Improve Your Life! | Jack Canfield

Jack Canfield walks through a visualization exercise to map your ideal life across nine areas: finances, home, career, health, relationships, and more. Write down what you see in detail, review it daily, and set three present-tense goals per area. The key is capturing how success feels, not just what it looks like.

And you need to imagine what it will feel like in your body once you've achieved your goals and created the life you dream of. Once you experience that feeling deep inside you, you'll be far more invested in your success and even more motivated to make it happen. Now, I believe everyone should have a personal development vision for their lives. Always continue to improve, learn, and grow. So I've designed an exercise to help you clarify your vision and give you a personal development template for your life that you can use after watching this video. So the first thing you want to do is find some quiet time. And start by putting on some relaxing music and, and sitting comfortably and quietly in an environment where you won't be disturbed. And then you'll close your eyes and ask your subconscious mind to give you images of what your ideal life would look like if you could have it exactly the way you want it in each of the following categories of your life. So you're going to start by looking at the financial area of your life. And you'll ask yourself questions like, what is my ideal annual income and monthly cash flow? How much money do I have to have in savings and investments? What is my total net worth? Next, ask yourself, what does my ideal home look like? Where is it located? Does it have a view? Walk through your perfect house, your condo, or your apartment, filling in all the details. And at this point, don't worry about how you'll get that house or that apartment in that condo. Don't send sabotage yourself by saying, well, I can't live in Malibu because I don't make enough money. Once you give your mind's eye the picture, your mind will solve the not enough money challenge. Next, think about what kind of car you're driving and any other important possessions your finances have provided. And then you want to visualize your ideal job and your career. Where are you working? What are you doing? With whom are you working? What kinds of customers and clients do you have? What is your compensation like? Is it your own business? Are you working for someone else? And then focus on your free time and your recreation. What are you doing with your friends and family, with all the free time you've created for yourself? What hobbies are you pursuing? What kind of vacations are you taking? And next, what is your ideal vision of your body and your physical health and fitness? How long do you live to Are you open, relaxed, in an ecstatic state of bliss all day long? Are you full of vitality? Are you flexible as well as strong? Do you exercise and eat healthy food and drink enough water? How much do you weigh and what is your ideal weight and what's your ideal body shape look like? And then move on to your ideal vision of your relationships with your family and your friends. What is your relationship with your spouse and your family like? Are those relationships loving, supportive and empowering? What about the personal arena of your life? Do you see yourself going back to school and getting additional training, attending personal growth workshops or seeking therapy for a past issue you want to resolve in your life? Are you growing spiritually? Do you meditate and go on spiritual retreats? Do you want to learn to play an instrument or write your autobiography? Do you want to run a marathon or take an art class? Do you want to travel to other countries and finally focus on the community you've chosen to live in? What does it look like when it's operating perfectly? What kinds of community activities take place there? What do you do to help others and make a difference? And how often do you do these activities? You can write down your answers as you go, or you can do the whole exercise first and then open your eyes and write them down. In either case, make sure you capture everything in writing as soon as you complete the exercise, and then every day review the vision you've written down. This will help keep your conscious and subconscious minds focused on your vision, and you will begin to manifest all the different aspects of your vision. So now I'd like to leave you with a bit of homework. Set three goals based on each area of your life that I just discussed and dream as big as you want and write those goals down in the present tense as if you've already accomplished them. And then go about visualizing these goals. Look at them every day and focus on them and watch the wonderful things that will begin to happen for you. So thanks for watching today. And remember, nothing will change for the better until you do.
