You SHOULD POST MORE!

Idalia Salsamendi, a PR and talent manager with 20 years of experience, teaches creators how to build sustainable social media strategies instead of burning out. Posting more doesn't work; what works is clear positioning, searchable content, and the "4 E's": Essence, Expansion, Earnings, and Engagement. One client grew from $0 to $25k a month by diversifying income through brand deals, ads, and affiliate programs.

bit of you guys. So now that it is recording, just keep that in mind, um, as we go through the Q&A session and you're on camera. It's a good group of people, you'll be fine, but you did want to get that. All right, so at the end of everything, you guys, I want you to leave here feeling clear, confident, and in control of your online journey. If that sounds like something that you want, give me a thumbs up. You're like, yes, Idalia, I joined this workshop because I want to feel clear and confident I am tired of second-guessing my social media. Like, let's get to work. Let's make this happen. Amazing. So let's get to work and let's make this happen. Pull up your notebook and your pen. I want you to write down your top pain right now as a creator, as a business owner, as an entrepreneur, when it comes to social media. Like, you know that if you solved this one problem, everything else would fall in line. You know, is it income? Maybe you are not making money off the posts that you're doing. Is it visibility? You're like, Idalia, I put out really good content, but Jesus, like, no one is seeing me. Is it burnout? Do you feel like you've been creating content for so many years now and you're just like, I'm tired, I'm done, I'm burnt out, it's not fun anymore? Is it creative direction? Maybe you don't know what to post. You're being pulled from all over. So write down that one problem, one problem. I'm gonna give you guys 30 seconds. One problem. Let's write this down together. One problem that is like the thorn on your side when you think about social media. Why is this happening to me? It's like that, oh God, if I can answer one, one question, it would be that. All right, give me a thumbs up if you locked in your one problem. This is what we're going to workshop out today. This is what we're going to like get the ball rolling with. Amazing, awesome, guys. So, um, I also want you to write down underneath the problem I am someone committed to my growth and always looking how to better myself in my career. It's a little long, but bear with me because I believe in the power of writing. I'm a millennial, don't kill me for that, but I want us to write the problem and I want us to immediately write that you are someone that is able to solve it. So let's write down, I am someone Committed to my growth and always looking how to better myself and my career. Okay, we wrote that down. We have problem, and we have the commitment that we're making here together. So as we workshop this out, I just want to like give a little blurb on why you should listen to me. Why me? Why now? Why you and me? I've been doing this for over 20 years. I actually started off doing public relations 23 years ago, which is freaking crazy. I'm a dinosaur in this industry. And from there I became a model manager. I managed the likes of superstars like Lucky Blue Smith, Nars' husband, Dua Lipa. Pamela Anderson, Lana Del Rey, Erika Linder, Nikki Hilton. And from there, I really expanded into what we know now as creators, and before they were bloggers. So I was part of Chiara Ferragni's original team. I have worked with Mirena Hewitt. I've worked with Naked Marsali, Sincerely Jules, Christelle Lim, Kaylin Warakomsky, Coco Basie, Jenae Naylor. I mean, If you recognize any of these names here, I have helped them at one point or another in their career. So when we go through this workshop together, I want you to understand that I'm not someone that has a gazillion followers that's telling you how to get gazillion followers. What I dedicated my entire life to has been building creators, building businesses via social media and via public relations. All right. So this isn't like a one-time, yeah, I did a thing. This is formulas that I have done time and time and time again that really has become foolproof at this point. And that is why I'm so excited about this workshop, because you're going to get a taste of that and we're going to workshop this together. So let's go back to your problem. And I want to do a little Q&A moment. All right. I want you to tell me which you think is correct. There's two statements here. There's one that says that if you post more, you're going to grow faster and you're going to make more money. And there's another one that says if you're going to post more, you're going to blend in and you're going to burn out. Now, if you think option number 1, this one, is correct, give me a thumbs up. Oh shit. Oh, there you go. Well, give me a thumbs up regardless. And if you think the second one is correct, Give me a thumbs up now. I kind of, kind of went too fast there, but a common misconception that I'm seeing online right now is that you have to post more. You have to grow fast, you make more money, right? Like I didn't even see like Gary Vee say it all the time, like post every day, post 5 times a day. And the thing is, is that the people that are telling you that normally have a team of 15 people that can edit their videos, that can do the production, that can film them, that can do the thumbnail. Like, of course they're going to tell you to post 15 times a day. They're paying an entire crew. But when we really look at the working class of social media, we don't have that. So I'm working with the majority of the people. I'm not working with the top 1%, like the exceptions to the rule. So that is where I say that if you post more, what's going to end up happening is that you're going to burn out, you're going to blend in. And then what happens, just like anything in life, and I always compare this to the gym, think about it this way. If you go to the gym every day and you're like yes, yes, yes, I'm going to build muscle within 3 months, the chances of you being burned out— I think it's a 98% chance. What I'm here to tell you is that as we go through this workshop, this is about going to the gym 2 or 3 times a week building that muscle and have it be sustainable. I'm talking about longevity. I don't want anyone to ever work with me and feel burnt out after 3 months because they felt like they ran a marathon, they gave it all, and then You know, they fall like an armadillo on the side of a Texas road. All right. So now that we know that, let's dive into what's not working online right now. Right. One of our goals is to find out what is working well. In order to find out what is working, we have to see what's not working. Right now, posting randomly, not being consistent. Chasing trends, not having strategy, and viewing social media as a hobby and not a business. And this is probably the biggest one, guys, because if you're not making money off of social media, I hate to break it to you, but I'm going to rip the Band-Aid within the first 5 minutes here. You're considering it a hobby, not a business. If you were serious about making money on social media, you have to think like a CEO, and you have to think of it as a business. And I tell this all the time to my fashion content creators. I tell this to my real estate agents. I tell this to my interior decorators. I tell this to my, like, gym coaches. It does not matter what niche you're in, social media is the number one form of marketing. If you are not taking advantage of that, I'm so glad you're here. So what is working? Well, clear positioning, searchable content, systems over spontaneity, and content with purpose. And really think about that: clear positioning, searchable content, having a system, having a purpose. We're going to keep diving into this, but in order for you to position yourself for the next wave, I want you to remember the 4 E's. Write this down. 4 E's: Essence, Expansion, Earnings, Engagement. All right, write those 4 things down. I want you to write down biggest things So you gotta have essence, you have to have expansion, you have to have earnings, and you have to have engagement. Now give me a heart if you feel like one of these is hurting for you right now. You're like, Idalia, I'm not growing online. Idalia, I'm not making money right now. Idalia, my engagement sucks. Give me a little heart, a thumbs up, something if you feel like one of these things is like stabbing you and it's one of like, oh, right. Maybe it's more than one. So what is essence? Essence is knowing who and what your archetype is. It's defining your emotional tone. It's having content pillars and it's having a very clear bio. So like, I want you to think who you help, what you help them do, why you're the one. There's different archetypes on social media. If you do not know your archetype like this, then that's a yellow flag. That's a blind spot that you have right now. If you do not know your emotional tone, that's another blind spot. So if you're a content creator, the way that Christelle Lim speaks is not the same way Carolyn Worakomsky speaks, right? Two very different emotional tones. And you have to be clear with your content pillars. And I'm seeing things like, oh, content pillars are dead. No, they're fucking not, guys. I work with Fortune 500 companies. Trust me, content pillars are like the least thing dead right now. You need to know what your areas of focus and expertise is. So think about it this way, and I want you to write down these answers. What is the service that you offer? So are you selling makeup? Are you selling beauty skincare? Are you selling $5 million condos? Are you selling your photography skills? Are you selling your clothes? Are you selling your gym membership? What is it that you are providing? What's your service? So for my services, I, I offer education for creators and founders on social media. That's my service. I'm very clear about that. I am. You like my outfit? Great. I have a little LTK moment, but that's like, it's a little side moment that I have. What's your service? Then I want you to write down who is your content actually attracting right now. So is it moms between the ages of 30 and 45? Is it Idalia Salsamendi? Anybody that has over $1 million and can afford my condos, I welcome them. That is like, that is the people that I'm attracting. Are there people that are interested in their health and want to better themselves? Who is your content attracting? And then I want you to write down for number 3, yes or no, are these the people that are going to pay you? What do I mean by that? If you're a mommy blogger, for example, and you see that a lot of the people that are commenting on your comments are 55-year-old men, maybe that content is not aligned with where you think your service is. And number 4, and we're going to be blunt here, and like, you guys, please be honest with me, yes or no. If someone found your content today, if I went on your Instagram right now, in less than 3 seconds, would I understand the service that you offer? In less than 3 seconds, oop, would I know the service that you offer? Is it undeniably clear? Right? So we're looking at the service you offer, who are the people you're currently attracting, are they providing you some form of revenue or income, and if Idalia Salsamendi went on your Instagram or TikTok right now, within less than 3 seconds, would I immediately know who you are and what service you offer. Because this all goes back to content, and what I have seen is that the number one struggle with founders and creators isn't filming, it's decision fatigue. It's that so many things getting blurred at you, and you're like, well, maybe let me try this. Oh, this looks good. Oh, I can do this Cabrera Carpenter song. Oh, I like— you feel like you're being pulled in a million directions and you don't know what it is that you should do. So more times than not, you have decision fatigue and either you don't do it or you do all of it and you burn out. Give me a thumbs up if this has happened to you. Give me a thumbs up if you're like, Jesus Christ, yes. Like, I find myself looking and being like, okay, well, what do I post now? I'm being told by this person I need to do this song and then I have to have the trending sound and then I need to dance. But then I also have to be serious with them, right? Is it real? Is it care? It's decision fatigue. And I get it. And you guys, the system is rigged. The system is rigged to confuse you. That's why the people on top stay on top, because they have a system that I created. So when we're looking at content, you need to make sure you have a content formula. And this is what I call— you need to know what your evergreens are. What do you know for— where do you get engaged, like the engagement and what's going to impact your business. You also need to have captions that are growth-driven. I'm going to let you in on a little secret here, guys. Search engines like ChatGPT, like Claude, like Google, like Safari look at Instagram and TikTok for answers. So if your captions are still like cute outfit, heart emoji, guess what? You're not going to show up on people's search engine when they are looking for something in particular. So no matter what niche you're in, you have to have growth-driven captions. You also have to understand hooks. Algorithmically, you have 3 seconds for when someone sees your content. If in those 3 seconds they scroll, your content will not be shown and will not be on the explore page. So you have to grab attention fast, and these are done via hooks. You also have to need— you need to have a content planner 2 weeks in advance. This goes back to what's not working. Remember in the beginning that I'm like posting randomly? No, you need to think like a CEO. Bob Iger at Disney is not gonna be like, gee golly, I wonder what Disney's gonna post today. No, They have a 2-month ahead content planner. And just like anything in life, things are fluid. Sometimes things happen, sometimes things, you know, like, yes, but you need to have that system. So the question is not, what am I posting today? The question you now have as a CEO is, what is my content building? We're all muted. So we're not going to sound crazy if we say this out loud, but ask this question out loud to yourself. Ready? 3, 2, 1. What is my content building? I'm here to answer that. With me, we're going to be building your business. Oh, and speaking of building your business earnings, right? Because we got to make money. So we need to be very clear on the brands and clients that are ready to work with you. You need to know how to pitch. You need to know how to implement Meta ads and know when to boost your posts. You gotta have a powerful media kit or press kit, and you can also build on affiliate programs. So it's kind of like the stock market, right? You don't want to put all your eggs in one basket when it comes to social media, and this is one of the biggest things that I work with with my clients. It's how do you diversify? Because when you diversify, you're no longer waiting on one avenue of income. Now you're getting multiple. And for the most part, these are passive, meaning that you're making money while you sleep. And normally when I work with clients, they come to me with like the one golden egg. And I say, that's great. But that one golden egg, if anything ever happens to it, the system collapses. So how do we diversify your streams of income? And the beauty is, is that the system that I use really does not matter what niche you're in or how many followers you have. I was actually working with, um, somebody, and she started with me at 19,000 followers making $0, like zero off of social media. Now she's making over $25,000 a month. This, this. And lastly, engagement. I know some guys, you guys may be asking, well, why is engagement last? Shouldn't it be first? Like, how can you make money if people are not engaged with you? Well, because when you understand that you first have to understand who you are, then you got to post, and when you post, you have to think about business, and then everything else will follow. So with engagement, you need to understand connection over perfection. And this is something that I hear all the time also with my clients. It's like, Idalia, I didn't post because I didn't feel like it was perfect, or I taped it, but like, I wasn't sure, like, is it going to work? Is it not? Like, again, it's that like paralysis that you have because you don't think that it's perfect enough. Give me a heart if you ever felt that, that you've caught yourself not posting or like double-guessing yourself because it wasn't— you thought that it wasn't up to speed with what you thought was good enough. When you realize that social media is about connection, that perfection falls away. That's how engagement works. When you connect, not when you're perfect, but when you connect, when you're here with, with the person, even if you have a million followers, even if you have a thousand. Connect. You have to build feedback loops, cross-pollinate, rinse and repeat what works, and also think about Substack, YouTube, emailers, things that go beyond social media. Again, diversifying your income. So if you haven't guessed, You could probably tell by now that views, or what I call vanity metrics, they don't pay the bills. Systems do. Because sometimes people come to me like, oh my God, Idalia, this video went viral. I go, great, what did it do for your business? Well, I got 1,000 new followers. And great, what did it do for your business? Did it amplify your business? Because the views are not paying your bills. The system does. So let's go back to your worksheet and let's look at the problem. All right. And I want you to answer these 5 questions. We're going to workshop this out together. Looking at your problem, if nothing changes and you keep creating content the way that you are right now, Where do you think you're going to be 6 months from now? Could be like literally 3 words. It could be like, the darn same, burned out. Maybe your answer is a question mark. You don't know where you're going to be. You're like, Idalia, I can't predict the future. I don't know. Then I want you to answer, how much time, energy, and effort have you already put into your content without it turning into consistent income? How long have you been creating content and that has not provided you— keyword here is consistent, consistent income— 6 years, 6 months, 6 hours? Be honest with yourself. How long has it been? Then I want you to write down how much longer are you willing to keep doing that? Another 6 more years are you going to waste? Another 6 more months? Maybe you're not willing to keep doing that much longer. Maybe your answer is zero. I need to change now. And then I want you to write down, are you building a real business or just maintaining an online presence? Think about that. Are you building a business right now, or are you just showing up, crossing your fingers that something happens? So write down real business, or write down online presence. And then let's answer: if you do have the skills, the experience, and the ideas, what is it actually costing you to not be monetizing them properly? What is it costing you? Is it costing you time? Is it costing you energy? Is it costing you your patience, time away from family? Is it costing you the belief that you can succeed? What is it costing you? The fear of like, God, if this doesn't work, I'm gonna have to go back to my 9 to 5. God, if this doesn't work, I'm gonna have to go back to that company and be hired by them instead of having my own photography studio. What is it costing you? Because everything that we spoke about today is part of the framework that I teach, and it's called the Prestige Path. And I literally write it right here. It takes you from commodity to CEO. And the 4 E's, these are the steps, guys. That's it. It's all about essence. How to stand out and be undeniably clear that when someone goes into your social media, they know who you are, they trust you. How do you expand on that? How do you create content that doesn't burn you out? How do you create content that gets you revenue? And once you're there, how are you making real money, consistent money online? And having the writer dies with you, having the people that really believe in what you say. I don't care if you're selling me a $200 skirt or a $2 million condo, or a $2,000 photography session, or a $2,000 yoga retreat in Bali? How do you build that community? Because if you don't have that community, your business is not going to be sustainable, your page is not going to be sustainable. So that struggle, that one problem, do you understand now how we can solve it together? How I can teach you my framework. So this is what I'm doing this summer. The Catalyzer is 10 weeks. We're going to supercharge it. You're going to have 4 live sessions with me. You're going to have a bonus Q&A portal where you and I can chat, ask me your questions. You're going to have 300+ minutes of on-demand videos with me. 80+ videos of on-demand audio sessions, downloadable worksheets, templates, theories, and I'm bringing in my team of experts so that you feel padded. Chriselle Lim, the founder of Fleur, Risa Lake, the vice president of LTK, Chase Ledger, the vice president of PR for Polène. He was previously at Dior and Armani, because I understand that everybody works and grasps information differently. So you have the live sessions, but you can also listen to me while you're in the subway or in the car. You can also watch the video sessions with me on a Sunday when the kids are taking a nap, or maybe after work. If we put all of this together, it'll cost $13,100. Don't sign off right now. Don't sign off. Don't sign off. It's not that. It's not that. It's not that. All of this, guys, is $5,000. But because we're doing this workshop today, you're going to get a special price of $3,500. All right. So the Catalyzer, like how I said, you can do it in a cohort setting. That's where you're going to get the 4 live sessions with me. You're going to get the guest experts, you're going to get the bonus Q&A session, you're going to have private community access, you're going to have those live replays, you're going to have a 7-day risk-free free trial. We have a payment plan available for you guys. This is it, and this is only going to be live within the next 48 hours. If not, the price goes back up to $5,000. And if you're one of those like, I like studying on my own, I like doing my things, Idalia, I don't think I need to speak with you, well then, for the first time, we're opening the doors for our self-study session so you can learn on your own pace. There's no live sessions, there's no guest mentors, but you're getting all the audio sessions, you're getting all the video sessions, you're getting the worksheets, the templates, and you have access to study at your own pace. And I love, love, love, love, love everybody that I've worked with. I mean, like I mentioned before, Sam was making $0,000 a month. In the month of May, she made over $26,000. $26,000. You guys, she has less than— was it 50,000 followers? And she's making $26,000 a month. Dr. Awoma, we're able to increase her affiliates by 300%. Rachel Triller went from less than 4,000 followers to 26.6 thousand followers. We have creators like Delaney Barron, and I didn't ask her to write this. This is something that she wrote last year. After a year of working with me. And she said here that she launched her creative studio, so now she's a founder. She's doubled her following, she found her voice, and she feels more aligned than ever. And by the way, she also wrote here that she hasn't made it to Fashion Week, but I will say, as of September of 2025, she made it to Fashion Week. When I say transformation, I mean transformation, because I believe that you did not get this far just to go back to how things were. So I'm going to open up the floor for a Q&A, and while we're here, I'm also going to pin the checkout so that you, um, in the comment box here, so that you have the opportunity to check out. This is only going to be active for 48 hours, guys. So as of Sunday, 5 PM Eastern Standard Time, That's it. The door's closed. It goes back to $5,000. Please do not miss it. The self-study, that's going to stay the same. So there's that. We start June 22nd. It's 10 weeks. It's so freaking awesome. Like, I love my summer cohorts because it's this reset that is needed halfway through the year. And I feel like when people go through the first 6 months of the year and they're like, oh my God, Idalia, I did not think that this year was going to turn out like this. And you need to turn the ship around, this, this is the time to do it. It is such a powerful cohort. It's one of my favorites, if not the favorite, because it is the summer and it's turning the ship around so that you finish the year the way that you envisioned the year. So instead of burning out, like, we rev the engine on you. So, um, I'm gonna leave this up. It's up in the pins. I'm gonna open the the Q&A session, all you have to do is unmute yourself and turn the camera on and we can have a little chat. So it's open to anybody. Knock yourself out, guys. First come, first serve. My gosh, you guys are shy. Normally there's people like jumping at the bits to ask questions. No questions. If you feel shy, you don't want to get on camera, you can also type the question in the chat box. So I will go through some of the questions that I normally get. Um, the $3,500 option, there is a payment plan available and it's a 3-month payment plan. So I, I make this as flexible as possible for you guys. Um, I did that on purpose because as we go through everything, I want to make sure that you're like being supported. Um, normally a week, I would say save about 2 or 3 hours. Um, if you are not able to keep up, that's no problem. You actually have access to this for 6 months, which is pretty freaking awesome. So although I call this a self-study, this you can do at your own pace as well. Just keep in mind the live sessions are live, so I would love for you to join me. That's probably where we get the most powerful. If you're not able to make any of it, you'll have those replays. And then with the— this, um, cohort style, once we finish the 10 weeks together, you're going to graduate to my next container called the Inner Circle. That is a complimentary ascension, so you keep working with me. So like monthly, you're going to get live calls with me, you're going to get, um, additional interviews with people, you're going to have additional bonuses, you're going to have access to a lot more things and just keep up to date with me. Because what I don't want happening is after 10 weeks— it's kind of like the gym, like what I told you, right? Like after 10 weeks, I don't want you to be like, yes, I did it, and then like we fall away, right? So I am committed to your growth. Um, so after these 10 weeks, you will ascend, um, for free to my next container, and it's absolutely, absolutely powerful. So 10 weeks that we're going to be experiencing will take you through the entire Prestige Path. So we're going to define who you are, we're going to define your archetype, we're going to— right, we're going to define your archetype, we're going to define your emotional tone, we're going to define your content pillars, we're going to clear up your bio, we're going to make sure that as we move on to expansion, I really teach you what your evergreen content is, what your engaging content is, when your impactful content is. We work on your captions, we work on your hooks, I give you a content planner. So I literally am spoonfeeding all this information with you. We're also going to identify brands and clients that want to work with you no matter what niche you're in, how to pitch them, Meta ads and boosting posts. This is probably like one of my favorite things. It's huge, huge, huge, huge, huge, and something that I think is so overlooked, especially when it comes to marketing. I'm going to give you my media kit and you can judge it to make it yourself. We're going to talk about affiliate program and all of this, guys, is just to increase your engagement. That is how my previous students have gotten 300% more affiliates because their engagement. That's how students like Sam went from 0 to 26,000 because she was able to get that engagement. Rachel Trudlow, the same way. So all of these things is what really builds into the catalyzer and everything that you're going to be doing with me 10 weeks this summer. Those are normally the questions that I get. Did I miss anything? If you guys
