Ron + Hope: Unfiltered - Is Fear Demonic?

Transcript of a Ron and Hope Carpenter episode (YouTube video/podcast) discussing whether fear is demonic. They combine candid banter, biblical teaching, personal testimony (including Ron and Hope's own struggles and their son Chaz's anxiety/OCD), practical counsel (use Scripture, discern roots vs. symptoms), and sponsor reads. The overall message: paralyzing fear can have a demonic/spiriritual root but also can involve medical/biological factors; growth in God/the Word, prayer and occasionally medicine as a bridge can bring freedom.
Chapters
Hey, babe, guess what? You look cute.
Tell them who we are.
They know who we are. This is Ronin Hope. Unfiltered, real, raw, relevant. I love your jacket today a lot. If you're listening, you can't see it, but he looks like an 80s Eminem ish rapper.
He was in the 90s.
90S. He's got a little button down, like, little jacket.
It's a very hard drip.
Is it?
It is. It requires a lot of towels. Does it be around me at all times? Occasionally. A maintenance team.
Oh, my.
To clean up.
Goodness. A maintenance team. You're hilarious, Ron Carpenter. Well, if you are joining us for the very first time, this is what you're going to get. A lot of craziness at the beginning, not the whole podcast. We just kind of go back and forth at each other because we've been married 32 years and we can.
And we know each other pretty well by now.
That's right. But today we're going to tackle this very hard subject.
Today we've done this the last two we've been in a lot of times.
We jump into a lot of hard subjects. But this one, you know, we get a lot of questions and this one was, is fear a demon? Is fear demonic? So we are going to jump in the subject of all things fear today.
And like I've said times before, there's no way this podcast is not designed to be a Bible study. No, it's designed to be a revelation of our life kind of offstage in who we really are outside of our gift. But some of these things, Hope is the one that puts all these topics together. And the fact is, you can't bring up some of these topics and may not pull my Bible out here because I've got to approach it from a biblical perspective and point of view to give the proper answers. You can't get good answers with bad information. So the Bible is the source that we go to to find out these things. But, you know, we got a lot we could ask that question about a lot of things. Is depression a demon? Is mental illness a demon?
Is your mother in law a demon?
Well, that's a given. Yeah. Back at Max Out, I love Dave Martin's joke. That was one of the best.
And we gotta tell it right. I'm gonna tell it right now. He said last Christmas he gave his mother in law a funeral plot. He said it was the best one. It was the biggest one. It was amazing. Right in the perfect spot. Well, this past Christmas, he didn't get her anything. And she was so mad at him and she was like, dave, why didn't you get me anything for Christmas? He said, well, you didn't use what I got you last year.
So good.
He loves his mother in law.
Of course, I would never say that about mother in laws, but I just.
No, you wouldn't because you have a great one.
So anyway, moving right along. Moving right along. Don't want to stay there at all. We just want to move right along anyway.
Fear, we.
Well, it's all of it. It's all of it. And there's not an easy answer.
All the negative things, right. All the things that the Bible tells us that it's not supposed to be a part of our life as a believer. Bottom line, he says about fear, he says fear not.
There are times, period. Yep. There are times when it comes to anxiety, depression, fear mentally, and this is about fear. But I'm bringing in the broad scope that we're trying to divide. Where is this coming from? Because if you don't know the origin of a thing, it's very difficult to deal with it. And I don't know, baby doll, that there's a clear cut answer. I've been studying the Bible my whole life, but I can't take you to a chapter and verse that I know of to show you where the dividing line is. There are people that if they did a brain scan, they've had concussions, Right. And they're having problems and they're having problems mentally and they're having memory problems and they're fighting depression. There are people with chemical imbalances and when you scan things, you can tell they are deficient at this or they're deficient.
A vitamin deficient.
Exactly. Vitamin D. I don't want to be the Holy Ghost guy that says you need to cast that out in the name of Jesus.
But some things you do have to cast out.
There was one that the Bible said had epilepsy and Jesus cast a demon out.
Yep.
There's no way around it. Not trying to make anybody mad. Not trying to offend you if you've got a child that struggles with it. I'm just telling you as I read the Bible and it is hard to distinguish. Is this a result of natural things.
Yeah. Where the root is, or is this.
A result of spiritual things? I find it hard to believe that anybody who is seized, paralyzed by fear, that there's not demonic activity somewhere when.
It cripples your life, when you can't go outside, when you can't, you know, go to an event when you feel like you can't go into a public place because it just, you know, it just freaks you out and it just keeps you just bound up with fear. That is not God. He said that he came that we might have life and have it more abundantly. That's not abundant life.
I would probably give leash to the fact that there can be mental illnesses and there can be things that we struggle with mentally that are outside the realm of the demonic. But fear. Fear is the antithesis of everything God is. Fear is the antithesis of faith. Fear is the antithesis of love. Perfect love casts out all fear. The two cannot coexist in the same place. And so the broader scope of what you want to talk about today and really get into is fear. And I just got some scriptures that I'm going to throw out with this. The first thing I want to talk about is this. Listen to what Jesus said. I love it. Either make a tree good and its fruit good, or else make the tree bad and its fruit bad. For a tree is known by its fruit. A tree is known by. Every spirit has fruit, right? Every spirit. We know the fruit of the Holy Spirit. Galatians 5. Love, joy, peace, kindness, gentleness, long suffering, but faithfulness. Those are all fruits of that Holy Spirit. But the Holy Spirit is not the only spirit with fruit. And the Bible says that the way I know the root of a thing is the fruit is the fruit does not lie on the root, Right?
I mean, I know that's an apple tree, Right?
Exactly.
Because it's bearing apples. I know that's an orange tree because it has oranges.
I may not be able to look at the trunk or look at the limb, even the leaf, but I can see the fruit. But when I see the fruit, I'm not going to look at the red apples hanging there and say, you're not going to do it. Excuse me. Because the fruit is giving its origin and its source away. The Bible has several spirits that it calls out and distinguishes them by name. One of those is a spirit of fear, Right? Okay, excuse me. Now the more accurate word there. I know we don't like this because I like to say fear, but the Bible says the spirit of timidity. If you look at timidity. So the spirit of fear, what does it do? The spirit of fear intimidates. Timidity is the root word of intimidate. What is intimidation? You're so convinced you'll lose. You don't try.
Don't try. Ooh, that's good.
You're so why do opponents try to intimidate their other opponents?
Get in your head.
Because if I can convince you here that you're going to lose, you've lost before you've ever thrown the first punch, before you've ever thrown the first blow.
That line is something else.
You've already lost. And so we have not been given the spirit of fear that intimidates you and paralyzes you to not even fight because you're sure of a loss. Fear is sure of a loss. I'm not going to ask them out because I'm sure I will be turned down. I'm not going to try because I'm sure I'm lost.
I'm not going to apply for that job because I know I'm not good enough.
Yeah. I'm not going to try redeem and heal my marriage because I'm sure it can't be repaired. And so what happens? You never even try. And what tears my nerves up is when I'm talking to people and they won't even try. You know, there's a lot of people that I say, you know, will you just give God a chance? Because a lot of times you give God a chance, he'll work a miracle.
He always does.
But when I can't even get you to try, that's the spirit of timidity.
Yeah, but it's all. But the truth of it is, is a fear is a liar. Fear is a liar. You know the acronym for fear is false evidence. Evidence Appearing, appearing, real.
And there's some truth to that. I heard a lot of people not appearing, but there's a lot of truth to that because you're paralyzed by what is real to you. But what is real is not what's true.
That's so good.
There are things that are real. There are things that are facts, but that doesn't mean they're true. And the word of God is true. And the word of God will never pass away. So even if I'm facing things that are real. So the doctor gave you that report, and it's a fact. It's real. But the truth is you've been healed.
Yes.
And lesser authority always yields to greater authority. So facts are of a lesser authority than truth. So if I bring the truth into my situation, it has the power to change the facts.
Yeah. So God's word changes all of it. But you know, Ron, if you don't know the word, it all goes back to that. You cannot fight those feelings. Yeah. So, you know, let's just stop right There, take a little break, and let's go to our wonderful sponsor, Fabric. We love them so much. I think I told you guys a time or two ago that Ron and I had just had to renew our life insurance. And I told him to get lots and lots and lots of it for me. And I asked him, I said, what's mine going to be? It wasn't as much as his. I guess I'm not worth it, huh?
No. Cause I'll just keep working. I'll just keep working.
But Fabric. Listen, parents, this is for you. Parents, Parent, young parents, parents of small children.
If something were to happen to me, don't you let her go buy an island with some ugly dude and share that thing the rest of her life. You better not do that.
You better not be replaced. You cannot be replaced.
Because of my drip?
Yes, because of that drip. Goodness gracious. You a whole mess. But parents, you got to do it. You have got to take the time.
You really do.
And you got to make the investment. And you say, well, I don't have enough money now. I don't have enough money to get my groceries, and I don't have enough money to pay all my bills. And they don't ask me to say this, but I'm going to chime in as a pastor. Don't leave your family with those stressors. Don't let the moments that they're supposed to be cherishing your legacy in the earth and anxiety over how they're going to properly honor you with a burial.
Listen, that's a fear you can check off.
That's a fear. And not only that, not only that, but the Bible says that a good man leaves an inheritance, excuse me, to his children's children. And a life insurance policy is a good way to start creating generational wealth. So lots of good things here and we appreciate so much our friends at family.
So back to fear.
Get into this thing right here.
You know what Ron though, just take the pressure off. This is not something that just the subpar people deal with or the people who are less spiritual. We have all struggled with fear. You know, there's good fear and bad fear. There's a natural fear. You know, you see a dog barking, you know that. That's a natural fear that tells you go the other way. You see a hurricane coming, a tornado coming. You, you feel that? Oh, that fight.
Those are not demonic.
Do the right things to keep yourself safe. So we're not talking about that. We're talking about the fear that keeps you from being everything that God says you can be. That keeps you from occupying and possessing every promise that God says is yours. And it keeps you in the background, it keeps you weighted down, it keeps you from feeling free to pursue your dreams and the God given things that he's already paid the price for. That's the fear we're talking about.
So when you talk about, when you talk about this overriding, paralyzing fear, that's when I think you're coming into demonic. No, it's not the dog barking and showing me his teeth and growling. It's not. When I see my toddler who just went out the front door and I'm chasing him and he's watching the road.
When I see a mouse.
Yeah, that's not the spirit.
A little teen.
It's not the spirit of fear.
I lose my mind.
What are some of the fruits? Failure to make a decision.
So you're saying now how can you tell if you struggle?
The fruit of that spirit? Spirit is insomnia.
Yes.
Anxiety, extreme anxiety. Insomnia, even depression can come with fear.
Anger.
Anger can come with fear. Yeah. There's all types of fruit dangling on this tree that lets you know there's something bigger going on. Especially if these things are repetitive and never cease. They just cycle and cycle and cycle through your life. I have dealt with what I believe was the spirit of fear in 2017. I mean directly with a spirit of fear that I think was designed to come and try to take me out. And that is when I want to be very vulnerable. Because I've heard some of America's, the pastors of some of America's largest churches beginning to come forward with their struggle with this. And so I don't want to just act like God's man of faith and power, that I never had any of these struggles. I was hospitalized in 2010 with insomnia. And I think at that time, it was when Hope and I were in the first time of going through some of our difficult years when Hope was really, really struggling and because of that struggle was bringing great pressure on our marriage and on our family, that I think the fear of what's going to happen now, the fear of what is my family going to look like? The fear of am I going to be able to continue in ministry? All those things paralyzed me and got me to where I went 23 days. I remember exactly well. I quit trying to go to sleep. I just sat up all night on the couch. And I remember there was a fireplace with some black tile around it, and I just stared at it all night long. This went on for 23 days. And I've told people it was so bad, I dreaded seeing the sun go down. Yeah, I remember it because when the sun started going down, I knew my fight was starting. But I was absolutely paralyzed with fear of everything that tomorrow would bring.
Fear. But that's exactly what fear does. Fear has you anticipating the worst about the future. No doubt it's about the future. You know what depression is? It's because you are depressed about what has happened in the past. Depression is about your current situation and your past. Fear is all about moving forward into the life that God has for you.
And I ended up in the hospital because of that. And the thing is, it really wasn't. They wanted to drug me and put me on a million different kinds of medicine. But I didn't want to go there because I knew it was spiritual. Let me segue to this. When you were really, really struggling, I didn't know what was going on. And we won't go through all that. You got a book. We've talked about it at other places. I didn't know what was going on. I knew you were changing drastically and deteriorating drastically and making bad decisions right in front of my face. And I loved you, but I had no clue what to do. And I remember thinking you needed medical help. You might need to be medicated. And you said after the fact, when we found out some of the things that had gone on and they had all come to light, and we were trying to repair it. You said, even in that state, I knew not to go get on medicine because it would have masked a spiritual problem.
Yeah, I remember it. I had enough of the Holy Spirit because even in my struggle, I love the Lord. Even in my struggle, I was saved, But I was tormented. And I remember you saying to me, why don't you go get on some medicine? And I said, there was something in me, a still, small voice. I was being led by my peace, by the Holy Spirit on the inside of me, Because I knew that it would be compounded. Compounded problems. It would mask what was going on. We may not get to the root. Because I knew that something in me was wrong, that it was a spiritual struggle. And I did not want to take medicine at that time to try to say, okay, now everything's okay, when everything was not okay now. After we separated, I went to living waters. My life had just crumbled and fell apart. I did get on anxiety medicine for a time. I got on anxiety medicine for a year, but the root had already been exposed. I had already gotten to the root of my issues and my problems. I was such a wreck. I was so in such a bad, frail state. So to even receive any counsel, to even receive any help, I had to get my emotions under control. I was crying so much. I was not eating. So that my counselors in my life suggested I get on some anxiety medicine. And it helped me so much. But I was only on it for a year. And God got me through that tough time.
I remember it was a bridge. It wasn't a sentence.
Absolutely.
It wasn't a life sentence. So counseling somebody not too long ago, telling me about they were paralyzed by fear, paralyzed into not making decisions, and just a lot of things in their life dangling and couldn't move forward. So I really challenged them on this point, and here is what I told them. I said, tell me what you're experiencing, and every bit of it was a derivative of fear. And then I said, now I'm going to challenge you. Almost said all those feelings are following thoughts.
That's.
Feelings are not arbitrarily neutral, and you're just feeling them. Feelings follow thoughts. You're having feelings of fear because you're having thoughts of fear.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So in other words, it's scientifically proven, guys, scientifically proven that if you have a thought, you have 30 seconds to deal with that thought. Where the Bible says, pulling down strongholds, vain imaginations, mindsets, anything that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. I've got 30 seconds whether I'm going to cast that thought out or whether I'm going to meditate on it. After 30 seconds, the thought is then tougher to get realized because it is accompanied by feeling. Yeah. So feelings follow thoughts. Fear is a very real feeling that is experienced. It's overpowering feeling. But they're only there because you thought it first.
Yeah.
In other words, you're thinking bad foreboding, doom and gloom. You're thinking those thoughts, and so now you're meditating on them in such a way you've given those feelings dominion over your life, so now you're enslaved to it and cannot make a decision outside of it.
So that's why you have to immediately combat that thought with God's word.
Immediately.
Immediately.
You got 30. The 30 seconds is the science thing. That's not a biblical thing. It's science. So that's why the Bible says casting down. Literally, that's a warfare term. I got to take that thing and yank it down. You didn't come from God. Every thought, you didn't come from God. And I'm not going to let you stay there. That exalts itself against the knowledge of God. So if God says, I'm blessed and I get a thought in my head.
So that thought is up here. God's word's down here. It's exalting itself.
I got something ahead. You know, this family just must be cursed. We just must be. That is against the knowledge of God. Yeah, the knowledge of God. There's a plan, there's a purpose, and you are blessed of the Lord, and he's given you every spiritual blessing. So I've got to go say, that does not match what God told me. And so I got to yank it down.
That don't match the Word, and I.
Got to replace it with what the Word said. Now you get me in preaching mode. Let me read this right here. This is good.
We're helping somebody today.
Okay. But Jesus, now the Pharisees heard it and they said, this fellow does not cast out demons except by Beelzebub, the ruler of demons, Satan. Jesus had just cast out devils. And they said, well, he cast out devils because he's Satan. So Jesus picks up on the idiocy of this statement. But Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them, every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation. Every city or house divided against itself will not stand. Why would Satan cast out Satan? Is he divided against himself? How then will his kingdom stand? Then he goes on down. But if I cast out demons by the spirit of God, the kingdom of God is come upon you. How can one enter a strong man's house and plunder his goods unless he first binds the strong man and he will plunder his house.
Strong man. What's his name?
This is tough. Don't you get mad at me. It has been my experience that medicine deals with symptoms. Medicine deals with fruit.
Yes.
It don't deal with roots.
No. It's a band aid.
Okay. I'm not against it. I have taken it. Yes, you have taken it. Not going to be hypocritical. But it cannot deal with the problem. No, it deals with the fruit. The symptoms that you're going through now, Jesus said these symptoms are not going to stop until you go in and get the one behind it.
Yep, the strong man.
The strong man. If there are symptoms in your life, there is a strong man that the word of God says is behind that. Okay. Now we normally think that this is where binding and loosing comes in and we grab somebody at the altar. Like you like to do when you push people.
I do not push people.
If you come to one of her meetings and she prays, that is not. She will not let the Holy Ghost minister you. She is going to push you down. She's going to push you down.
Push people. Now, I don't.
And then if you don't fall, she'll stand and say, receive, Ron, receive. You know you do.
I'm about to push you.
You know you do.
I do not push people down.
You want to see people fall, just let them stand still. I don't.
I want to see them delivered. And the power of God does it.
Every time she goes off and preaches, she calls me after it's over.
I said, he does. That's the question. Did you push people? I say no, but God did.
Was kind of like this. It's not.
Ron, you better keep.
It's just tilting her head back a little bit.
Continue on. Spirit of fear.
I just keep my hand a little bit off to show people that the Lord.
No, you don't even pray for people.
Yes, I do.
I do.
I do it from the stage.
Oh, right, okay. Yeah.
All right. The bind strong man. This is most time where people go, I bind in the name of Jesus. I don't know if there's anything wrong with that, but that's not what binding and looses is talking about. Binding and loosing. Jesus said, what you bind on earth will be bound in heaven. What you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. So in other words, if you allow it, I'll allow it. If you withhold it, I'll withhold it.
That's right.
So basically, he's talking about not demons. He's talking about everything in life.
He's power.
But now the Bible says that the anointing destroys the yoke and removes the burden. So, in other words, every strongman has a yoke. You're enslaved by it and has a burden that's on your life because of it.
That's right.
And the anointing destroys the yoke and lay the burden. So here again, we think like this. The anointing, you know, and we lay hands on you. I believe in that. I have seen instantaneous miracles. I have experienced instantaneous miracles. But the anointing destroys the yoke. The word anointing, there in Isaiah 10, the word is fatness. There are some demonic powers that are broken by your growth. By your growth.
What?
Not by a moment. In other words, there's the yoke growth of what? Your spiritual life. Your growth. So in other words, there comes a time where I have grown so much in God.
Yes.
That I become. I move to a place where it.
Pops off of my life, that I've outgrown it.
Because the anointing does not mean a moment of lightning power. It means fatness. In other words, I'm too large now for this thing to hold me anymore.
Listen, listen. Some of y' all just got a word right there. Y' all got a whole conference right there. Y' all better get your cash app out. Ron and Hope Carpenter, listen here. There are just some things that as you grow in God, it can't hold you anymore. It can't hold you.
So some of you that didn't get it at the altar, it can happen.
I'm not talking about chronological time, either. Growing in time. Growing in God.
Growing in your faith.
Growing in your faith.
And so there comes a time where you know too much. You've got too much word, and you've got too much God for that thing to hold it.
My goodness.
The yoke is something that is put on the ox in Hebrew times when they would use the ox to plow up the hard field till up the ground. They would put the yoke on the ox as a baby because the ox is a beast of burden. It's a mighty beast. But they would do it early because they realized once it got to maturity, they couldn't control it.
Right.
So in other words, they would put the yoke on the baby ox's neck. So as the ox grew, it took on the nature of the yoke.
Yeah.
So in other words, they could control it in its mature state because all it knew was that yoke. Some of you have been yoked at an early age, and now your life has taken on the order of the yoke. And the Bible says, yeah, there can be a moment where God breaks it. But most of the time, it's when we grow too large. For the thing that held us in that season can no longer hold me in this season. My, my, my, I need to quit.
My, my, my, my, my. I'm about to run around the dome.
Hallelujah.
Psalm 34, 4 through 5. I sought the Lord. This is key. You struggling in fear. You struggling in fear. Psalm 34 says, I sought the Lord and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears. Seek the Lord.
That's the fatness.
Yes. And delivered me from all my fears.
Seeking the Lord is. Is going after God in every way. He can be found. He can be found in his word. He can be found in his presence. He can be found in worship. He can be found in prayer. It's all these things I do to build intimacy that cause me to become large on the inside. And yokes just can't hold you. You get to a place in your faith that those things, those lesser things can no longer hold you anymore. That happened to our son, Chaz.
Before we tell that story, we're going to come right back and tell that story. I got to end with our last wonderful.

Yes.
Let me end with this because here again we've been on here over a half hour. Chaz, I think is the perfect example of the fatness destroys the yoke. Our son Chaz went through an excruciating anxiety and OCD would you call it? Yeah, separation anxiety.
Yeah.
That made me dread the sun coming up because I knew in the mornings.
It was war with him just going to school.
Oh, well, we finally had to take him out. He couldn't even do it. And it was because he was so young.
He was six years old.
I would drive onto my office with tears running down my face of the spectacle that just went on. Trying to get him to pull his claws out of the dash of the car by his. By his teachers trying to get him to go to school. He was so afraid, so bottled up. I mean everything had to be perfect. All of his stuffed animals had to be facing the wall at night before he slept. And it got worse, and it got worse and then started the medicine. And that was excruciating because they're guinea pig. Because finding the right medicine. Well, I think we got the right medicine but we don't have the right dose, and he'd gain weight, and he'd lose weight, and he'd gain weight, and it was. It was tough. It was tough to watch.
I have to tell a funny story, though, while we're talking about this. Because he was afraid to do anything. He wouldn't go out and play with people. He wouldn't go to people's house, he wouldn't go to school. But after we'd had him on medicine for about a year and they had finally got him on the right medicine, they had him on too much of a dose. So it took him from way down here all the way up here. And remember the teacher calling us and saying, we may have to change Chaz's medicine because every day on the playground, he chases people around with dog poop on a stick. And he thinks it's funny. I mean, he had gone from being.
Afraid to chasing people, from hiding in the corner, chasing.
Chasing people with poop.
I forgot about that. That's true. But, you know, it's funny now. But then, oh, it was so funny. We were just seeing him all over the place. We didn't even know what his real personality was. Almost. That's true. And I, as the leader of the house and believe so much in the power of God, I can't tell you the amount of times I laid hands on him. I can't tell you the amount of times at night I went there and I released the anointing of the Holy Ghost. And I'm believing now this yoke for years and years, excruciating with a breaking heart seeing him struggle through that. And it just. It lingered. But he kept growing and we kept speaking the Word. He kept learning the Word.
He kept speaking the Word.
He spoke the Word. We would give him things to say, and at night he would sit there and say. We would put scripture verses on headphones and he would listen to them in his ears. And he kept growing. He kept growing. So how old was he? 14? 13.
14 years old.
He came downstairs one morning.
Now listen. We went from 6 years old Y to 13.
And bad. We're. We can't tell you how bad. And he came down there and said, may miss my words. He just looked at us. He said.
He said, I'm not going to that school anymore.
I'm not going to that school anymore.
Gotten him in a special school.
He's in a school where it was one on one.
Yeah. And so I was. When he said that, I freaked out. I was like, oh, no, here we go again. He's. He's not going to go to school. And I was like, chaz, you got to go to school. And he said, no, Mama. What I'm telling you is I'm not going to that school anymore. He said, I'm going to public school. He said, and I'm going today. I was like, okay, sir, let's get in the car.
But then he said, and I'm not taking that medicine.
He did. He said, and guess what, Mama? I don't take my medicine anymore. At that time, you know, I would put his medicine by his bed. He was 13 years old, and he was supposed to take it on his own. He said, I weaned myself off this summer, he said, and I haven't been on any medicine. He said, and I'm going to public school.
Why, Pop? Because there comes a time in your relationship with God, elementary things cannot hold you, Jesus. So whether it comes in a moment of God's divine power or whether it comes over a process of growth, one way or the other, I want to give good news to those who struggle. You will be free.
Yes.
In Jesus name.
In Jesus name.
Hallelujah. I know we've been doing a good bit of teaching, but go ahead.
I think I want to end with the Scriptures. Psalm 56, 3, 4. When I am afraid. Not if. When. When I am afraid. I put my trust in you, in God whose word I praise. In God I trust. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me? I don't know where you are, but I have to believe. Those of you who are listening to me, some of you listening or you know somebody have really struggled with fear. We've had it in our own house, with our son, with ourselves. And I'm telling you, God's word does not lie. It doesn't lie. He will give you the tools he can come in the anointing of God, the fatness of God, the growth in God can break this yoke, and it will lift this burden that you are carrying of fear. So I just speak to every person listening right now under the sound of my voice. God's word is enough. It's what you need. Keep speaking that word, keep speaking it over yourself, over your children, over your house, and you will be free. In Jesus name. We love you so much.
Love you guys.
