Success Gods Way | Hope Carpenter

A live/recorded motivational message by Hope Carpenter (YouTube) explaining how to achieve success "God's way." The speaker urges listeners to identify their God-given calling, write a clear vision (Habakkuk 2:2), take faith steps (mentors, training, obedience), and abide in Christ, supporting these points with multiple scripture citations (Jeremiah 29:11; John 15:7; Proverbs; Psalm 91; Isaiah). The talk emphasizes responsibility (conditional "if/then" obedience), generosity as purpose for blessing, perseverance through trials, and practical CTAs (prayer, social links, newsletter).

Well, hello, everybody. Here we are again. Thank you so much for being here. Facebook Live, YouTube, Instagram Reels, whatever way you are joining, thank you for being here. Listen. Whoo. God's given me a word for you. You gotta tell somebody to join tonight, like share. Call your little friends, all your aunties, your uncles, everybody. Listen. We all want, want to succeed. We all want to do good. We all want to fulfill our purpose in our life. We all want to be successful. We all want a happy life, right? Money in the bank. We all want to be healthy. We all want to be able to buy our children their school uniforms and to be able to pay our debts. And we all want to be able to be healthy in our body and to be happy and fulfilled in our job. But how? You know, so many questions people ask. Does God prefer some people over other people? Why is this person successful and I'm not? Why does this person seem to be just crushing it, killing it? Is there a secret formula? Why do some suffer when others just seem to breeze through life? How many of us just beat ourselves up because we feel behind, like we shouldn't, like we're not where we should be in life? What about this? Listen, especially if you've gotten a word from God that you will do something, that you will be something, that you will achieve something. And here you sit in the same position that you were last year or last month. My question is, are you willing? Are you still waiting? Listen, the words that were spoken over you. I'm getting ahead of myself. Are you still waiting for the words that have been spoken over you years ago to come to pass? There's been so many words spoken over my life. I can remember so many specific times that I've been in a service, a revival or a prophet has come up to me and said, said, you know, 1, 2, 3, ABC. And I'm still waiting. I'm 52 years old waiting on that particular word to come to pass. I've been there. It's very frustrating. You feel stuck, overloaded, overworked, underpaid, distracted by kids, your husband, your wife, your bills. And starting out. Motivation is not a problem. But after some time, it gets harder and harder to stay motivated. It gets harder and harder to keep that hope burning alive on the inside of you. Who am I talking to out there? Who am I talking to? That's with anything. Working out, eating right, deciding to answer politely, not cutting people off in traffic, not losing your temper, getting up early to spend time with the Lord, on and on and on. Listen, there's so many self help seminars and conferences out there. But God's word says so much about goals and how to keep moving toward them. So let's look at this. If you got your Bibles, go to Habakkuk 2:2 and it says this. Write the vision down, make it plain so that those who read it can run with it. Right? That's what we want. We want to be running with it. We don't want to just stay stuck and stay stagnant. We want the words, we want the vision, but we want to run with it. So number one, to have the vision, you have to know what God has called you to do. What has he said to you? What do you know that you are called to do? Say, well, how do I know? Hope? What are you inclined to? What makes you cry? What are you good at? What are you constantly being fought over? Listen, if your marriage is constantly being fought over, then you probably are designed to help somebody in marriage. If your money's being fought over, God has designed you to be a giver, to be a blessing. And let me just say this, we are not blessed so that we can hold our blessings in. It's not about getting a million followers and making all this money. Six, seven, eight figures that they tell you you can make on Instagram and Clubhouse and all that. It's not even about us. It's not about you. We are supposed to be channels. We are supposed to flow. Whatever God's given us is what we're supposed to turn around and give out. It's not about stuff stacking up our own blessings. It's that we're blessed and financially prosperous so that we can turn around and help somebody out. You know, how can you help somebody who doesn't have anything if you don't have anything? Right? God puts desires and passions on the inside of us that help to lead us and spur us onto the right path. We all have gifts and talents that, that are just there that God put in there. But God is the one who put them there. And he put them there for a reason, for a purpose. Then number two, Habakkuk two two says, then write it down. You gotta make it plain. It's gotta be very, very detailed. What does it look like? Who's involved? When will this take place? How much money will it take? What do you need to do to prepare? Do you need schooling? Do you need training? What about this? What do you need to stop doing to make it happen? Come on, somebody. What do you need to stop, stop spending, stop going out to the bars and the clubs and wasting time with people who aren't going to support you and who are not a part of your God given vision. If you don't know where you're going, how will you ever get there? Listen, thank God for Siri and Google Maps. Who can somebody say thank God? How did we ever get anywhere before maps? But listen, the destination, Listen, this is a word for somebody. The destination has to be put in first before you get the route. My God in heaven. Woo. You know what that is? That's my Hammond B3 playing behind me. The destination has to be put in first before you ever get the route. You got to know where you are going. We have to keep our eyes on the prize set before us. Oh, you better text somebody and tell them they missing it. Motivation is a human problem because we want to see right now instant results. We're impatient, we're fickle, we're wishy washy. And the Bible says the just shall live by faith. And without faith, it's impossible to please God. There will come a time when you have to get up, even when you don't feel like it. You have to get up early and stay up late. You got to put in the work, shout put in the work. You got to press and you got to keep pressing even when you don't see it, even when you're tired, even when everybody around you is naysayers and saying it cannot happen. I heard a story the other day about the bumblebee. Do you know that physically the bumblebee is not even supposed to be able to fly because it's so fat. But nobody told the bumblebee that it can't fly, so it does it anyway. Come on. It don't matter what people say. It doesn't matter if people say that you can't do this or you'll never achieve that. If God has stopped a word over your life. Whoa. You can take that to the bank. Jeremiah 1:12 says, you have seen correctly. For I watch over. Whoo. I watch over my word to accomplish it. So if God has said you are the head and not the tail, you are the righteousness of God in Christ. You are chosen, you are royal, you are an overcomer. Going to be a business owner, married and not sin, single. Listen, it doesn't matter what it looks like all around you right now. It doesn't matter what your situation and your circumstances look like. You have to see your future. Get this. You have to see your future through eyes of faith. And you keep that fighting spirit John 15:7 says, if you abide in me and my words abide in you, ye shall ask anything that you will, and it will be done unto you. Herein. As my Father glorified that you bear much fruit, so shall ye be my disciples. Listen. God gets the glory by seeing you succeed. But there was an if. If you abide in me and my words. Come on. If you abide in me, and if my words abide in you, well, you have to have the word, the vision, the plan, then you have to abide in him, live in him. Every breath you take has to be from him. Everything you do, every move you make. It can't be your plan, your way. It has to be God's plan and God's way. Listen, he has nothing but good days planned for you. How do you know that? Hope? Glad you asked. Jeremiah 29:11. For I know the plans I have for you. These are God's plans, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you a hope, to make you excited and a future. God does not have one bad day planned for you. Somebody needs to type that in the comments. Somebody needs to text somebody and say, God does not have one bad day planned for you. God is not in heaven sprinkling fairy dust on us. He's a covenant God who cooperates with our obedience. He's an if. Then God let me prove it. Proverbs 2:1 5, says, My son, if that's the condition, you receive my words, and if you treasure my commands within you. To what extent? So that you incline your ear to wisdom and apply your heart to understanding. Yes. If you cry out for discernment, and if you lift up your voice for understanding. If condition you seek her as silver, seek wisdom, and if you search for her as hidden treasures, then this is the result of meeting the condition. You will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge in God. I'm about to run all over this studio right now. Romans 10:9. That if condition you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and if you believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, then it's the result you will be saved. Did you hear that note that salvation comes after the condition is met. Repentance and the acknowledgement of Christ as Lord is mandatory, not optional. You cannot come to faith in him any other way. Are you getting this? You need more proof. Matthew 6, 14 and 15. For if condition, your action, your responsibility. Ooh, y' all not gonna like this one. You forgive men their trespasses then the result. Your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if condition, your action, your responsibility, you do not forgive men their trespasses, then neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Oh, somebody say it's tight, but it's right. Tight, but it's right. John 15:10. If you keep my commandments, then you will abide, rest, dwell. That's what that word means. Rest, dwell, make your home in my love. Just as I have kept my Father's commandments, and I abide in his love, how do I rest and abide in the love of Christ? And how can I experience the abiding presence of that love, like Jesus that he had with the Father? By meeting the the if condition of the if. Then promise who? Come on, somebody. I am preaching this word tonight. If you make the most High your dwelling, even the Lord, who is my refuge, then no harm will befell you. No disaster will come near your tent. Psalm 91. Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow, they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. If. Come on, somebody, put if, if, if, if. If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the best from the land. Isaiah 1:18 and 19. If only you had paid attention to my commandments. Whoo. Your peace would have been like a river, your righteousness like the waves of the sea. Isaiah 48. Let me say that one again. Listen, if you need peace in your life, if only you had paid attention to my commands, your peace would have been like a river, flowing peace, your righteousness like the waves of the sea. Do I need to keep going? Do I? God wants us to be successful, to have a good life. He said he knows the plans that not you have for you, that he has for you, and they're good plans. He has good plans for your life. But we have to keep ourselves motivated and walk by faith and keep our end of the covenant. We can't live any old way. Go wherever we want to go. Hang out with Freaky Freddy, hang out with anybody and expect God to be a genie in a bottle that we just wave a magic wand over and get all our dreams met. No, if you want success, you gotta do it God's way. Oh, he loves you so much. He wants you to achieve the goals and dreams that he placed in your heart way more than you do. So, number one, what has God placed inside of you? How are you unique and talented and gifted? Where is your place in the world? What gap do you feel? And number two, you gotta get a vision for It. Number three, you gotta write it down, make it plain. And four, you gotta start making faith steps. You gotta be teachable. Get a coach, get a mentor, take a class, read the Bible, learn some scripture. And number five, you gotta abide in him. You gotta stay close. Don't ever veer off that path. He is the breath that you breathe. And we cannot do anything without the Lord. If you want success, you gotta do it God's way. Listen, as long as you got a pulse, you got a purpose. Did you hear me? As long as you have a pulse, you have a purpose. You gotta do it God's way. I want to see you live your best life. Is it always easy? Does that mean living your best life? There's never trouble and trials and tribulation. No, don't say I said otherwise. I've had more trials and tribulations and trouble in my life. But listen, the old adage, the old saying, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. And it does. God will use every one of those trials, tests, tribulations to make you stronger, to see if you can pass the test to go to the next level. Come on, somebody. When you are in school, that's exactly what you have to do, is you have to pass a test before you can get to the third grade. You have to pass the test in the sixth grade before you get to the seventh grade. You got to pass a high high school exit exam before you get to transition to the next level of college. It's the same way in the spirit, are you being faithful and taking those faith steps and doing everything you know to do. Write the vision down, make it plain so that everybody around you will be able to push you and run with you in this vision. I love you so much and I want to see you succeed. Listen, God wants to see you succeed more than I want to see you succeed and more than you want to see yourself succeed. What is success anyway? It's being everything that God has called you to be in this one life that you have. Let me pray for you. Oh, thank you, Jesus. Oh, thank you, Jesus, for your word. Thank you for clear instructions for our life. And help us, God, to do everything that we can do to be everything you've called us to be in Jesus name. Amen. Until next time.
