Ummasking Evil in Our Generation with Guest: Jonathan Mendoza | Ron + Hope: Unfiltered

Ron Carpenter and Jonathan Mendoza discuss spiritual warfare and the church's role in confronting evil through intercession and prayer. They reference recent violent attacks on Christians and claim a 730% increase in crime targeting churches and Christian campuses, calling pastors to restore demonstrations of the Holy Spirit and train intercessors in their congregations.

Hey guys, it's Ron and Hope. Real raw and relevant. Is totally unfiltered. This ain't Hope, sir. I love you, Jonathan, but hopes a lot prettier than you are. So I agree. I knows that it's not Hope right now, but Jonathan, Pastor Jonathan Rather is the pastor of our Spanish church here on the west coast. I'm a full blown Spanish church. Inherited it when I got here because Pastor Osbaldo and Pastor Dick Bernal had long had this third service in the afternoon where it was our Spanish speaking service. And now you have followed in the footsteps of Pastor Osbaldo and now you are leading them and doing a fabulous job. And so whenever I can't have Hope around, I just handpicked some of the guys. Thank you, sir. Me right here and come in and let you have some time with me. This is usually, you know, banter. I call it banter. I saw them, they're call it usually me and Hope kind of going back and forth with each other. People have really enjoyed learning that side of us because that's kind of the really the way we are. We're at home, she's in the kitchen, or we, we're doing what we do or we're on trip. That's kind of the way we are with each other. We're always kidding, going back and forth. But I am doing this podcast literally on the heels. Yeah. Of finding out that Charlie Kurt not only just, you know, was shot, but I just find that he has passed away. And so it is hard to be witty and to have banter when you just see things senseless that are going on in our generation. So here's what I'm going to do. I'm going to take this and it's not going to be fun and funny. Today I'm going to speak, I'm going to call some things out and I'm going to call it as I said. I even told Pastor Jonathan before I got in here, I said, look, I'm going to call some things out and it's going to be pretty strong. And I said, you don't have to sit here with me if you don't want to. And he said, no, I'd like to join in. I'm 26 years older than Charlie Kirk and I do know, politics aside, and I do say politics aside, I'm going to tell you why I am an anomaly. Everybody wants you to go to a corner and you can't go into a political corner. Number two reasons. Number one, I don't believe in it, I believe I'm a part of a different government, a part of a kingdom. People preach it, but they really don't believe it because let something happen that challenges, you know, their political vantage point, their party, their ethnicity, their community, that we run back to those classifications. Those are earthly classifications, not understanding. If you've been born again, you belong to a whole other nation. You're a whole other nationality. I don't believe that those. That those sociologic and economic divisions even exist anymore. I'm very radical in those beliefs. But if you challenge me on them, I believe I could support them. From Genesis to Exodus. The first thing God told Abraham, when he said, I'm going to make thee a great nation, he said, you've got to come out. You got to come out. You got to come out. He said, you got to come out of your country, you got to come out of your family, and you got to come out of your father's house. And everybody talks about what God wants to take us into, but nobody talks about what you've got to come out of and coming out of your country. Basically, he was pointing to his ethnicity, coming out of his family. He was basically talking about a sociological classification of people. Lower class, lower middle class, poverty line, upper class. All these earthly classifications we stick people in so we can market them properly. And then he said, you got to come out of your father's house, which is. You got to break the generational curses held your bloodline at bay. When you come out of these three things, I will make you a great nation. So when God allowed me to be born again and come into his chosen generation, peculiar people, a holy nation, I left all my earthly classifications, and I will not let anybody put me in a corner. I don't have any earthly classifications. I don't look at you and say, there's my Mexican pastor. I don't think you see me coming down the hall and say, there's my white friend. You're Jonathan, you know, and so I am one of those anomalies. Pastor Jonathan, I'm going to let you talk because Charlie Kirk basically was speaking your generation.
Yeah.
And when you're an anomaly, you don't fit. Unlike most pastors, most pastor people like them live a certain way and of a certain political persuasion. And their church is full of their political persuasion. It's never been that way with Ron Carpenter. I have to walk a whole nother set of lines. I have to go by a whole nother set of rules. But because I probably pastor the most diverse church, maybe in the world. I bet you over half of the earth and every country on it is probably represented in this building on any given Sunday. I agree. I not only have many different cultural I have communists, I have socialists, I have people coming from every other country. I have capitalists, I have Republican political. I have people that are libertarian. I have people that have served under kings from Africa. I have people that have been in kingdoms. I have people that have been where they had to have Bible studies underground, right in my church. I have people, Indians who are Hindus. And when you say there is no other name given among men, you offend the crap out of them because they believe Jesus is one of them, not the only one. When you say Jesus, I have this whole another group of people that most people will not know what it's like because they just get to get up there and spew how they were raised and what they believed. But I am dealing with the minds and the mindsets of people from all over the globe who've been indoctrinated not only with different political views, but with different religions, different faiths. And my calling is just different. I don't think everybody can do that. I have personal feelings and personal convictions that run deep, but I got enough sense to know who I'm ministering to and usually try to be wise in how to do that. And basically, no matter where you're from, start right there and take you to the cross. That's where I'm trying to take you. But just. I know my son Chaz, always loved to hear him talk about his faith on college campuses. And I know it's a subdued feeling around here because most of my staff is your age. And everybody's walking around here feeling a little bit like they just got kicked in the gut. Because I want to talk not about the politics of it. I know what the politics are already. I can tell you where that's going because people think if I can get to the politics of it, then you can control what's happening. But where I started this past Sunday is it's something much higher in politics. There's a spirit.
Yes, sir. Exactly.
And when you get on here and say, pray for so and so, they'll mock you about praying. But the fact is, we don't wrestle flesh and blood, and people don't get that.
They don't.
That's not what we're wrestling. That's not what's happening here. And any military knows you have to take the air before you can take the ground. So the greatest thing I can do is start pushing back in an unseen realm and eventually it will trickle down into the seen realm. But you can say we're praying for so and so, and people get on there and make fun of you as though, you know, that's all you're going to do. Well, I'm not a policeman.
Yeah.
I'm not in the military. I'm a man of God.
Yes, sir.
I'm going to God.
Yes, sir.
And I'm going to basically pull rank on everybody.
Yeah.
When I go straight to him.
Yes, sir.
Who can affect it all. But I just wanted you to maybe from your perspective, you know, you're. I saw you when you walked in. You look like somebody punched you. You know, what do you see happening in your generation? Because I'm about to call out the pastors. I ain't got a ton of friends anyway, and I'm already, I mentioned up close to 60. I really don't care no more. But I'm going to call some stuff out because the church has got to bear some responsibility in the evil that is prevailing in our society. We've got to bear some responsibility. And everybody wants to get up there and take a political view. There's something much more heinous than politics going on here. But our pastors will not awaken the people to what's going on because it messes up our church services.
It does.
I have kids your age. From your vantage point, you see evil trying to be passed off as normal.
Yeah.
How does that affect you, man?
Well, I mean. Well, thanks again for allowing me to be here and just to have this conversation. I know. If I may, Pastor, I know right before we came in here, it was very somber, and I know you were whispering a prayer under your breath and so was I. Would you mind if we did that right now? Because I think there's so much power in what you just said. We must take the air before we take the ground. And I think they always send in.
The air force before they send in the ground troops because they've got to take the air. And if they take the air, then it's much easier to take the ground. And we think that more cops or more security or more social programs, depending on which political side you follow, are going to stop all this stuff. This is. This is demonic.
It is 100%.
You can't give it medicine.
You can't go around it.
You can't give it medicine. You can't police demonic.
No, you can't.
You don't have enough security against demonic. But we've got a church culture that does not awaken people to spiritual reality. We want a 50 minute service, we want to give you a T shirt, we want the coffee to be right and it's going to be polished and we don't want to anyway upset you before you leave.
Before you leave.
And then because it's such a feel good thing and everybody wants to get away from their life and feel good. I've always said this and I'm calling it out. The buildings are full and the money is flowing. So pastors that know they need to awaken people to a spiritual reality refuse to do it because it may upset the flow. So true. And you know, I don't care if I lose some friends after this. I'm just at the point where I'm like, man, we have got to pull back the shroud, the shrine, the veil over the heavenlies and let people know we are fighting principalities, powers, rulers of darkness, spiritual wickedness in heavenly places. And it says, do not be unaware of the wiles or the schemes of the enemy.
Come on, the enemy.
And I believe we've got a whole church generation that is so unaware. Why I don't blame them. I blame the people on the stage because Jesus said students become like their teacher. And if the people out there don't know, it's because the people in here won't say anything about it. I keep trying to tell you talk and I keep talking stubby, but lead us in a prayer because just over our nation and especially over our youth, man, our schools and our campuses. I don't know what's going on, but it seems like I said before we started, crime is up in churches and Christian campuses. 730%. Not 7%, not 27. 730%. You know, let's pray about it then. Let's talk about how it's affecting us then I'm going to end with making a call on two groups of people.
Let's do it, Father God. We just lift up our nation, God.
And lift them up.
And we pray for mercy, pray for mercy across America. Lord, Lord, we thank you that you now use this moment to open the eyes of your church, Lord, Father God, that we're not battling against flesh and blood, but Lord, something in the air, the principalities, the schemes of the enemy, Lord. So we just pray that America awakens to the fact, Lord. Yes, God, that we are from a kingdom and you have given us kingdom keys, Father God. To unlock, to bind, to loose, Lord. And we just pray in the air Right now, God, in the name of Jesus, by the power of the Holy Spirit, God, we pray for blood. We plead the blood over America. We plead God the name of Jesus over us. We play in the name of Jesus that no weapon formed against your church and your people will prosper. But in that God, we pray and we call out Father God, those people who may be not walking in the understanding that you, Father God reign. Yes, but God, that we have to also speak the truth. God. Father, I pray for mercy for those people that may feel hurt and in this painful time that they are also celebrating this moment. God, we pray for mercy for them for they know not what they do. God, they know not what they do. And maybe they are hurt and maybe they do feel pain for this. But Lord, in that we pray mercy awaken them as well to understand, God, that no moment can just approve of something so inhumane like this. God. So we just thank you Lord that you are awakening like apostle just said. Father, we just declare, we take the air right now. In the name of Jesus.
In the name of Jesus.
In the name of Jesus. We thank you God, that you've given us the authority to Father God to take and hold Father God the keys of the kingdom. And Lord, we just call out in the name of Jesus, Father God, that revival becomes across America. But help us God, people on the pulpit. Help us God, to communicate the truth, to not be afraid, Father God to speak the truth in love God understanding that there is a commission God to bring the kingdom of God in this earth. In Jesus name I pray.
Amen.
Amen. Amen.
How does it affect you? Does it make you feel vulnerable?
I think so. I think the vulnerability feels in the fact that there's a whole generation that is seeing these things like never before. Number one, either becoming desensitized to it, number two, celebrating some of it. And number three, not knowing what to do with the information. And I think that's where the vulnerability feels. As I know I'm younger than you in this and I'm also being a communicator. But I never want to be that guy from a pulpit who is not communicating the truth, not allowing people to understand that this is beyond what we're seeing in the natural. And I think that it's just a very eye opening moment. And I, who lead Spanish Hispanic people, I was just getting tons of DMs because I was posting some things and.
Tons of DMs with varied political beliefs.
They do.
With very, very political beliefs.
Yeah.
When you have all those different People from. You have so many different Latino people from different situations and circumstances. So they see a political thing and they see a cultural thing from different vantage points. How do you walk that? Because you got some people that are probably hard line. You know, I think you should come here this way. Well, I think we should have mercy and grace, you know, and they're all in the same building. And people who don't. Pastor that don't know what it's like to try to take both groups and say Jesus is the one that breaks the dividing wall according to Ephesians 2 and thus making the two peace. That's what I'm trying to do with everybody. Jesus is the wall breaker. And we got so many walls. I mean there's so many walls between each other. You know, I pastor people on every political spectrum. They say, well, you know Charlie Kirk, man, he was a hard line conservative. And I don't believe like that. Pastor. I don't want anybody to get shot in the neck.
Exactly.
I don't want somebody who worships in a Satan worship, Satan worship temple to get executed in front of 2,000 people. Anybody. I don't want that to happen. Here's my thing and I usually only take a half hour and we're about two thirds through that here. I want to get to my point and don't get mad if I talk more than you.
It's okay.
This Sunday, this past Sunday. For those of you that want to go see it and hear it. We have thousands of people that attend Redemption too. Like other churches have thousands of people, but we do every Sunday what they say can't be done. We have a script, but we have a script that can be thrown in the trash at any moment. We have a click track that a worship team can abandon at any moment. We have a production that we can press pause on at any moment. So I believe in the excellence of a modern day gospel presentation, but never at the expense of the genuine move and power of God. Paul said, I do not come with you with wise and persuasive words of man's wisdom, but in power and demonstration of the Holy ghost.
Come on.
100. All I feel like we have now is wise and persuasive words. Words of wisdom on relationships, words of wisdom on personal success, words of wisdom on prosperity, words of wisdom on how to keep a friend, words of wisdom on how to come back from grief. That's all we have. I don't go to any churches and see power and demonstration of the Holy Ghost. What just happened at your Last society meeting, what was laying all over this altar?
There was vapes, drug paraphernalia, drug paraphernalia.
Drugs, actual drugs. I don't care. Say anything. We had people throwing drugs up here. We had full blown deliverance. We had people laying on the floor, we had people shaking. We had people that were being freed from the power of Satan and demonic spirits. This past Sunday, I talked about the spirit of Leviathan, where it said, whose scales are so close that he will not allow ruach in. Ruach means spirit. He won't allow any air, any spirit in. I talked about breaking the spirit of Leviathan. And I went through this whole thing of understanding the spirit realm, how every spirit has. When you begin to understand the fruit, you know the name. Because every tree, basically, you know a tree by its fruit.
Yeah.
And even how Jesus, when they couldn't cast the devil out after he came off the mount of transfiguration, Jesus said, what's he doing? What's going on? Often he throws himself into the fire. Often he throws himself in the water. He tries to destroy himself. When Jesus knew the fruit, he got the name. And he said, thou deafens, dumb spirit. Come out. Come out. So I did it again last night. I did it Saturday night before church. I did it again last night. I have movie channels. Condemn me if you want to. I don't have all of them, but I got some movie channels and I went through the movie channels. I don't know, maybe 30 channels I got. And I counted about five every. Conjuring, witchcraft, seances, coming back from the dead, evil spirits, demons. Five out of every. The comedies, the romances, the action were all in. The other five, the first five were all demonic. Well, the church needs to talk about the demonic and the power of the anointing that will destroy the yoke of the demonic and set you free. Hollywood has no problem talking about the demonic. The church won't talk about either one.
Yeah, truth.
It's upsetting.
It really is.
Pastor. We don't want that. We don't want that. We want community and we want you to feel good and we don't want anybody to be upset and this and that and other. And our schools are getting shot up, our churches are getting shot up. Our faith is under attack. We got all these things. You know, one of the biggest calls that I'm having from pastors now is do you know who can help us with security? 20 years ago, I never got a call about security. Now they're not asking me about my children's program. They're not asking me about student ministry. They're not asking me, how are you ministering to the Spanish speaking community? They're asking me, can you help me with security? What are y' all doing? And we've embraced that as normal. We just live in a world where an attack on our faith is normal. Jesus did prophesy these days. He did.
Yes, sir, he did.
He said, they hated me. They're going to hate you, too. But like, you know the girl who got stabbed. Okay, I know the politics of that already, okay? You're going to have law and order on one side and you're going to have social injustice on the other side. So there go the politics. Here is a man that never got the help he needed, and here is a girl that is dead. But let's go to the political realm, because that's our effort to fix it. Never has, never will. Now, Charlie Kirk just got shot. I know. I have heard that. He had about 15 minutes of talk on his faith, then the second question was about trans. That's when he got shot. That's what I've heard. I don't know if it's true. Don't fact check me. That's just what I've heard. Okay, now, so I know what the political debates are going to be, okay? Transgishrom, LBGTQ rights. And then the other one is going to be, you know, it's also going to be probably guns. Yeah, there's going to be some guns. This, that and other. So these are all. So they're swirling now to get their political arguments in order. And I'm sitting there screaming, wait a minute, this is a demon. The spirit, this is a demon. But we don't have a place where you can go to our church people and say, this is what they have no knowledge because they've not been exposed to it. And I'm wondering, do the pastors not know themselves or do they know and just don't want to bring it into the church realm? Because I am telling you, there is a master of puppets unseen behind everything that is going on in our natural realm. Then when something terrible happens, when somebody walks in a Catholic school and shoots up the kids and Ron Carpenter post on there, man, my heart goes out and I'm praying. There was a bunch of people got in my thread and started mocking me because I was praying, okay? I don't know if I've said it before or during the podcast because I'm aggravated and I'm wound up. So I'll say it Again, if we've already said it, I said, you got to take the air before you take the ground. So the greatest thing I can do is recognize something very evil has just happened, which means there is something going on up there I can't see. So prayer is how I engage the unseen realm. And knowing how to declare and how to pray and how to intercede, I can begin to push back darkness. If you get rid of darkness and break its power in the unseen realm, you will stop its activity in the seen realm. For instance, my main thing has always been breaking walls of racism. I went into the Deep south in 1991. Deep South. I was in the county that was in the last state to embrace an MLK holiday. I thought that was a bad thing. And my county was the last county in the last state. So with the information I've got, I lived in the very last county America, that embraced an MLK holiday. Okay? Now I go into that county and start preaching multiculturalism and what the kingdom is supposed to look like. I start telling people to come out of black, white, yellow, red, brown, come out of all this mess and enter this new nation God is bringing you into with this new set of keys that you've been given to enter the heavenlies and have the keys of the king. So I start preaching that listen. And I had these Saturday night things where I would go pray till all hours in the morning. That was when I had a whole lot more energy. And I would pray till I would lose my voice. I don't mean go kneel down and I mean praying like a wild man. If you would have thought I was fighting shadows, if you would have walked in and saw me, and I would go in there at 11 o' clock after the kids in bed. And I stayed until 3:30 in the morning before I'm going to go in Church. At 6 or 7 I go back and take a nap, take a shower and go in. And I mean literally till I was hoarse praying and declaring. And I went into the heavenlies and came against the spirit behind racism for eight years before I ever saw an African American walk in my building.
Wow. Wow.
Eight years. Every Saturday night dialing in, determined to bring that thing down. Eight years intercession. Nobody saw me. Nobody pays you and nobody cares.
Yeah, but there's a principle.
But I had to go take the air before it ever entered my building. Then when it broke, it broke big. And I became the pastor of probably for the next five to 10 years of one of the largest black congregations in the whole southeastern United States, because my congregation became very heavily, probably about 65, 70% African American. So everybody looks at. Came from near and far to look at it because it was such a miracle. But what they don't know is they weren't flying in there and looking at it when my congregation was all white and I was praying all night on Saturday night, pushing back the forces of darkness and calling out those demonic principalities that were controlling that area, causing the mindsets of the people to be rigid in that way. People do what they do because they think like they think.
Yeah, yeah.
What. What are demonic principalities? Liars.
Yeah.
What is Satan, the father of lies?
Come on.
And what are strongholds when people believe a lie to be true? So you got to pull down the strongholds, the lies. You got to push back the forces of darkness with intercession. And all these things have to be done. And sometimes. And you understand, you're not going to go. You're not going to ride into a city and pray two weeks and break down a principality that's been there 100 years.
Come on. That's the truth right there.
There are principalities that are ruling, especially coastal regions with all kind of heinous and perverted things for a century. And we don't understand how we going to have two prayer meetings and going, you know, I'm going to bind the spirit of San Francisco. The spirits in San Francisco have been perched in San Francisco controlling the mindsets and the godliness and the Antichrist that goes on there. Been there for decades, if not centuries. And it's going to take somebody coming against it and come like chopping down a tree coming, and the tree will fall. But somebody's got to get in the trenches and push it back.
Fervent prayer.
What say you on some of the comments I've said right then? Because I'm getting ready to make a call out on two people.
Yeah. Yes, sir. I would say one thing, I think that you, you just mentioned now, but. But before that, just to address, because youth and young adults and young people want to quickly see things. So I would just say to protect. Protect your eyes through the window of your soul. And I think when things tragedies like this, right away, people want to go watch it go see. And right before, right before we got on here, you were like, I don't want to go see that.
People ask me, have I seen? I said, no, I don't want to see that. I don't want to see a man get shot.
And I think this generation needs to Understand that principle.
That's not normal to see somebody get shot. But we're trying to normalize it.
Exactly. So I would just, you know, speaking to all the young people out there, just guard your soul, protect your soul, because if you open your eyes to that and. And. And then you wonder, why am I desensitized to hatred, to all that kind of stuff.
So the girl that got stabbed, I didn't want to watch that. When, when the. When the. When the policeman had his. Had his knee on George Floyd's neck. I didn't want to watch that.
Exactly.
Everybody's like, if you say, no, I don't want to see it. I don't want to see that. Because you're right. The eyes, the lamp of the body. And the Bible says, what the eyes full of, the whole body's full of.
Come on. Yeah.
And Ecclesiastes 10 said, I'll allow no wicked thing before my eyes. So, you know, I'm very careful as to what I watch. But here's the thing. I'm not going to let you make it normal to me to see people get killed, shot, destroyed, you know, right in front of our family. I don't want to watch that because I'm never going to embrace that as normal. I'm going to fight it. I'm going to fight it. And I'm asking people to get out of your community thought, you know, even your church thought, and your political thought and this and that and other. And understand we are not wrestling politics and people. When you see what people say and do, that is the end result of what's going on. So you're fighting. You're not fighting the source, you're fighting the symptom.
Yeah.
By the time people think a certain way and act a certain way, the spirit's work is already finished. By the time you get to my fruit of the spirit, that is a completed work of the spirit of God in my life. Yeah, that's true. So if I'm kind, the spirit of God's been working a long time, working in it. If I'm patient, he's been working a long time. If I finally got that fruit hanging on my tree, if there's murder, that spirit's been working a long time. If there's racism, that spirit's been working a long time. Do you see what I'm talking about? And so whatever it is, we've got to understand, there's got to be a generation that is taught again how to intercede. There used to be, when I was coming Up. We had prayer nights. We had intercession nights. Now, I'm not talking about prayer. I'm calling on intercessors. And those of you who are intercessors, you know what I'm talking about. There is a group of people that nobody knows and they never get heralded, they never get on stage that they know how to get in the bowels of intercession and they know how to push, they know how to travail, they know how to war, they know how to get in, they know how to fight evil, they know how to push back the forces and the gates of darkness. They know how to do that and God is with them to do that. And they know how to intercede and they understand the power of one person can make a difference.
Yes, sir.
And there's an army of intercessors out there that nobody knows. And I'm calling on you to get more active than ever before. And I'm going to have to go back into some of these Saturday night, late night things and just understand that instead of me praying for my church and praying for my community, I'm going to have to start praying at large for things that are trying to destroy a generation. Secondly, I'm calling on you pastors who just abandoned spiritual reality. Paul said, I come with power and demonstration. When is the last time you had or would allow any type of demonstration at all? Most of the churches that I would go to now, if there was any type of manifestation of the spirit of God, it would wreck the whole night. I have had pastors pick me up in my car and all the way to the service ask me please not to do things. I'm asking you not to lay hands on people tonight. I'm asking you when you do it, please don't call this out. If you would tonight, please don't pray in tongues. By the time I get there, I'm like, why did you invite me?
Why did you bring me here?
Yeah, why did you invite me? Because these things are not what I do. That's who I am.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
You have neutered who I am. I mean, so you want me to come with wise words of man's wisdom, but you don't want me to have any power and demonstration of the Holy Ghost. The Bible said that the end time church would be ever learning but never coming to the knowledge of the truth. We have never had more information, never had smarter pastors, never had more savvy leaders than we have right now. But I had a pastor of one of the largest churches in the Southeast. A while back, call me and ask me. He said, well, I don't know what's going on in my church. And when he got through, I said, I looked at him, I said, that's a Jezebel spirit. He looked at me and said, a who? This guy's got a very successful church. He had never heard the term Jezebel spirit. And the Jezebel spirit is the spirit that hates leadership.
Wow.
He's fighting and has no knowledge or recognition of even what he's fighting. Paul said, we are not like those who swing at the air.
Yeah, come on. Come on.
I was like, wow. He could not have a conversation with me about the very spirit that tries its best to take God's leaders out. He's being taken out and don't know what's happening. This is a big church. Big church. Built a massive campus on the interstate in cash. I mean, if I said the name, everybody go. That's where we are. And so evil prevails. Praise God. If we get more police, Praise God. If you got a social program that'll get a kid off the praise God. But that's not where the battle starts. The battle starts with pastors awakening people to the reality of evil in high places. If you can destroy that, this will stop.
Exactly.
So don't make fun of it when we say pray. Maybe go learn about it. If you don't understand intercession, go to YouTube and listen to some of the guys from the 80s and 90s who know all about intercession.
Yeah.
If you don't know how to break the power of demonic strongholds over people, it's all over. But the problem is you got to go back two generations to hear it. Yeah, because nobody talk about that anymore. But evil continues to advance because God's people don't know how to fight. So intercessors intercede. And this new generation of pastors, you need to open your mind of the spiritual realities while the enemy tries its forceful advance to the doors of your church.
We gotta awaken.
We've got to have an awakening. You gotta quit being scared of the Holy Spirit. You gotta quit being scared of letting the spirit of God move. And if you've never been around that and you're not acquainted with it, you need to go find somebody who is. Because I'm telling you something, if you don't take the battle to the enemy, the enemy's going to bring the battle to you.
Yeah. It's time.
So in Jesus name, Lord, seal up these words and let it impact and move to whoever it's supposed to move to. In Jesus name. This is Ron and Hope. Real, raw and relevant, unfiltered. We'll get Hope back. Maybe laugh a little bit next week, but just a real somber mood here today as we just continue to be seeing so much evil that are prevailing in our society. And the people of God have got to go into the courts of heaven in prayer and overcome this thing.
Yes, we do.
And it can be done. Because greater.
Come on.
Is he that is in me than he that is in this world.
Come on.
So we love you guys. And until next week, it's running Hope, unfiltered. Real, raw and relevant. We'll be back here together. God bless you. We love you.
