Yeah, those are kind of like your clip clap boots. Like your little. You know what I mean? Like. Yeah, like dancing boots. They look like those little boots never.

Danced in my boots. What we need. We're being ridiculous for having such a serious topic that we're about to break open on everybody here, tell them what we're talking about.

We're talking about the supernatural today.

Supernatural.

The supernatural natural. God puts his super on your natural.

That's the anointing. I'm not talking about the anointing. That is supernatural. But that's not what I'm talking about today.

You're supernatural.

I'm going to talk about. And I am supernatural.

Yep.

I'm anointed.

You are right.

I can't get you serious. And I need to talk about something serious.

I am very serious. When I said you're supernatural.

Not talking about me talking about the spirit world. I'm doing something I don't usually do. A lot of times we have a lot of things going on and sometimes they just operate on their own separate wheel. But I do want to use this to set up a series that I'm about to start that I'm already. I just told everybody what I'm getting ready to do and I'm already getting feedback on it because I really believe it's a big deal and I think it could be revolutionary in some ways. But I'm going to talk about curses. I'm going to talk about darkness. I'm going to talk about wickedness. I'm going to talk about the Demonic. And the reason I'm doing it, and I'm going to tell you why. And if you want to get mad at me, you can, because I'm 50 some years old, I don't care. And I can take it.

Me get mad at you?

No, I'm talking about people out there and pastors of anybody, because preachers no longer speak on it. If I go on YouTube and try to pull up some type of teaching on the demonic, on the angelic, on the supernatural world, supernatural realm, evil, any of those things, most of Those videos are 20, 30 years old, maybe older. I had Rob Parsley tell me a while back, Pastor Parsley, excuse me, on some things. When I went here, he said, the only place I've heard stuff like you're saying is books that I've been reading that are 100 years old or more. I don't know why. I really don't know why. I don't know if hope, if it was a response to our generation's over the top spirituality. But it started with the millennial generation succeeding us. They just literally erased.

They wanted to make church comfortable, comfortable.

And fun and non offensive and everybody. And so what happened was a total and complete watering down of all spiritual experiences. Just because we have music and we jump around, that has nothing to do with what is happening around us in a world that we cannot see. And we see an age that is building bigger ministries, larger followings than ever before, but at the same time, a nation in moral decay quicker than it has ever been. And no power deterring Father. No power anywhere. So if someone was demon, oppressed, possessed.

Or nobody would know what to do.

What church do I go to? Because you can't reason with a demon. You can't medicate a demon. You can't counsel a demon. The only thing you can do is cast it out. I don't know anybody.

So if you don't even know anything about it, how can you deal with it?

And we're all natural now. So we got more antidepressants than ever in history. We've got more people being medicated for mental disease than ever in history. And the fact is, because the church has no power. I got asked this question on Rift the other night. How can epilepsy and alter, can these things be demonically correlated? And I said, the fact is, yes, they can. Because there are times like our son, he's had brain trauma. Chase has had a bunch of crap happen to his head. They went and did a brain scan, they saw deficiencies. So there are things that happen, that can cause depression, can cause ADD that have happened to the brain, that are natural. Yes, he had a motorcycle crash when I slammed his head into the ground.

Concussions and football.

Concussions in football. He was boxing and all this other stuff. But then there are other times where the Bible clearly they said that they brought Jesus one who was epileptic and said often he throws himself into the fire and often he throws himself into the water. And Jesus bemoaned the disciples inability to cast it out. He cast the devil out of that young man and he came up in his right mind. Now, people don't want to think that anybody in their family who may be struggling with a condition, and we are.

Not saying that every time it is.

They don't want to equate that to they have a demon. That the reality of it is in the heart of a discerner. So you know that there can be natural causes, you know that there can be spiritual causes. But one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit is discernment which God gives so that we can determine the origin of a thing. Okay, I used to say this all the time and I say it comically, but the fact is there's a lot of truth to it. If you buke it and it don't buke, it's not a devil. It wasn't a devil. Because at the name of Jesus, something demonic has to submit. Yes, it has to submit. Jesus said, all authority has been given unto me in heaven and earth, and you can trample on serpents and scorpions and all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means harm you. So scorpions, Serpents is not talking about bugs, scorpions and serpents. It's talking about demonic powers.

Podcast word.

Yeah.

Scorpions.

Scorpions. Scorpions. And so I want to passionately, I don't want to preach, but I want to passionately expose some of you are fighting stuff you can't see.

Yeah, well, the Bible clearly says we don't wrestle against flesh and blood. Our wrestle our fight. And we. If you're in a fight, scripture 101. Yeah, we are. We don't wrestle against flesh and blood, but powers and principalities and rulers. In the dark age, when my kids.

Would come home in a full blown rebell rebellion. I wasn't fighting my kid. No, you spirit of rebellion, get out of your kids.

Spirit of rebellion.

Yes, and addiction and all these other things. You got to understand, we are not fighting each other. When there's division in the house of God, when there's division in your house, when there's strife in your marriage, when there's all these different things and all these different spirits mentioned in the Bible that the Bible talks about and their operation in the church. In here again, the pulpit is just silent. And we have counseling classes for you. Well, it used to be all altar and we didn't counsel you. Now it's all counseling and no one else. We don't have any power at the altar.

You got to have both.

Why do we always swing the pendulum too far the other way? And some of you pastors out there, you're just sending your people back home in torment of your 20 minute messages. We've taken the altars out of the church. There is no ministry. There is no operation of the gift. There is no demonstration of the anointing. And Paul said to the Corinthian Roman Church, he said, I did not come to you with wise and persuasive words of man's wisdom. He said, I didn't come to you with my, you know, my computers and my TVs and getting you all my. He said, I didn't come with all that and I use them.

Yeah.

He said, but that is not how I approached you. He said, I came to you with demonstration and power, with the power and demonstration of the Holy Ghost.

Yeah.

And so I want to, I want to be a voice to a generation. And I hope that some of you guys will see in your churches. I think the lights and the smoke have wowed people about all that's going to wow them.

Yeah. When you get to a certain place in your life, a certain age, you know, you can go to the, go to church and enjoy all that in your 20s and maybe your early 30s. But you know what? Sometime in your life, you hit your mid-30s, you hit up on something that don't move and stuff starts coming out of you that, that little 15, 20 minute sermonette does not fix. You're gonna need something.

I'm not being hypocritical. We do the sermons, we do the tracts. We do the classes. We have community. We pass the church, but we believe.

In the power of the Holy Spirit.

I got pictures on screen. I got graphics on my wall. I'm not being hypocritical. I do all that. And I'm not talking about people of power, not having a modern presentation. That's not what I'm talking about. All about shifting and changing to become relevant to the generation we seek to serve. I'm all about that. I have taught that ever since I've been in ministry. I'm talking about taking an entire element of spiritual power and anointing and the authority of the name of Jesus Christ and removing it from the gathering of the sea.

So that you're not offensive to people in your congregation. No.

And at the same time, look at Hollywood. I need to Google this. If you and I go were to scroll through Netflix. We're not big Netflix watcher, but we'll turn it on on a day off, on a date night. If I were to scroll through the hbos and showtimes and what have you, I would bet right now that 4 out of every 10 channels supernatural. We'll be dealing with the supernatural and the church will not say a word. So if all of their information about the unseen world is coming from Hollywood, then the people are going to be confused. Instance I was in Cleveland, Ohio a while back and I went in to get a haircut. You remember this story? The girl found out I was a pastor, started talking to me about how much she loved Jesus and started talking to me about some of the churches she had visited. And then she went on and said yeah, and my sister was just murdered. And she said my boyfriend, he's in prison. Our whole family's going through I'm keeping the child. And said it's been a horrible time. And said and I'm seeing a medium.

But she loves Jesus. Okay, look, but going to see a.

Medium she needs prophetic insight into her life.

But the church don't have it.

She couldn't go to the church.

She didn't get it at church.

She couldn't go to the church because we don't recognize prophets, we don't recognize prophecy.

Ron Carpenter I know it.

So she had she and this woman loves God and said I'm confused. I don't know what's going on. My world has been touched, has been turned upside down and there is no prophetic insight in the church. So I go to the world to try to get it. Something is bad wrong when people in.

The church do you think it's because the pastors this day and age churches pastors don't know anything about it.

Pastors don't know how to function in the supernatural. And in fact, oh, I could go on and on right here.

Do you think they don't know anything about it and don't know how or don't want to do it for fear of offending people.

They don't want to do it so they don't seek out the knowledge of anything about it because it's not coming in their church. The fact is, what they don't understand is they got spirits all in their church, but not the right kind.

Maybe that's why me and you aren't invited to speak at those churches. I think we're afraid.

We preach that enough of them.

We're very afraid.

Because honestly, my presence, it stirs up the spiritual. I don't even have to preach this when you know what God has given you to walk in.

Listen, just like what happened last Sunday. I was at our west coast campus. Church was over, and a couple came up to me and said, the woman starts crying, just bawling and crying. And she said, pastor, I need help. I need help. And she went on to tell me some things that were going on in her life and in her family. She said, I've read your book. She said, I'm going to take Healing the Heart classes, but I'm just tormented and I need help. And I just. I mean, it was just on and on and on. And I just stopped and I laid hands on her and I began to pray and I. She started manifesting right there. She started. She started throwing up right there on the side of the aisle. She fell over. I began to just keep praying over, keep praying over. And finally she started laughing and peace came. Peace came. She stood up. In her whole face was different, and she was free.

But unless you were willing to risk that manifestation, you would have sent her home the way she came.

Tormented, tormented.

You would have sent her home the way she came. And you know what?

We'll be held responsible for that.

I'm concerned. I'm concerned. I don't understand the Holy Spirit being my helper. And the majority of the gifts that he gives are manifestation and demonstration gifts. We don't ever talk about it. We don't ever study it. We don't ever tell people they can go home and operate in it themselves. We don't tell people they can lay their hands on the sick people in their house and they recover. We don't tell people, take your child, throw your hands on that child and speak to that thing and break it in the name of Jesus.

Deal with rebellion.

And I don't get it. I do think it's in. I do think there was a lot of nonsense in my father's generation and somewhat in ours. I think it's a response to it. I've heard this. We don't want church to be weird. We don't want church to be spooky. We don't want church. But the fact is the spirit world is foolishness to us and our world is foolishness to the spirit world. I've got to be willing to look foolish here to let God's wisdom invade our environment.

Yeah, the super onto our natural.

So let me just take this. We got a few minutes left. We're not doing a long podcast because I'm getting ready to teach on this for probably a couple of months. So I'm not going to try to take 30 minutes and do it. But I want to say this. Be weary and leery if you're sitting under teaching that teaches what I call a gospel of dualism. Dualism is there's a good God, there's a co equal bad devil, and they're fighting all the time and you're the prize because that is absolute heresy and non biblical truth. And it will confuse your spiritual walk every day for the rest of your life because you feel like you've got to get up and win a battle that you already won. You are not fighting for victory, you are fighting from victory. So your job is not to get up and be the devil, but when you listen to some people in the pulpit and shout at the devil and point at the devil and tell the devil, in other words, we are trying to sit there and convince ourselves we got some type of power over him because he is ruining our life.

The devil's on my back.

Yeah. And the fact is the Bible is clear hope that the enemy and all of his cohorts are thoroughly, totally and completely defeated.

Defeated.

They've been disarmed. Colossians 1:13. God made an open spectacle of them by the cross of Jesus Christ. It is finished. There's nothing more that can be done and there's nothing you can do to increase upon his victory. We need to get that established once and for all. There is not a good God and a bad God that are fighting every day. And we're trying to figure out at the end of the day who won.

The battle is occupying.

Right? Jesus said, occupied, I come. So like, it took Israel 40 years to occupy their promise. It's taken years for governments to occupy other areas. Our job is to occupy everything Jesus purchased for us in his absence until he returns again. So our warfare is not to win. Our warfare is to occupy. Having said that, this is a great question. I'll tell you what, I don't want to get into the teaching. Let me share a story. The teaching is too much. And if I open it, I won't be able to close it. Right.

I'll be Here all day.

Yeah, I don't like to do that. I don't like to do that because I deal with things where I try to mess people's head up on purpose, especially when I want to break bad doctrine, theology, and tradition. But to do that, you need to take your time, be meticulous, and sew up all the points. Do you remember that time in the 90s, baby doll? You know, we did everything. I'd never had a class in counseling. I didn't know anything about counseling. I didn't know anything about counseling until we went through it. I didn't know a lot because everything happened at an altar. But, you know, I was all of a sudden a senior pastor, and I'm 23, 24 years old. I used to counsel people. And so people have problems, they come talk to me. So I'm sitting in there. I love God. I know a good bit of the word. I know God, but I don't know how to counsel. And so I'm sitting there, and this lady comes in for counsel, and a glazed look over her eyes. Nothing she talked about from the time, pardon me, she entered my office was intelligible. And then she started wigging out. All I know is wig right there in my office. And I'm going to tell you guys, I was clueless, just clueless at what to do, because I got something happening in this woman right there in front of me.

But, you know, the spirit realm.

Yeah. And there ain't no counseling in the world going to fix what I'm seeing happening in front of me.

You knew something was happening in the spirit.

Don't all of you get scared? Who may have, you know, been sexually adventurous? I'm not saying all this is you. I'm just. I'm just going to tell you what happened that day. I'm standing there, and as quick as that, I mean, a fear didn't come over me, but, oh, wow, what am I going to do? Came over me. And as soon as that wonder came over me, the spirit of God said, she is manifesting all of the personalities of the men she slept with.

Wow.

Because prostitution had been a part of her past. And I sat there and just wigging out on the ground, you know, not really contorting, but, I mean, it was a manifestation. And I walked over when I got that word, I walked over, and I mean, she was moving. I got my hands on her, and I spoke to those spirits, and I commanded them to leave her in the name of Jesus. And she fell back, and then she opened up her eyes. And her eyes was clear. And she got up and sat back down in a chair. A totally different woman. But does she still need help?

Yeah. Then you were able to minister to her and talk with her.

Because you cannot minister to a demon. No. You cannot reason with a demon. And I'm amazed at how somehow we have a generation of leaders that I guess just think demon activity stopped at some Certain that stopped with their generation.

We don't deal with that anymore.

We don't do that. We don't do demons no more. The demon thing's over with. We don't do demons anymore. And I'm seeing more of them manifest more of. I mean, they're walking our streets. They're taking over people's minds. They're wrecking marriages. They're wrecking children. There's so much perversion and so much sexual confusion. Confusion. All that is spirit.

It is spirit.

There's a spirit behind every single bit of that. And what I am imploring the pastors to do is open your mind back up to a world like God showed the man of God. There's more for you out there than there are against you. You just don't see it. But we're doing the people of God a disservice if we don't come back into the understanding of these spiritual realities. Demons are real and they hate you. And they hate the assignment on your life and they hate the purpose on your life. And you better know how to deal with wickedness because wickedness is increasing.

That's our war.

It's our war now. Am I being too ugly? No.

Absolutely. Let me ask a question.

Am I making friends or making enemies?

Right now, it doesn't really matter if you speak the truth. So can a Christian have a demon?

I don't think a Christian can be demon possessed. Because when you talk, there's seven levels of demonic activity. There's impression, possession, obsession. There's all types of levels. I've spoken on those before. When you talk about demonic possession, you're talking about a person's total will being enslaved to that of a demon. I do not believe that a Christian can be totally enslaved to the will of a demon. But Paul said in Romans 7, after he had been saved in Romans 5, 6, that I see, evil is present with me, the one who wills to do good.

Yeah.

So I believe there are aspects and attributes of our life unsanctified in our flesh that draw like a magnet. Demonic activity.

Yeah, activity.

So I believe there's demonic activity. I believe there's demonic influence. And case in point, Jesus. Who do men say that I am? Some people. So all that was natural. Peter spoke up. Thou art the Christ, the son of the living God, Jesus. Finally. Yeah, somebody heard heaven besides me. Blessed are you. Simon Barjona, for flesh and blood did not reveal this to you. You heard God?

Yeah.

The heavens opened up and you heard something you can't see. Blessed are you. In other words, he's like. He was waiting for that moment for somebody to hear God besides him. Then Jesus, the Bible said, went on to tell them that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things. Peter stood back up. Never, Lord.

Right.

Jesus spun on him and said, get thee behind me. He didn't call Peter Satan. He spoke to the demon that was using him.

At that moment.

He one moment was hearing God, the next moment was being used by demonic power. And Jesus basically exposed we have the ability to be used by power.

Yeah, it's our weakness. It's our flesh. Anything. It's our flesh.

And, you know, Peter had to feel bad after his shining moment, you know, getting the devil cast out of him. I mean, you know, that had to lower the boom on him. But the fact was, at that moment.

He was being used.

So how many of us in an argument at that moment, we've become so angry now. It's not just anger. We're being used at that moment. How many people have an opinion in a church and they're causing such strife and division that it's no longer an opinion, It's a divisive spirit. What about on Facebook, anywhere else? Facebook, social media. That goes without saying. So when has it deteriorated from flesh down into something demonic? Wherever flesh is still operating.

Flesh, flesh, flesh.

You're going to find demons are awaiting at the door nearby. God told Cain that. He said sin lies at the door. In other words, it's waiting for an opportunity. Do we need to get back to the place where we got a demon under every rock and we cast them out of coke machines? No, because I've seen that and I lived through it. And I don't want that in my church either, because it's flippant and it's flaky and it has no spiritual substance. But to deny the reality that people are up against real demonic power in households, generational curses, and not being willing.

To attack it and do something about.

It, and because they don't have the knowledge of how to do it. They don't. They don't. They wouldn't know if that happened in front of them. They'd be looking for somebody to hand the mic to so fast because they don't know what to do. And they would probably have security come in.

If you don't want to involve yourself in that because you wouldn't attract the right crowd, then you have demonic activity working in you because that's pride. You don't want to have that manifestation. You don't want to touch that because it will. It will attract the wrong crowd. And we don't want our rich people to leave and we don't want our yuppies to leave.

Listen, what is the word? Anointing Christ.

Right.

The word Christ is anointing. The Bible says that the spirit anointing Antichrist is already at work. What is Christ anointing? We think of Antichrist as a person, but the Bible talks about the spirit of it. The spirit of anti anointing is in the church. The spirit of Antichrist don't start in the world because the world ain't anointed.

Goodness gracious.

The spirit of anti anointing begins in the church.

Do not write us any letters. Do not send us any emails. Ugly ones.

We have a generation of leaders that are really good leaders, but they are against the anointing. And that spirit has not got to be driven out of our communities and our cities first. It's got to be driven out of our church and out of our pulpits first. Wow.

Wow.

And with that, I probably need to shut it down and get ready to go home.

When are you going to start this series?

Probably going to be in the next week or two. I'm going to start and I'm going to start out talking about curses, people fighting things they can't see. My heart hurts so bad that people are waging warfare and have no idea what they're fighting.

Right? Right.

They're fighting word curses, they're fighting generational curses, they're fighting curses in the bloodline vow curses, they're fighting vowel curses, they're fighting judgment curses. And it's just not talked about. So I looked at it and said, you know what? Maybe that's what God wants me to do is I'm just going to roll the dice out there because I got there is a people and a generation who want to hear and statistics show that the Z generation is tired of all the mess anyway and they are coming back to true authentic power experiences with God and that is what they are hungry for. And they would rather meet in a barn with a power experience than have all this and not have it any day.

Any day.

So I think what is happening is for those that are sitting here in the spirit field, it that's coming back around and there's a generation saying, all right, we've missed something in this last cycle and we want you to tell us what it is.

And I'm going to tell them, let's do it. I'm going to tell them, let's do it.
