about your results and I don't want you wasting your time. Relying on organic content alone to grow your business is gambling. I don't care how good your content is, how many frameworks you follow, you have no control over when it lands, who sees it, or whether it keeps working. Building a real business on something you have zero control over is not a smart strategy. The Audience Engine is built on paid advertising, but not the way most people run ads. Most people want to set a $5 budget and hope for the best. This is not the goal. The goal is to get to a point where you're spending $500 a day, even $1,000 a day, and you're not even breaking a sweat because the Audience Engine is specifically designed to pay for itself. So it's not actually costing you anything. In fact, it'll be making you money, making you sales daily. Here's how it works. You run ads to a strategically designed gateway offer. This is a specific strategic entry point offer. That gateway offer makes you immediate sales. These sales pay for your ads. Those ads bring in more people. Those people make even more sales and it grows and compounds like a snowball. Right now we're spending about $800 a day on ads and we're making 6 figures a month. Our ads are regularly getting a return of 2 to 3 times directly from the gateway offer alone. And that doesn't even include the downstream revenue from people who then go on to join our higher level programs. I also wanna be clear, we are running these ads in-house. It's me and my team, no big agency, no massive team, just a well-built system doing its job. This is a piece that changes everything. When you have an audience engine running, you can do what most of your competitors simply cannot. You can get in front of thousands of new people every day. You can be adding hundreds of those people to your list every week. And this is what fixes the launching to the same people every time problem I see so many people having. If your launches are getting harder and harder, if your audience feels tired, if conversions are dropping every time you sell, it is usually because you've been marketing the same thing to the same people over and over again. And to be honest, they're bored of it. The audience engine fixes that at the root. You are consistently bringing in fresh, new, qualified leads every day without you having to do a thing once it's set up. That is engine number one. Engine number two is your profit engine. And this is the one most people think they already have, but they don't, at least not properly. Here's what the Profit Engine actually does. It is a fully automated strategic sales sequence. Its job is to take those new people flowing into your world from the Audience Engine and convert the hottest, most ready to buy ones into clients of your signature offers. This is happening 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, behind the scenes, silently, while you sleep, while you're on holidays, while you're getting a coffee. The profit engine is engaging new leads, building trust, making them a compelling offer, and converting them into dream clients who are an absolute pleasure to work with. And none of it requires you lifting a finger. Now, most people look at what I've just described and think, that's a pretty simple funnel. I'll just run ads to it. And so they do. And then they wonder why they're not making money. Here's why. When you run ads directly to a profit engine, most people just break even. Some even make a loss because by the time you've covered the ads cost, the funnel, the tech, the offers, the ads team, your margins are incredibly slim. You cannot scale from break even. You cannot build a real rock solid, reliable business from break even. This is why most people who try funnels decide funnels don't work. It's not the funnels that didn't work. It's that a profit engine on its own is not a full system. It's just one piece. And when you stack the profit engine behind the audience engine, everything changes because the people coming through your profit engine have already been paid for by the audience engine. The cost of getting them in the door is already covered. So every sale your profit engine makes, is now pure profit, and that is why it's called the Profit Engine. Running it alone, I'd honestly call it the Break Even Engine or maybe the Sadness Engine, but stacked with Engine Number 1, it becomes the thing that takes you from sustainable to genuinely scalable. Now, before I tell you about the third engine, I need to talk to you about something because this is a very predictable mistake that happens at this People get their audience engine running, they get their profit engine running, and they think, great, I'm done. I'll just automate everything from now on and never ever launch again. And I understand that impulse completely because launching is exhausting and frankly it sucks. I call it the launch cycle of doom. And I mean every word of that. It is not a roller coaster. It is a never-ending loop you cannot get off of. To run a launch that actually works in this market, takes everything you have, every waking hour of prep, weeks of strategic content, strategic selling, strategic positioning. You pour your entire brain and soul and heart into it, and then it probably still underdelivers. You don't hit your goals. Then you get a week or two to breathe, and then you're straight back into prep mode for the next one, over and over and over. And you can't stop because the launches are keeping the lights on. So yes, I completely understand not wanting to do that anymore, but here's what people miss when they go all in on automation. When someone comes through your funnel, your profit engine converts the hottest leads, the ones who are ready, the ones who say yes immediately. We call those buy now buyers. But what about the other 95 to 90% of people? The ones who came in, liked what they saw, stayed on your list, but weren't quite ready yet. They're now just sitting there. And if you're relying on automation, those people are most likely never going to get another real opportunity to buy. They'll just keep getting your regular content until they either unsubscribe or buy someone else's offer. That is a massive amount of money walking out the door. The Momentum Engine is how you capture it, a specific strategic mini promotion that you can run every single month. Every month you take your list through a process of engaging them, exciting them, and then making them a strategic timely offer. Every month your list gets a genuine opportunity to raise their hand and say yes. And here is what makes this completely different from a big massive launch. Each of these monthly campaigns takes maybe an afternoon to plan, write, set up, done. We use AI tools, proven campaign structures, and built-in conversion psychology that I have spent years refining. You can have a fully mapped, high-converting mini promotion ready to go in hours, not the month of prep a launch takes, not the week of recovery after, just a strategic monthly campaign that becomes your rhythm, your reliable, predictable monthly cash injection. For most people, this monthly campaign more than replaces what a quarterly launch used to bring in, but without the burnout, without the chaos, without handing over your entire life to it for weeks at a time. And inside Funnel Club, this is also how we handle the transition period for people who are building their system from scratch, because I hear the fear. If I stop launching long enough to build my funnels, even for just 3 to 4 weeks, I'm gonna lose revenue, I'm gonna get behind. So at every stage of the build, we give you a micro launch to run alongside it. As you're putting each engine together, we run a strategic promotion simultaneously. It's all baked in, so you're not working harder, you're working smarter, and you're making sales at the same time. Most people make more in that 4 to 6 week build period than they would have from a full-on launch. And by the end of it, they now have all 3 engines up and running as a foundations of their business. So the Silent Selling System, it's 3 engines, 3 distinct jobs, 1 system making you sales every single day. You've got the audience engine that gets you in front of new people every day on autopilot and funds itself. You've got the profit engine that converts those new people into clients of your signature programs 24/7 without you lifting a finger, and the Momentum Engine, which makes sure the rest of your list keeps getting opportunities to say yes every single month without a full-on launch schedule. Stack all 3 together and you have a business that doesn't depend on you showing up, launching, grinding, or going viral. In the last 5 years, I've not had a single month under $60,000 to $100,000. That's our baseline. And we're growing faster than ever right now. This is what a system does. This is what I want for you too. So if you want help getting all 3 of these engines built, tested, and running in your business, that's exactly what we do inside Funnel Club.
