What a top biller mindset looks like

Top billers don't chase big deals. They execute the same daily habits every single day, build sticky client relationships over years, and let revenue follow. Consistency beats luck.

The billings on the board and the achievements that you get is just a byproduct of the non-negotiables that you hit every single day that you know if you hit them you've had a good and bad week. Some weeks you'll hit them and you won't get the revenue on the board. Some weeks you'll hit them and you get double the revenue on the board. And the top billers that I've worked with in the past, 9 times out of 10 they have that mindset. It's like, oh, well done on that 50K deal last week, mate. It's like, yeah, yeah, yeah, whatever. They just head down and just thinking, as you mentioned, just getting on with the next thing and getting all the non-negotiable, talking about the market. All of the top billers I've spoken to have just got unbelievable client relationships that they've built on time and time again, and they're just so sticky and integrated into these clients over time that it's just like easy to them. And I imagine new consultants come in like, oh well, he's got that account, so it's a little bit easier for him. But that person's just spent the last probably 4 or 5 years developing that account to what it is now. So that again, I think, is, is obviously a big factor.
