On average, every three months people get a million dollar idea. It's a statistics guys. It's a research which was done every three months. Everybody in the world gets a million dollar idea, but less than 0.1 percentage of the people take action and make it as a product. Have you seen how many products in the market? Hey, I was really thinking it several years before now. It came as a product. Hey, I was exactly thinking this could be a product in the future, but it came now. The only thing is that they have taken action and you have not. If you don't know the power of taking action and if you're stuck being a designer or if you're stuck not coming into the design field, still thinking here and there and going into an analysis paralysis mode. Listen very carefully and take notes guys. This podcast is going to change your perspective. Okay, let's jump in. Having said that, action taking is one of the major important thing guys. See totally. There are 181 episodes in this podcast. Okay? Even if you have listened to 180 episodes, I would not be happy. But if you take action on at least one or two episodes and make it as a plan and make it as a habit and then you follow, you will get a phenomenal results. Guys, action is everything. My mentor brain Tracy says 98% of the people in the world work for the people who do have goals. The remaining 2 percentage. And in that 98 percentage, 80% of the people are massive action takers. And that's why they go into the very very fast 2 percentage. Guys, okay, every billionaire, every millionaire, you can take the most successful people, they're action oriented. They course correct it over the time. You know what the six traits, the six obstacles, what designers really get stuck when it comes to design thinking. When it comes to solving a problem, every billionaire and millionaire has the same thinking guys, because they if they are not able to solve the problem, they won't be able to drive the business. Don't think that they are designers. They don't know Adobe xt, Figma. How come they will become a designers? No, people who are solving problems are called designers for me. Okay, you don't have to really have a hat or a degree or something to say that experience. And I mean if you're solving a problem, you are definitely going into a mode of designer and design thinking. Okay? It's very vital, guys. So the first is paralysis of overthinking analysis. Parallels I very much call. Okay, so over analyzing and excessively thinking can lead to a state of paralysis where Decisions are never, never made. I'll tell you guys, some of my students, you know what, after joining the program, also when we ask what is the goal? When we teach them how to write a goal in smart, smart format, they still don't get a clarity. They wanted to go to UI design or they wanted to go into animation design. They wanted to become a what you call UX develop. I mean UI developer. They want to go into software testing this that they want to do a mix role of a designer and developer. But they don't want to really come into design. If they really don't want to come into design, that's perfectly good. They can choose that career. But they are in the stage of like let's say, hey, whether design will be good or development will be good, this is called overthinking. Fear of missing out and paralysis. And overthinking will happen when you don't decide. Decide something and take action, guys. See how will you overcome this obstacle by taking action? Very simple, guys. If you want to really get a clarity in design, you want to take action and move forward. Okay. Second, action breeds clarity. As I rightly mentioned in the first point, if you want to really make a decision, if you really wanted to make a what do you call clarity, move along, move along, move along. Don't think too much. Hey Jagdish, you are telling something opposite. So people say think clearly, think patiently and then only you will get answers. Don't be in that old school thinking, guys. What I mean action through mean clarity through action is you have to move ahead in order to take some decision and think forward. In order to reflect, in order to course correct. In order to move ahead. That's what is called action. Okay? I'm not asking you to think and sit forever. That's not the point. So action provides the clarity. What happens like let's say if you're engaging in a task or a project or maybe designers have a different perspective, you can refine their vision and goals. You can even ask your customers and redefine that. See many times even a customer will not sometimes tell you what is the real goal. Moving along the project, we may get a clarity and we propose it and client will be really happy. You won't believe. Guys, there is a project which I've did which is close to more than 1.5 crores of revenues. Okay, that design project, we did it in just three to four weeks. The point is, end of the third week we came with a brief. That customer was totally shocked and he was like we said very clearly this is not going to over in four weeks. Because the way in which the problem we have entitled is not clear. And after two weeks only we got the clarity what is really need to be done. And then we are now creating a very, very massive foolproof solution so that your users are going to love it. You know what, by seeing that idea, they've extended our project to next one week, two weeks in fact. So people will give you this time guys, but when you don't take action, when you think, think, think, think, think. What happens? Nothing will happen. Okay, so the third is role of decision making. And let me complete the second point, guys. After this project we delivered, the client was extremely happy and he gave more 50 plus project 50 in the same order. Because the way in which we delivered the fast, the thinking, the clarity, they have delivered 50 plus projects, guys. So think about the 50x revenue. So that's the power of action. The third is decision making. See, if you're not able to decide, the only way is to take action and move forward. Okay? Indecisiveness is not the point, guys. I mean decisiveness is a hallmark of a successful designer. See, I'll tell you how to make a decision. Let's say if you want to decide between concept A, B, have some rational, have some matrix, have some evaluation criteria. If you're not able to make it, choose on the intuitiveness, whatever you feel. See, either you'll have to choose based on a rational or a metric or you have to choose based on intuition. And if you still doubt your decision, you are having a state of what you call limbo. You're in a state of analysis paralysis. Just, just move ahead with either one, okay? And try to justify it with some research data, journal and everything. So this is the quality of a renowned designers. Guys, prioritize your decision making. What happens? Let's say if it is wrong, you can course correct it quickly because you have taken the responsibility to take a decision. Right? So move ahead. Yeah, correct it. Okay, fine. This is, this is also not correct. Okay, let me take the third decision. Okay, it's also not correct. Let me take the fourth edition. Ha. Better. See, you have evolved. That's the fourth obstruction. You will evolve through action, guys. It's not like you will go backwards. See, if you don't take action, you will go into depression. If you don't take action, you will be in stress. If you don't take action, you will be in a lot of, lot of stress, guys. You know one of the brain coach John Demartini. He has read 45,000 books and he is a psychology expert and he is a human behavior expert. Guys, you know what this guy says? Stress is mainly due to not taking action. He made this entire subject of stress into just one line. Not taking action. So what does it tell you? People who are in a constant stress? No, it's not because of the huge work or heavy load or heavy. People who are in a heavy work, they love it. People who are in a huge work, they would be busy doing that. People who have a huge work but they are not taking action. Underline this word. But they are not taking action, they will go into a stress. It's true guys, I've experienced it and I've seen people both experience, they have personal as well as seeing the outside. So evolve guys. Move, move, move continuously take action. Then and only your designs will evolve, your concepts will evolve. How you make a best idea, make hundred ideas. How do you make a best decision? Make hundred decision, bad decision and you make a good idea. How do you brainstorm to come up with a great idea? Have a lot of brainstorming session and come up with hundred different ideas. So you need to learn by doing it, guys. Okay? Even the NID's design education says learning by doing. Okay? Not learning by lectures, not learning by videos, learning by doing. Can I tell you guys, in my six week program, I give students more than 150 activities every single day. Two or three activities they'll do. And even without they putting effort, I'll make them do it because I've designed in the way so that it is enjoyable. It's, it's effortless, it's, it's really pleasurable for them in order to learn them. Because I know if you're not taking action, you can't learn anything. You can't evolve. The fifth is action helps you as a catalyst for inspiration. You know, know what? Action sparks a lot of inspiration and motivation. Intrinsic motivation, not the external motivation you watch in a YouTube video or some motivational speech. And then you go back to your normal. No intrinsically it triggers you. So engage with projects and challenges. You know what that fuels lot of creativity in you guys. And then you take action and you move forward. And the sixth is celebrate the action taking. Guys. See people don't celebrate this. So acknowledge and appreciate whenever you hack a good decision, whenever you make a good idea, whenever you make a good, what you call like let's say design project. So if you're able to encourage this guys, you will come out of this zone and then you will take action. Let me repeat you guys, the paralysis of overthinking is the first obstacle. Take action to move forward. When you take action, that gives you clarity, okay? When you take action, that gives you decision making ability better. When you take action, you will evolve in your concepts and thinking. When you take action, you will become a catalyst and for inspiration. And then you move ahead for motivation. And then when you take action and when you celebrate it, you will permanently go into a mode of celebrating your design skies. Because action taking is one of the very important thing. If you are someone who is listening to this podcast, take an action go and write in the description what you really learned in this podcast. Okay? That would be the action point and homework for you. If you'd love to join my program to learn all these things in a very subtle way and then make sure you wanted to get a results in just less than three months, I would highly, highly recommend you come and experience my mentorship program for one or two weeks and take addition. Okay? Thank you so much guys. Give me a best star rating if you find this useful in Apple and Spotify. We'll see in another episode, guys. Take care. Bye bye.
