A recruitment newcomer named Lewis will likely bill £14,000 in month one, then watch nothing happen for eight weeks. A calls it moths flying around your name on the money board. It gets better, but the valley is real.

If you don't mind, I'll frame it as in a sense of like what I'd tell old Lewis. Yeah, let's do that. Yeah, let's do that. So first and foremost, you're going to bill £14K in your first month. You're not sick at recruitment, right? You haven't worked it out. You're not some sort of recruitment prodigy. You're going to go the next 8 weeks and you're going to bill fuck all. You're going to bill fuck all. There's going to be moths flying around your name on the money board and all that sort of thing. But don't worry, it's all going to work out all right in the end.
