I think a lot of founders that I speak to that maybe are struggling to grow and they say that they want to grow, they may not actually feel that way because they like deep down being at the top of the leaderboard.

Like, that's just the truth of it.
I think you've just got to leave your ego at the front door sometimes and be like, you know that you could do that and you could be at the top. Who's that going to benefit? Yes, it's going to benefit the business, but you work for— they don't feel inspired by that. I'd rather lift them up and have one of the team members she's smashing it one month, or he's doing super great, cheering them on, then it's just constantly me on top of the leaderboard.
