In this podcast, I'm going to tell you exactly how to get your design jobs. Being a fresher. That's your first design job and I'm going to discuss you steps and I'm going to discuss you some tools and guides also how you can do it. Okay, so take a lot of notes. We'll start with that first. Very important thing is you need to have your skills ready. What skills? Problem solving skills. Being a designer, even if you have a sketching knowledge, rendering knowledge, 3D modeling knowledge, prototyping knowledge, research knowledge, make sure everything leads to problem solving. If you are not able to do that, then ultimately there is no point in talking about your skills at all. Okay, so how do you do that? You have to showcase it through some research. You have to showcase it through some project, some problem, what you've already solved. Either you can create a portfolio, you can create a social media page, or you can create a case study or a blog. Anything guys. It should have been filled with problem solving ability skills. Okay? You can use a lot of AI tools such as Google Bard Chat, GPT and there is a new tool called Cloud C A L U D E. These tools will give you a pretty much clear and precise research how you can build your case study and show your problem solving skills. Okay. And have a very good strong resume in order to showcase that. See the very first things, what I told you is resume and portfolio aligning with your problem solving skills is very important. This is the very first strategy. Second is connect with 25 people in LinkedIn every single day. Okay? Don't go to any random people and do it. Find people who you really wanted to be associated with. Go and comment in their posts. If you give them a message, if they are not replying you, you can take an approach of going and commenting on their post meaningfully. Look at the post and then say hi, your post looks really great. This is very informative. Yeah, I do agree on that. And you can say the other way around, hey, I do have a difference in opinion. I think this is this way. Whatever information you shared is good, but I think it could be also seen and solved through a different design method. I propose this. You can see my profile, my project, so you can engage in a meaningful comment. Even if they are not replying, you go and endorse their skills. LinkedIn promotes your name and ID when you promote somebody's skill and they'll be happy to come and LinkedIn make a connect with you. That's the algorithm behind LinkedIn. You can make a three follow ups with anybody after a day or after two days. If still they are not replying, leave them. Okay, so if you connect with them 25 people in a day, hardly 10 to 15 people will respond to you in this way. Okay, don't go to random people in that. Go to 10 different groups relating to product design, UI, UX design, fresher design internship, learning, wherever you want to really associate with. Go and have a chat in there, join that group, type the genuine reason you wanted a network and connect with people and then they'll be accepting you. Okay, ten different groups you can join and also create some post. Very simple post can be created using canva or using textual methods. Right now you can write any small information using chat GPT without error free and then you can copy paste that very easily. Okay, so People comment, people LinkedIn connect, community and group connect and individual post connect and 25 people in LinkedIn every single day. If you do this guys, you will be having a great clarity in what you are wanted to do as a designer. You don't need any support guys, this first two methods, what I told you is going to help you a lot. Okay? You can use a tool called Merlin AI. You can use a tool called Engage AI. I'll be pasting the link in the bottom description. You can use these tools to really analyze a profile and then reply and type a customized message accordingly. If you are not sure how to message a particular individual, these AI tools will filter out the profile's information and give you the best insights to get that. Okay, second strategy, the third strategy is connect with HRS and design studios. In this particular podcast, I will be pasting you my gift, guys. You know, in this particular information you will find an Excel sheet inside that I only share with people who are in my paid community. Okay? But I do share it here because if you want to take an advantage of it, you can do it. You can first click that free gift and claim it automatically will get the trigger and then you will be supplied with that Excel sheet neatly in that. You can strategically fill the 14 different parameters which I've given in order to crack. Any job, any HR studio, any, any design studio with the intent, okay, you can follow that. You can just follow that template and you can collect the data using the company's website, using the company's LinkedIn page, using the HR details, using the person who is working in the company, you can fill that information. Okay? Fourth is you need to connect with an accountability partner or a mentor while you're going through this guys, See, particularly to get a first design job, you cannot do it like a loan warrior. You will be figuring out your things on your own. It'll take years, guys, but if you work with a mentor or an accountability partner, you will be having a much more clarity in what mistakes you're making and then you will get the results faster. I'm not saying you join any program you start with anybody. Having any program is better than nothing. So, okay, so think about it. And fifth is you can attend some mock interviews using many AI tools like let's say Ugley AI. Y O O D L I AI. Okay, I'll be pasting the description. Also you can do it. And there are many matchmaking AI tools like Pyjama hr. So all these things will give your candidature in a very clear way so that you can find your fit, how you're matching with that organization and how you can perform an interview. Ugly AI helps you in interviews and presentations and PPT so that you can correct your grammars, speech skills, communication, so that a personal English communication assistant is there with you to correct your mistakes. That same thing Ugly AI tool does. Okay, you need to take care of this. And the sixth important thing is create a page in LinkedIn monsters. And you can go to glass doors. You can create internshara account. You can, you can network with people over there as well. You can create a Instagram account, Twitter account, Quora even you can create a YouTube channel to publish few videos to show your content. See guys, if you provide a lot of online content, people will have a greater trust on you when they see your candidature. This is the important things. Okay, let me repeat. You create your resume and portfolio for problem solving skills. Use many AI tools like let's say connect with 25 people in LinkedIn. Connect in groups, connect in individuals, connect in post and use Merlin AI Engage AI for creating more meaningful connections. And then if you are really good, you can be having showcase of the skills in Adobe XD Figma. You can use Procreate if you're having some good illustration skills. You can have like let's say a very good webcam Apple headset if you want because that is really good in terms of sound quality. And you can have a ring light, LED light which is a very simple thousand rupees setup. And you can have a green screen if you can spend little 5 to 600 more. So all these tools will equip you as a professional and a proper designer. Okay, see, having all these things is very important, guys. Don't take interviews very lightly, okay?
