Creativity in branding design. Many times people scared of these words, branding design, right? So I've heard about graphic design, I've heard about product design and UI UX design. What is this branding which design is really doing? The point is, if you are able to search properly about what branding design is really all about, it's about communication design, right? In fact, everybody is communicating something one or the other way in design. So any designer can do it. In nutshell, I would say that is my understanding. And there is a process too. If you are able to follow that process successfully, you can do any kind of a branding projects. I personally did two branding projects which have got lot many experience also. And I've guided students also in building that particular branding design project. And I have also worked in one of the international projects in branding design. To learn more deeply about how it really important how it really matters when you're building a website, app or even building a social presence, how branding will really change a particular brand statement in your flow. Okay, you're going to learn six steps, how you can really create more good branding design and foster your creativity really in order to build a robust solution. And I'll also give you some solutions and validations how you can really structure it. See, it's a very intangible element, right? So we will not be able to get a proper output also at the end. But if you follow a process, whatever I am saying, you will definitely get a huge tangible output of it. Okay, so with this we'll be diving deep into the topic. Guys. Yes, Creativity in branding design. Let me tell you, first of all, a designer needs to understand the complex technology, whatever is there. Let's say if you're building a brand for any kind of AI technology. Okay, let's take a case study so that you will also understand better how creativity can be used in branding design. Let's say if you're building artificial intelligence. Let's say if you're building some kind of a most advanced sophisticated technology. First is you need to understand the complex technology in a very easier manner. You can do something like a workshop. You can watch videos, you can read articles, you can read some materials, blogs, podcast, lot, many things you can do to understand that. See, I will recommend you a very good podcast which is bridging gap between communication and complex technology. So this helps largely to really understand this kind of a case studies. Okay? And when you're able to do it, you understand the brand better. See guys, here understanding is the important point. Second is balancing the innovation and professionalism. See when too much of innovation happens, professionalism will be largely missing out. Many people face this problem, right? To solve this, you need to understand the value of that company and the brand which you're trying to solve, understand their personality. There's a podcast called Innovative Branding. Okay. You can very well subscribe to that podcast and it will show you the balance act of futurism and professionalism. See guys, I always recommend podcast as a material for learning because it's on the go. You can learn if you're traveling, if you're going somewhere, it's the best tool which you can learn lot many materials. And I've spent hours and hours, hundreds and hundreds of hours learning through podcast and audio materials so that close to 500 plus hours I would have listened to audio materials so that while the travel is happening, learning is also happening. So I would suggest you can listen to the podcast called Innovative Branding. Okay, that's the second step. Third is creating a memorable brand identity. See, why we are doing this branding is we need to rebrand a particular brand. A brand would have had some problem, maybe they would have lost their value or name or identity. You're trying to revamp that. That's why we are doing the branding, right? How you can bring the creativity, bring some unique visual elements, bring some good story for that brand. Like let's say if people are giving you a product for one rupee, let's say 1 kg rice for one rupee, build a story around it, how it's going to really impact. Show that in visuals, show that storytelling so that it becomes even more attractive when people really hear this. Oh yeah, yeah, one rupee, one kilogram. That's really nice, right? It looks like a story. It's not like I'm making some kind of a sentences and then I'm selling some product or something. If you choose some attractive storytelling method or a visual elements to show that product and services, whatever you have for your brand, then your brand will sell even more better. Then your branding will work really better. This will lead to create a proper brand narrative for your brand. There is a podcast called Crafting a Tech Marvel. You can listen to the podcast. It will really help you how you can create a memorable brand identity for your branding design. Right? The fourth important thing is adaptation to the rapid technological changes. See guys, it's all about mindset. If you're not able to adapt to the rapid technology, you will not be able to deliver a better output for your client or customer. So you need to remember that the fifth element is accessibility. And inclusiveness when it comes to designing products and services. It should be used by all. It should be following a regulatory norms if at all, the product will miserably fail or the product will not even comply to any kind of a guidelines so that it will be rejected in many countries. Right? So it's very important to check that accessibility inclusivity, whether it can be used for everybody and every region and every set of population, whatever you're targeting for, you can listen to a podcast called Designing for All. Okay. And that is like a role of accessibility in technical branding, in technological branding, in. So it's a great podcast. You can listen to that. And the sixth important thing is improving your creativity and organizing your information properly. See, I told you branding is a very abstract full subject, right? If you're able to follow the process, whatever I said now you'll be able to have a clarity in what you're doing and always have some kind of experimentation mindset also at the end. Because sometimes during experimentation also you will get a lot more ideas, a very clear idea, somebody clutter free ideas also. And sometimes you'll fail also. You should be ready for both of these things. And there is a podcast called Unleashing Creativity. You can listen to it. It will show you the strategies for generating original ideas in technique, technological branding. So that's a great podcast. You can note it down. Okay. Because if you're understanding how creativity could be improved in branding, then you will do a better branding design. To recap this podcast, let me tell you. First is understanding the complex technology and getting used to it. Second is balancing the innovation and professionalism by finding the personality and value of the company. Third is crafting some memorable brand ide identity by using storytelling method, brand narrative and unique visual elements. And also fourth is adapting to the new technological trend. And fifth is making sure it is accessible and inclusive. Whether you're designing a website or poster or app or whatever digital thing and building your creativity and organizing it and having that experimental mindset to also do some experiment to improve that. Okay, so this is the six steps of how you can improve your creativity in branding design. Let me suggest you some books also, guys. Okay? There is a book called Brand Thinking and Other Noble Pursuits by Debbie Millman. She's actually a part of Design Better. You can listen to the podcast also. It's a wonderful material. I've listened to it. And also you can read a book called Brand Thinking and Other Noble Pursuits by Debbie Millman. It's a beautiful. She's a good designer. She did A lot of branding projects and graphic design projects. And you can follow somebody called Paula Sheeler. Okay. She owns the Pentagram, she's working in Pentagram Design Studio where they do some of the big brands like let's say Public Theater, like let's say Visa Card, like let's say some of the big Microsoft logo, like the. All these things are very prominent. And she has did more than 5,000 design works and branding and graphic design.
