Hi everyone, I'm Christine Meyer, Associate Coach for Hope Edelman's Motherless Mothers Support Circle. It's a weekly, 6-week-long virtual group of women who get it. In 2005, I became a mom for the first time. I was so excited not only to have my first child, but also because I imagined that I was going to have a new and profound connection with my mom. However, when I had my baby, I did not in fact have that feeling. Instead, I felt more disconnected, more lonely, and more isolated. I also knew no one else who had that shared experience of loss. Who is mothering children. And so that those first years were a long journey until 2014, when I was asked, after several conversations with other motherless women, to start facilitating workshops specifically for motherless mothers. And within that community, I was able to experience so much healing, so much sisterhood, that truly it changed my life. And I know the lives of the women that I have been in community with. So I am thrilled to be facilitating this upcoming workshop in collaboration with Hope Edelman beginning on October 6th. We're half full, so please register soon. And I cannot wait to see you on a Zoom screen soon.
Bye.
