A recruiter explains how his organization uses events like roundtables, webinars, and networking sessions to build credibility and generate business. A recent in-person event led directly to recruitment conversations with attending clients.
A lot of our stuff at the moment especially is events led to go and loop them back to that subject matter expertise bit. We held an event this Tuesday and the amount of clients that I've been trying and trying and trying, you get them in a room and actually they can see that you host something good and there's some good credibility behind it. And then without any prompting, they come up to you and say, I know you've been speaking to us, actually now might be a good time to talk about recruitment. We've seen really good success from event-led things, whether it's roundtables, webinars, started a podcast series actually, so that'll be coming out soon. But these in-person networking events, definitely.
