Accessing The Kingdom - Hope Carpenter

Hope Carpenter teaches that God's kingdom comes through a culture of honor. She uses stories of Esther, Daniel, and Joseph to show how honoring people despite their flaws lets God work through them. The key: buy the whole field, meaning accept people as they are.

Welcome, everybody. Let me know where you are joining from all over the world. Let us know. Type it in that chat box. Whether you're here on Facebook Live, if You are on YouTube, however you're joining us tonight. Thank you. I'm Hope Carpenter, this is Hope Carpenter Ministries. And I got a word for you tonight. You know what? I'm going to talk about accessing the kingdom of God. How do we do it? How do we get heaven here on earth? Or is that even possible? We live in a sin sick world, right? I mean, there's a lot of junk going on. There's division. There's a lot of turmoil going on. There's hurting people everywhere. There's people who are hungry. You know, there's people who sick man. Is it even possible to access the kingdom of God? Is it possible to live the life that God, that God had prepared for us here on earth? I believe it is. I really do. I don't believe that it's without work because nothing that you that's worth anything comes easy. So I'm going to read you some scriptures tonight. I'm going to start in Mark 6. So get your Bible, get your e device. However you read the word of God, you say, well, I'm not even a Christian. I don't even know what this is. Just listen. Call somebody, tell them to sit tight, sit down, get you a cup of coffee. I'm going to talk to you for a few minutes about accessing the kingdom. So Mark 6:1 6. Jesus left there and went to his hometown accompanied by his disciples. When the Sabbath came, he began to teach in the synagogue. And many who heard him were amazed. Where did this man get these things? They asked. What's the wisdom that has been given to him? What, what are these remarkable miracles he's performing? Isn't this the carpenter? Isn't this Mary's son and the brother of James, Joseph, Judas and Simon? Aren't his sisters here with us? Listen. And they took offense at him. Jesus said to them, a prophet is without honor except in his own town, among his relatives and in his own home. He could not do any miracles there. Listen. He could not do any miracles there except lay his hands on a few sick people and heal them. He was amazed at their lack of faith. Wow. This is Jesus we're talking about. And if you know anything about Jesus, if you've read the Bible at all, he healed everybody. Everywhere he went, miracles were happening. He didn't care if it was the Sabbath or not. He stirred up all these crazy religious demons. He went all over, teaching, doing miracles. But in his hometown, the people were offended. They did not believe. So he could not do any mighty work there. Go to Matthew 13:44. The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again. And then in his joy, went out and sold all he had and bought that field. Treasure hidden in a field. So to get the treasure, the scripture saying that he goes out and he buys the whole field, the whole field, in order just to get the treasure. Now, listen, in America, we do not understand kingdom dynamics because we live in a democracy, right? We all get a vote. So we all want to vote. We all want to say so. We all want to give our opinion. But in a kingdom, whatever a king says, and when he says something, it's law. Come on, somebody. Do you understand what I'm saying? Kingdom is very different than democracy. So how do we function in God's kingdom if we're unfamiliar with kingdom protocols? The kingdom of Heaven, it's not a place. It's not some place you have to drive to or get to or when we die, we're going to see it. No, the kingdom of heaven is not a place. But it's an extension of God's rule in the Earth. Adam was made in the likeness of God. Okay? And Eden was a reflection of heaven. So in Eden, whatever Adam called it is what it was. He had rule, he had dominion. Okay? Whatever you call will be, that's what kingdom is. It's supposed to be an extension of heaven into the earth. So however heaven operates, that's how the kingdom here on Earth is supposed to operate. Christ rules in dominion, whatever he says it is. And God had created Eden to be a reflection of Earth. Well, sin came, sin blew that. So the last Adam, Jesus, has to come to restore what the first Adam lost. Now, we're heirs, and we're joint heirs. And we're told that we are ambassadors here on Earth. And we have the power to speak to mountains, Scripture says, and they'll move. So what is the kingdom of heaven? It's God's extension of heaven into the Earth. The kingdom of heaven is getting heaven to operate on Earth as it does in heaven. In our lives, in our home, in our marriages, in our jobs. Can somebody say Amen? That is what we need. We need the kingdom of heaven here on Earth. Okay? How many of you could use a little more heaven in your life? God wants heaven in your home. So what brings the kingdom of heaven here on Earth? Are you ready? It's called the culture of honor. The culture of honor is what brings heaven into the earth. In America today, the worldwide is infested with a culture of disrespect. Ain't nobody going to tell me what to do or do you as long as you just do you. Don't worry about anybody else. Only God can judge me. Listen. And with the attitude of dishonor, you will never see the miraculous. You will never see being able to speak to mountains. And they move. You cannot access what you will not honor. You need to write that down. You need to tweet that. You cannot access what you refuse to honor and respect. Jesus couldn't do any mighty works in his hometown. Why? Because to them, he was just the carpenter's son, Joseph's boy. We watched him play and grow up. Scripture says they were offended by him. So their offense, because they did not honor the anointing on his life, he could not do miracles. They could not access the miracles, not because his healing power in that city didn't work, but because they couldn't access what they refused to honor. How many miracles have passed you by because you didn't like the vessel the miracle was coming through? Whoa. I can only access what's in you by honoring you. God shows up. God doesn't walk around with us. God doesn't, you know, come sit down and open up a table, a chair right here and now. God, you come sit right here. God shows up in vessels. God shows up in people. We are his ambassadors here on Earth. He's not coming out of the clouds and glowing in light bulbs. No, he comes through people. And people get on our nerves, right? People are imperfect. They get on your nerves. Honor will make you do things your flesh does not want to do. Let me stop you there. Listen, a policeman. They're going to pull you over if you're speeding, right? Just because you don't like how they look doesn't mean that you don't have to do what they're asking you to do. You obey because you honor their position. You honor that badge. And honor makes you do things that your flesh just does not want to do. Listen, Esther was a Hebrew, and she soaked in oil. She had to soak in oil one year. Now, wait a minute. Now, I don't mind. I don't think I'd mind that no matter what culture I'm in. She had to soak in oil one year. That was the protocol. To be in the king's presence for just one moment. That wasn't her culture. But she had to do something different to operate in that culture. It's a kingdom culture. Daniel had to listen for three years before he had one conversation with the king Joseph, a Hebrew. He had favor with the pharaoh in Egypt and Egyptians had no facial hair. They didn't believe in that. So Joseph had to shave his beard to honor Egyptian culture. That was. Listen. Proof of honor is your ability to adapt. And if you aren't flexible. Woo. I'm preaching right here. Proof of honor is your ability to adapt. Adaptation. You will have to go places and do things that you are not used to doing or even what you want to do to operate in the culture of honor, to bring the kingdom of heaven into your life so that the kingdom of heaven can be manifested in your home. The kingdom of Heaven, what is it? It's righteous joy and peace in the Holy Ghost. How many of you listening to me right now need some righteousness, some peace, and some joy in the Holy Ghost in your house? Then you probably need to evaluate your ability to adapt and to love people and get the treasure out of people. But you have to buy the whole field. You got to get their junk, you got to get their issues, you got to get their habits. Listen, there's a big difference in my husband Ron and Pastor Ron. Two different roles, two different people. But if you approach him only as Ron and not Pastor Ron, the human Ron is all you'll be able to access. If you let his hairstyle or his choice of belts or his choice of shoes turn you off, it's going to be like Jesus in his own hometown. You will not be able to access the anointing on Ron's life. It's the same way with everybody. Jesus in his hometown was only recognized as Joseph's boy, and guess what? That's all they got. If you refuse to recognize him as the son of God, you get no miracles. Matthew 13. This is what the kingdom is like. It's a treasure hidden in the field. What's the field? It's the dirt. It's the yucky stuff. It's the stuff you don't want. And God hides greatness in dirty things. Whoo. God hides greatness in dirty things. He will require you to operate in honor and honor them anyway so that the kingdom will be able to come into your life. If you can't handle the dirt and the imperfections, the way they talk or the car they drive, you'll never be able to access the anointing. And I want the kingdom of heaven to invade my life. What about you? I want to be able to buy the whole field and be able to embrace all the junk and the dirt so that I can get that one precious thing out of somebody's life. Did not say this was easy. Nope, it's not. It's not easy. But it is a sign of maturity that you want the anointing and you want the kingdom in your life more than you want an opinion more than you want to say so. Whoo. 2nd Corinthians 5:16 says, Therefore, from now on. Ooh, this is so good. Ooh, this is good. You better write this scripture down. 2nd Corinthians 5:16. Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know him thus no longer got to read it again. Therefore, say therefore from now on. Say, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. What does that mean? How they look, how they talk, how they act, their habits, their shortcomings, their sin, their issues. We regard no one according to the flesh. Man, it's difficult. It's difficult. Did not say it was easy. So, Lord, teach us. Teach us. God, give us the grace. Give us the understanding that to get the kingdom, God, we got to do it your way. Lord, teach us how to honor our neighbor, our pastor, our friend, our co worker. Honor is the key to accessing the kingdom of God in our lives. Don't you want the kingdom? Don't you want righteousness, peace, joy? The Holy Ghost invading your home? I want every gift that's on the inside of every person that God sends my way to be able to be activated. And for that to happen, I can't look at your junk and be turned off. I can't judge you and be turned off and not be able to access the kingdom that's on the inside. I want the extension of heaven. I want the wake. Heaven operates where there's no lack, there's no sickness, there's no disease. Listen. There's peace, joy, and the Holy Ghost, and I want it in my life. And one of the keys to getting the kingdom of God in the earth and into my life is my ability to be able to honor the people that God sends my way. And I want that for you. It's not somebody else's responsibility. It's our responsibility. So this is our prayer tonight. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. And God, teach me the culture of honor, the culture of the kingdom, so that I will be able to access the kingdom of God in my life in Jesus name if that's your prayer type in the chat box Let your kingdom come God let your kingdom come in my life and this week make it a practice of buying the whole field to get the treasure. Make it a practice of when they when they do something to aggravate you when, when you don't like what they have on or how they parade around do it on purpose, honor them on purpose, love them on purpose and watch God's kingdom invade your life. I love you.
