Dr. Janice Sjostrand | Ashes for Beauty | Untangled Conference 2023

This is a live sermon/worship session by Dr. Janice (Janice Sjostrand) recorded at the Untangled Conference 2023. The talk interleaves sung declarations and praise (e.g., “I plead the blood”, “Anointing fall on me”) with pastoral exhortation: repentance for hidden sin and ‘weight’ (burdens), daily spiritual discipline, personal testimony (caregiving for her grandmother Lucy), and a committal ritual inviting attendees to bring their ‘ashes’ (guilt/shame/weight) to the altar for an exchange of “beauty for ashes.”

And he said, fear not, because I.
Know who you are. I created you. I have redeemed you.
That means I brought you back from whatever pit you crawled out of. I am the one who valued you enough to hang on Calvary. When I hung there, I saw you.
And you and you and you.
And it is a miracle that my DNA has all of these strands reaching back into time. It's no accident I was created in the image and likeness to bring glory to the name of Jesus in this body, in this form, in this time, in these circumstances. Lift your hands. Fear not. Well, praise the Lord. Church, how are y' all doing?
Just remain standing. They're working on this mic thing here. And if I can just get one of you to come up. Do I have my drums back here? Y' all ready to go? And is the praise team ready to come out here and just sing Sha Na Na Na? This is how I do church. Everybody's just gotta be on point. It's called Be instant. In season, out of season. I have a song in my heart I cannot get off my mind because I feel like we're probably all in the same boat trying to do our best. I know you are. And look at your beautiful selves here on a Saturday. And I have a plane to catch. And whatever I do, I have to do quickly. And so I don't know if you know this song, but if the praise team is in the house, anywhere. And I know y' all can figure out three part harmony without practice. You probably practice so much.
Much. Oh, yeah. Everything I learned to do I learned in church I did my party in.
Church.
I did my disco in church I got down in church.
I got joy in my soul Soul God is in control I got Satan on my trail But I'm singing all is well.
He'S attacking every day But I'm watching.
While I pray no matter the attack.
I won't turn back this means war this means war this means war this means war Now I need a hanky.
Y' all have a hanky out there?
Anybody got a Kleenex?
Got your hand. All right, here we go. We're gonna pop it right here like.
This, and we're gonna sing. Yeah. I plead I plead the blood I plead I plead the blood I plead the I plead I plead the I plead I plead the blood Again. Hey, hey I plead, I plead the blood I plead I plead the blood I plead I plead the blood I plead, I plead the blood this means 1, this means 1, 2, 3 1, 2 this means war hey, this means war Here we go, here we go, here we go I've been in the storm and the rain but the blood still stays the same Whatever's going wrong My war clothes are on yes, sir I might be in a daze but.
You can't have my praise no matter.
The attack I won't turn back Hit me. This means war this means war what does it mean? Tell me this means war oh, yeah, yeah, yeah this means war all right, here we go. One, two, three. And I plead, I plead the blood I plead, I plead the blood I plead the. I plead, I plead the blood. Hey. I say I plead I plead the blood. One more time. I plead, I plead the blood of the blood of Jesus I plead, I plead the blood I plead the blood I plead, I plead the blood I plead the blood. I plead, I plead the blood.
Listen here.
You can't have my family. You can't have my family. You can't have my increase. You can't have my increase. You can't have my breakthrough. You can't have my breakthrough. You can't have my. You can't have my. You can't have. I can't have my family. You can't have my family. You can't have my increase. You can't have my increase. You can't have my breakthrough. You can't have my breakthrough. You can't have my. Wait a minute. You know, I have Native American, and.
I just found out I'm 1% Nigerian.
So let me tell. Tell you what my people do before we go to war. We crank it up. I want you to get your praise on. This is how we overcome through the blood. Get your praise on. Yeah. One more time.
You can.
You can have my heaven. You can have my increase. You can't have my breakthrough right now. You can't have my. You can't have my. You can't. I plead, I plead the blood. I plead, I plead the blood. In the name of Jesus. I plead, I plead the blood. I. I believe. What does this mean? This means war. This means what last time. This means yeah. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. I plead in the blood I plead the blood. When I don't know what to say When I don't know what to pray I plead the blood. Hallelujah. When my accuser brings me in before the judge and he points out my transgressions and my iniquities and he knows I'm guilty Jesus said when he asks you how do you please what can wash away My sin. Nothing but the blood. Nothing but the blood. Hey, what's going to make me whole again? I don't have anything to please.
I'm.
Out of my league But I have an advocate.
And my advocate told me Janice, when gloom and sadness whisper you've said no use to pray Just look.
Away to me, Jesus, and I'll teach you to say I plead the blood. Hallelujah. Lift your hands right now. Lord, we worship before your throne. There's nobody like you in all the earth. You're holy and worthy and righteous, and we thank you for everything you've done.
Your gifts given so freely. You may be seated, Pastor. How Apostle Cynthia, Beloved friends and family gathered here together, those of you that have remained through this conference who have already been touched, I can't add to anything that's already been said. And everything that I was going to say has been said, except I want to tell you what to do with your weight and your sin. Typically in the Bible, when there is a list, the last thing on the list is most important. And in Hebrews 12:1, as your pastor Hope has already said and Apostle Cynthia has already said, therefore, seeing we are compassed about by so great a cloud of witnesses, all the people before us, the generation before now, Daniel may not mean anything to you, neither Paul nor Peter, nor Silas, nor John, but you surely have people that you knew and loved who have walked this way before you. And they've gone on. They fought a good fight, they finished their course and they kept the faith. And now you've been left to run your own race. And while I'm saying that, let me say this. It always looks better to watch someone else run theirs than to run your own. Jesus never promised that he would conquer sin through you. By you watching vicariously living through somebody else's testimony, you're going to have to get up and face your own life head on. But I came to tell you you have a friend that sticks closer than a brother. His name is Jesus.
He's holy and righteous and good and.
Gracious, and he knows you by name and has already counted the hair on your head. Lift your hands again and let's love him. You are worthy, Jesus. This cloud, he said, I want you to do this. I want you to lay aside the weight and the sin which easily besets. And he didn't say you, he said, us. Every day we have to get up with the same mind that was in Christ who said, it's not going to be robbery to be equal to God. I'm not Jesus. But Jesus is walking in my shoes. He's trying to bring me into a alignment with him in my life. I was sharing with dear sister Florence Taylor in the room during lunch. When I was a child growing up in church. I grew up in a very fiery Pentecostal church where we were taught to seek the will of God. To seek and to search for it and then to go after it. And I used to think that it must be out there somewhere, never realizing that the will of God was for me to live my precious little life with him every day. That wherever my feet were, he wanted me to wrap them in peace and bring peace to my position. And it was a lot easier to watch someone else conquer than for me to go through the steps of conquest. And I can remember. And I shared this with Jaslyn, praying and saying, God, I'm overwhelmed by my life. I don't even know where to begin. I don't know how to start. I don't know what I'm doing. I'm overwhelmed by the challenges. Just a young minister's wife just starting out, full of passion, not a lot of common sense. Didn't know how things worked. Just knew how to do church. Sing and shout and dance and weep, and didn't know how to bring all that to all this. And in my desperation, because I didn't know enough scriptures to find it, I closed my eyes and put my Bible together. And I said, lord, please speak to me. Let the pages fall open. I don't know where you would talk to me. I don't have enough scriptures. I'm only 19. Help me. And in that church, up against the wall in the choir loft, I put that Bible together and it fell open. And with my eyes closed, I put my finger right here. Psalms 32. I will teach thee and instruct thee in the way thou shalt go. I will guide thee with mine eye. I started weeping and bawling and squalling and probably talking in tongues because he heard me and he answered me. And I was 19 then. I don't want to be 19 again. I don't want to be 25 again. Okay? I don't even want to be 50 again. I fought mighty hard to get to 65, and I'll stay right here and own it. I'll own it. I'll own it. I'm owning the old songs and the way I grew up. I'm owning the friends that have gone on before. I'm owning the perspective I was born in. I'm owning the limitations and the afflictions because he told me that he was going to gift me all of them. Because I'm more than a conqueror through him that loved me. I don't have to leave the circumstance, I have to overcome it. So how in the world do I do that and run my race? That means the set of responsibilities that face me Monday through Saturday. How in this world do I bring Jesus to my life and peace to my feet? And when he said, lay away, lay aside weight and sin. Now what is sin? It's the stuff that grieves the heart of God. That's done in secret with the idea that if I can hide it, it won't matter. And it's not the damage that it does to other people, although it surely does. But it's the deception to my soul that I can continue things that won't affect me and everybody else in relationship with me. And long before it goes this way, it's already begun this way. You see, I need a God that can see me and see through me and still loves me, but gives me a chance to make it right. It won't change him if I make it right, but it will change me. So let's talk about that, the unrepentant sin, the hidden sin. And dear sister Apostle Cynthia quoted my scripture. Jesus said, who commits sin is the servant of it. I don't want to serve anybody. But what was his name? Was it Bob Dylan who said, you're going to serve somebody? Well, it might be the devil or it might be the Lord, but you're going to serve somebody. Could be your own appetite. I'm not preaching at anybody. I'm preaching to all of us. Whatever overcomes us, we become a slave too. And God didn't make a difference between weight and sin. He said either one of these will prevent you from conquering your race. Which is why we can't get up and give you a list of do's and don'ts. Because your afflictions and your weaknesses are just as unique to you as mine are to me. And I have to fight them every day again. I have to decide if I will escape into the easy way out or if I will grab hold of a nail scarred hand and he will help me to face my life with my eyes wide open till I walk my way through it and you say, well, I don't know how to walk through it. I can tell you that is why every day when you brush your teeth and you take your shower, there is a spiritual moment where you must bring your spiritual self into the presence of the Lord. And you need to stand unclothed without any of the accoutrements that give us status and significance in the eyes of man and say, lord, look at me. Judge me. You judge me. How'd I do today? What was it I said? And if you ask him honestly in a quiet and gentle voice, he will touch your heart about words that came out your mouth. And you know why you do it every day? Because you can't afford the weight of it. Two days in a row, three, four, five. It builds up. You've got to take that sin. You've got to take that unrepentant will. And you know what does me a world of good when I mess up? To fess up. And I have to do it all the time. Did I mention that we're homeschooling grandchildren? I cannot escape school.
School.
I graduated from high school and went back to college and got a degree that allowed me to go back and teach school. Every year that students from my classes graduated, I was filled with jealousy. I would like to graduate, but I just kept being sent back to teach more children to leave. It was depressing. And then when I left that career and I started a business on my own, Dr. Janice Schostrand motivational speaker and singer and I had a time of my life singing my favorite songs from the 70s and earlier.
Ain't no mountain high enough Ain't no violent low enough Ain't no river wide enough.
But I was really preaching to you. And they would pay me for the privilege of living scripture in front of them and never quoting the book. And then we moved and my husband started pastoring another church. And then my daughter got married. And then my daughter had children. And then it was, mama, I can't send that child into public school. That's when you want to start singing.
I plead, I plead.
Okay, that was six years ago. Now we got two of them. I have been in kindergarten. This is the fourth time I went through it with once and three times with children and grandchildren. I'm about to have enough of it. First grade, second grade, third grade, fourth grade, fifth grade, sixth grade. Now I'm teaching a middle schooler. Oh, God.
Hormones.
This is not the life that I saw in up for, but it's mine. And I read the back of the book. And he said to him that overcometh. He went to all seven of those churches and he lined them up and he said, I got a little issue here with you. You did real good. He's a great educator. This is what you did. Well, this is where you failed. Here's the consequence if you don't repent. I'm going to remove your light. Then he mentioned to the one to hem. All those words were to the corporate body. But then he got down to the hem, the one sitting in that church. I'm not responsible for the corporate identity of the churches where I pastor or attend. I'm just responsible for my race. Sometimes I feel just caught up and lost in the bigness of it all. And then I hear this voice cutting through to him that overcometh will I give a white stone and a new name. Okay, okay. So I'll haul myself to that altar. Jesus, forgive me. There's nothing like apologizing to an 11 year old baby. That was a little harsh. Will you forgive me? I love you, Jana. That's the one who said stupid Jana when I was trying to put her down for a nap.
Yeah.
Yes, that one. It's amazing to see yourself in so many iterations. Two daughters now, three grandchildren. Did I mention I have a 15 week old now? So now I'm Jana, the nana with the bapa sling. You know what I'm talking about. I cram that baby in that sling and stick a pacifier. We go do our business while her mama works and her daddy's trying to immigrate from Australia. Fine young man. Just doing it legally. I could say something about that right now, but I'm not. Because I have to repent if I don't.
Do.
You see? If I'm going to run my race now, it may not be as pretty as yours and my race. A lot of times I feel like I get off the and into the fairway. I feel like that my track. I decided that I didn't have to go this way. I found a shortcut. And you know what happens when I do shortcuts? That's that GPS that dumps me into the median and says, you have arrived. I had to turn around and go back and say, I plead the blood. Would you bow your heads and close your eyes? Lord, I don't want to be a liar in your presence. I cannot foul the water that I drink. There have to be some holy places in my life and this is one of them. I make full confession to you that I am just as fleshly as the day I was born. But I don't want to walk in that. I want the Holy Ghost to anoint me. Because I know that the anointing destroys the yoke and I cannot be filled with the Holy Ghost. Ghost, and full of sin. So whatever I have done and whatever these little ones have done, in the presence of the crucified Christ the Lamb, I'm asking you to forgive us. Hallelujah. What key are you in? I want you to put me in, Gary, with your hand on your heart. I want you to sing with me.
Anointing fall on me. Anointing fall on me. Let the power of the Holy Ghost fall on me. Anointing fall on me.
Sing it again.
Anointing.
Whatever I've done wrong, I want to lay it down. You heard about it all morning, now let's do it.
It's on me. One more time. Oh, wash me. Oh, let it flow. Let the power all. Let it flow. I love you, Lord, for your mercy never fails me.
I need it right now.
All my days I've been held in your hands.
I feel cleansing. I see a stream of blood.
The moment that I wake up, till I lay my head.
I will sing of the good goodness of God. Lord, forgive us.
I love your voice. You have led me through the fight. Wash me, Jesus, in darkest night you are close by. I've known you as a father. I've known you as a friend. And I have live in the goodness. Take all my sin. All my life. All my life you have been. And faith. All my life you have been so. I love you. I love you. With every breath that I am. I will sing all the goodness. I can feel it forgiving me. I'm gonna sing. Your goodness is running after. Oh, I can. With my life laid down. My life lay down. I surrender. I give you every everything. You're good now. It's running after. Oh, your goodness. Your goodness is.
Now with your eyes closed to him, not to me.
Sing all my life.
That's who's going to walk you through your life.
With every breath.
I will sing of the goodness. I will sing of the goodness of God. Let's lift our hands in love. You may be seated. My last point is I know what to do with sin. I had to learn what to do with weight. I didn't even know about weight. You have to live a little while to get weighted down to gain weight. But there is one personal example that resonates with me. I didn't know you'd have to repent over weight like you had to repent over sin. Until it began to affect my ability to connect with the God who fathered me. I loved her all my life. She's my grandma, Lucy. Funny, passionate, widowed, young, 57, never remarried. She was able to come to my wedding in nineteen nineteen seventy seven with my young, good looking bridegroom. I was so scared. The flowers were shaking. You'd have thought I was in front of a crowd of 10,000 very sweet. Lucy was there. My memories of Lucy are prayer meetings, hollering out the names of her kids on her knees and me slipping in the room next to her while grandma would weep and speak in tongues. That's exactly what I remember. And Lucy chose to stay with her daughter who left the Lord. And Lucy followed her everywhere. While mom and daddy and I and my brother we went to a new state and began our lives as adults. My parents became grandparents and so on and so forth. My brother and I grew up. And then we got a call from my family who was estranged from God. We can't take care of Lucy anymore and we just can't. So Daddy arranged for Lucy to come home to live with him. And it was a very difficult time. My parents were in their 70s at that time. And if you're caregiving, you know what that means. And she wasn't happy. And mama didn't know how to take care of Lucy. And the family really decided they didn't want to let her go. And it was a horrible tug of war. I would like to tell you that I represent a conflict free life. It is not true. In my deepest, darkest hours is when the Holy Ghost has been my dearest friend. Because there are times I haven't been able to speak English or to speak at all. Just to sit in my car sobbing, believing that when I don't know what to pray. The spirit in me is making intercessions with groanings that cannot be uttered. Just petrified and fearful. And when my eldest daughter had her first baby, which would have been 11 years ago, Lucy was in a nursing home. They wound up putting her in a publicly funded nursing home out in the middle of the desert when my daddy would have built her a home. I cannot tell you the grief. Grief. I can't even begin the anger. Why didn't you just leave her with us? You know, can you guess the narrative? I mean, you weren't capable then. You've left her now and oh Lord, just. And the pounding accusations in my ears. I don't know if they came from the devil. I know he's the accuser, but he certainly had a heart hold of me. I probably helped him think up a few extra things to say. And I said, sheena, you've got to come with me because Siobhan will never know Lucy. But I want a picture. So I flew to Los Angeles and rented a car and drove my then 6 month old granddaughter and her new mama after a long flight, stressful, crying baby, car seat in the car across the desert to find Lucy and walked into the nursing home after I got the both babies situated and found her room. Her clothes were just odds and ends of a lifetime ago when she went to church. A little sweater here, a little skirt there, and she had somebody else's afghan. And I just died. I just died. I just stood there and I left the room. I called my husband. I was weeping. Keith, she doesn't have anything. He said, you go get her everything she needs. Just go. JCPenney's out in the middle of Palm Springs had a sale. I kid you not. Lucy always liked skirts. Do you understand me? Always very ladylike, very prissy, very. So I fixed her church hair. I fixed Lucy's hair. I gave her church hair like I remember. And I brought back all the skirts that those Palm Desert folks weren't going to wear. I found them in velour and satin and I just. And Lucy admired. I had an orange purse. Oh, I love that purse. So I found an orange purse and I came back loaded up and then I got fresh sheets and. And my husband had made a calendar with all our names on it because she was very clever. She could work around the fact that she could not remember and no one ever tried to embarrass her. I just walked in and I said, see here, here's Kenneth, my daddy. See Mary, Margie, that's my mama. We just went through the whole thing. Oh, honey. Oh, this is wonderful. Wonderful. Had her Bible beside the bed and. Oh, Lord. And. Okay, Lucy, let's go down to the common area. I'm going to play the piano for you. What do you want to hear? Went through the whole thing. Thing. Played it, finished it. Lucy, what would you like to hear? I believe I'd like to hear I'll Fly Away Again. And then I remember the night that Sheena and I and the baby went by and I kissed her and I tucked her in bed and she said, oh, honey, I can't wait to see you tomorrow. And I couldn't tell her this is it. So I didn't. And I have a picture of Janice in the SUV with the baby in the car seat and Sheena back there with her and the moon behind me. Leaving that little woman with strangers. It's not right. Oh, God, I can't do it. I couldn't do that to a Puppy. How am I going to do that to my Lucy? And as I pulled away and drove the hour back to Los Angeles, I heard the Lord speak to me. Who do you think has been watching over her before? You know, I brought Kleenex, but not far enough. Thank you. You know I'm going to do this every time I get here. It's just that I didn't sign up for that. I'm baptized in the name of Jesus, filled with the Holy Ghost. I want to see signs and wonders and miracles. Don't make me go through this. Please send a revival to Africa. Let me be in the middle of that. But why the hell does this fit the model? Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief, wounded for our transgressions, the chastisement of our peace was upon him by his stripes. I went home and I began to grieve, to mourn. First day, I couldn't stop crying. Second day, I said to my husband, honey, I don't know. I have no place to put this grief. I feel guilty. I feel I ministered to all these people who are not my grandma, not my mama, not. What about my own?
What about my own?
He said, janice, you have a husband and you have children. You have grandchildren and a church. You cannot carry her. Wait. Is Lucy a wait? Yes. And it's keeping you from running. You can't. You're. You're bowed down with such grief. What about all the people we lost in Covid? Don't go. Don't you know? Have you not figured out who I am? You know what my jewelry is? All the people I meet, they're like pearls around my neck and my ankles. I'm covered in jewels. Precious, precious people. I'd take the world home with me if I could, but I can't. I have a race to run. Me and Jesus. A family of one. One church, one husband. And the Lord spoke to me. Find the scripture that says, I know in whom I have believed and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed into his care. I got on my knees and I said, lord, Lucy is not like a backpack of rocks to me. Lucy's precious. I can't just leave her just anywhere. I got to know somebody's going to watch. So I went through a little committal service. I can tell you where the room is, and I can tell you where I was kneeling in. And then I knelt down and said.
God.
I can't carry her. I worry what they're feeding her and what they're not and who Stole her clothes? How long she'll have her little orange purse? God, I can't go there. My mind is just. Who's going to comb her hair? Will they sing to her? Will someone read her Bible to her? I can't go there. Will her kids come see her if I don't go see her? Will anybody go see her? She going to be all alone. How is she going to die? Can you hear my mind? And when I knelt down in that room that day and I gave her. I put her in a treasure box and I said, you take her. A couple years later, I was ministering in Merced, California, one of the ugliest places on the face of the earth. It is dusty and dirty outside of San Francisco. It is the ugliest place between two of the most beautiful places you'll ever see, San Francisco and Yosemite National Park. And I took my youngest daughter, 25 years old. It was her birthday weekend. I said, you come with me. You come with me. And the host pastor wasn't going to have me speak till Sunday, and it was a Saturday. And I said, do you mind if I rent a car and take my daughter to Yosemite? It's been 40 years since I've been there. He said, absolutely, go. And I left that dusty, ugly town of Merced and began to climb to the mountain. And I rolled down the windows and I could hear the water rush rushing from the streams. I could smell the pine. And you see, what I had forgotten is the first time and the only time I went to Yosemite. I was three years old. And Mother and Daddy put me on a rock and took my picture. You know those little old black and white photos? The sun struck my hair. It looked blonde. And there I was. And I remembered that picture. And I started crying because my dad had called me that day, Jan. They had to take Lucy to the psych ward because she's become combative. And so they drove her and she's saying she's been kidnapped. And all the grief. Oh, God, please, please. And my brain did a strange thing. It just started playing back stuff from my childhood with Lucy. Prayer meetings and church services and songs. And I was just so overcome. And then I remember Janice on a rock. And I saw that little three year old girl as a mother would. And the tears began to roll. Because, you see, some things happen to me that I didn't anticipate as a little girl. And when I began to reflect on all of those things and the tears began to roll, the Lord said to me, I saw you on the rock and I made provision. I knew what was going to happen to you. There's blood for that. We had a wonderful time. I went back to church Sunday morning, and the Lord spoke to me and said, janice, everybody's going to need mercy. Mercy. Before you climb the mountain, you have to pass through a dirty, dry, dusty place called Merced, which means mercy in Spanish. You don't get it unless you need it. And you don't need it unless you're in trouble. My brother called me on a Sunday morning. That Sunday morning. Morning he had managed to make it to Los Angeles because his son was going to take a pre med test, one of many was going to take. And they were 45 minutes from her nursing home. He said, jan, you want to talk to Lucy? Oh, I'd love to. Hi, Lucy. Hello, hon. Last time I got to talk to.
Her.
You lost somebody. You can't live in grief. You lost a life. You cannot stop running because you're in the past. Lot's wife is here today, and I'm telling you, don't look back. One of the greatest acts of faith when you get unentangled is you don't turn around. Because if you're living in Psalms 23, only one thing can be pursuing you. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me, me all the days of my life. So I wrestled with this thought. I know what time it is. And precious Pastor Travis is waiting for me because he's going to usher me out of here and I'm going to run. He's looking at me. I can feel it. The Holy Ghost said to me this scripture. Beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. There are some precious people I know here. I won't call their names, but I know you suffered a great loss. I know, and I feel you. And I have. I can't wrap my mind around your loss. But we need a committal so service today. Now, I don't know where y' all are living in Greenville, but a lot of the Precious folks that. That I have said goodbye to and help Usher have not been able to afford the luxury of a big old funeral. And you know what they've been doing? They've been having a cremation. And then they take the ashes. Well, I didn't even think about that. But I'm going to tell you what you're going to have to do with your weight. You're going to have to bring it to the altar where there's fire. You're going to have to let the Holy Ghost consume the weight and the sin and then give you the exchange of beauty for your ashes. You can't haul that around in an urn. I'm not talking about your mama or your daddy. You do. I'm not. I'm talking about the memories, the moments. God wants to set you free from the guilt, the shame of either the weight or the sin. Would you bow your heads and close your eyes? Father, I have done what you told me to do. I have delivered your word. Our sins and our weights must come through the fire. We must bring the ashes there to your presence and let you exchange those ashes for beauty. I'm just going to invite you if you're ready for a committal service. And. And I know this sounds strange, but I don't care. I love you and you love me. So we'll just do what feels right. I'm following somebody else. And this is how we begin those services. The sun comes up, it's a new day. Dawn. If you want to do a committal, I want you to come to the front.
Whatever may pass.
Come on. Praise team. Whatever lies before me while you're worshiping, you're going to give him your weight.
Let me be. Singing with the name comes. Bless the Lord, O my soul. Give it to him. O my soul. Worship his holy name. Sing like never before O my soul I worship this holy name and your soul to rain.
