Hi, Jack Canfield here and I want to welcome you to the first in a series of video tips on how you can create the life you want. You know, we all aspire to be, do, and have great things, yet most of us simply aren't creating the results we want. We complain that we don't have enough money, enough romance, or enough success or enough joy in our lives. And we point fingers outside and blame other people and other events that we think happened to us and that make life more difficult. But what we need to understand and keep at the forefront of our minds is that greatness exists in all of us. It's simply up to us to pull it out of ourselves. So regardless of personal circumstances, the economic climate you find yourself in, your access or lack of access to resources. It helps to maintain faith when you remember that we're all more powerful than we think. You see, every one of us has the ability to create the life we want. We just need to learn how to do it. Now, is there an exact formula for this? Not exactly, but there are certain principles and disciplines and actions that anybody can do. And when they're combined in the right order, they add up to a success system that never fails. You can use these principles and disciplines to jump start your success and help you attract more of what you want in your life. You'd be hard pressed to find any high achiever who doesn't live by these principles. And I'd like to share the first one with you. Today, it's take no less than 100% responsibility for your life. You know, one of the greatest myths that's pervasive in our culture today is that you're entitled to a great life. And that somehow, somewhere, someone is responsible for filling our lives with continual happiness and excitement, exciting career options, a nurturing family, and blissful personal relationships simply because we exist. But the real truth is that there's only one person responsible for the quality of your life. And that person is you. You see, everything about you is a result of your doing or not doing. Your income, your debt, your relationships, your health, your fitness level, your attitudes and behaviors. Everything that person you see when you look in the mirror is the chief architect in your life. You know, I think everybody knows this in their heart of hearts. But the mind can play games, tricking us into thinking that there are external factors that are the source of our failures, our disappointments and our unhappiness. But the truth of the matter is that external factors don't determine how you live. You and only you are in complete control of the quality of your life experience. Successful people take full responsibility for the thoughts they think, the images they visualize, and the actions they take. They don't waste their time and energy on blaming and complaining. They evaluate their experiences and decide if they need to change them or not. They face the uncomfortable and they take risks in order to create the life that they want to live. And now it's time for you to reclaim your power and and take control of your results. One way to begin is by simply responding differently to the events that occur in your life. That's right, you can actually change the outcomes in your life and get better ones simply by changing your responses to the challenges and opportunities that occur. You see, you only have three things that you can control in your life. The thoughts you think, the images you visualize, and the actions you take. And how you use those three things determines everything you experience. So if you don't like what you're experiencing and what you're producing as results in your life, you have to change your mental, your visual, and your behavioral responses to the events that occur in your life. Remember this. Nothing will change for the better until you do.
Come on, break. Go through breaking, breaking through. You know you're breaking through.
