It is very challenging for a designer when it comes to job application for a experienced being a fresher, right? Many people have the problem and also when I ask students they tell jagdish, only experienced people are getting job and the vacancy is always there for the fresh experienced people only. I'm a fresher. Can I go and apply there or not? Right? This is a very very common pain point which people ask and absolutely in this podcast I'm going to tell you it is 100% possible for being a fresher to apply for experienced role. How? Why? What? How you can able to exactly implement it and get result in next 30 days in this podcast I'm going to break it down so take a lot of notes. Let's jump in the very first step, what I have to tell you is yes, it is definitely possible guys to apply being a fresher. Let's say if the job description calls for one year, two years or maybe five years, it doesn't matter. I will tell you why very confidently I'm telling this information because out there in the market there is something called opportunities which you see in LinkedIn, glass doors, knockery monsters, everything right out there there are other opportunities which is not seen by the outer job vacancies and all which is called secret jobs which is hidden inside the industries. That means even the HR might not know whether that role could be given for anybody. Even the company CEO doesn't know whether this role could even come for that. I will tell you why. The reason being when you are able to solve a problem for an industry using your design skill, you open up a new avenue or a possibility for those industry. Like let's say if it is an E commerce industry or maybe if it is a food delivery app or maybe if it's anything which is relating to product designer ui the moment when you find out a gap. Like let's say why don't the shopping industry and E commerce merge? Why not the food delivery and the gift industry merge? Why don't this industry A merge with the industry B and create a new possibility C. Like let's say what if people can able to what you call travel together as well as meet their friends and also give them a surprise and also deliver them some gifts through the online e commerce market and create a wonderful experience while they're traveling and having fun and vacation. Is it possible? Yes, it is absolutely possible. There is no industry like this till now. But you can do imagine if you go on pitches to industries like Swiggy or Zomato or maybe Some other industries like Flipkart, something like that. So you are opening up a new possibility, a new business area, a new revenue system where the industries is also constantly innovating in order to fight themselves and come as a unique industry. Because everybody needs an edge to go in the market. So using this technique, whatever you have as a skill, you can able to build a new gap or a new area to go and start talking with the people. See many people think, hey Jagdish, I'm an engineer, I'm a lawyer, I'm a doctor, I'm from a graphic design, I'm a content writer. So I'm not sure whether design is really for me or not. That is one big problem for those people. Also I'm telling you it doesn't matter. Bring out the stories, bring out the important element. What brought you into this design field. Think about one in real time case study or a real time incident or maybe perhaps a project in your graduation project or maybe in your in your diploma degree or maybe in your work experience you did some project or maybe you went for some vacation or maybe you went for some social course or maybe you attended some festival. So there should be some reason which really triggered your design thinking, creativity and ability inside you to go and pursue in this field. You may not have seen it so far, but definitely it is there inbuilt. The reason I'm telling you very strongly is you are not just like that pulled for this reason in design field. There is some reason which has really made you come into this area. Because of exploring this creativity you. So your responsibility is to go and find out. Okay, check this. How it is very important now. Why? Why it is very vital to understand now because I'm telling you guys, your entire journey starts from that point. Only if you find out the tipping point where you really got triggered to start this as a career and what story you can able to bring from your earlier past experience or project or anything that is the absolute start of everything. After that we'll go for the step two which is called building the projects. Let's say it could be earlier projects. Let's say if you'd be, it could be a gap project which you found out in the industry or maybe in your dream industry. If you find out this is actually a very good company which I wanted to work for and this is a big gap. What they have a very, very common problem, but people have not solved it. So why don't you take it up a project? If you're ideally inside my community, I Would have given you a one day project formula how we can able to create it. If you are in my community, I would have also given you a document called 4x preparation. Yeah, maybe I can do one thing. People who are listening to this podcast, if they wanted to claim the gift of Codex you can able to reply for the email which is given. Guys we will definitely help you out to give the document because that document its is worth of 30,000 rupees. We have prepared prompts, we have prepared questions, we have prepared that Codex document in a way using generative AI and a questioning ability. You can see the next 10 years of your career crystal clear. If you have that much of clarity in applying for the jobs. It doesn't require any kind of an experience guys. It doesn't even require any kind of a degree. It's just basically 12 standard is enough. One of my student, he has just completed 12 standard, doesn't have any degree. Recently he crapped very. He, he recently he cracked very good job at product design and UI UX design. He's now working in one of the prominent design studios in his country. He's not India, he's from abroad. So the point here is people look for what you can solve. How you can solve their problem through your skills. What you got rest, they don't care. Are you having degree? Are you having experience? Are you having portfolio? Are you black? Are you white? Are you which country are you this nothing is really really a problem guys. Everything is there in our mind only same like we have this caste and country and what you call this religion and all this problem, right? Similarly like that you have this problem inside your mind. Nobody will take me because I don't have experience. I'm a fresher. Nobody will hire me. No this throw it away once. If you understand the second step then we can go for the third step. Now building out your project. Your project could go into any depth. You can do an extensive one week project or maybe one month project or make sure the project which is more relevant to that industry and pitch it out to them very very confidently. Some of the times even your graduation project or your school project or your college project. Your vacation also could be documented. And you can able to relate to the design case study around it. You can able to build a design story around it. You can able to build a design thinking methodology which can able to showcase that project that really drives you as a designer. But your responsibility is to highlight that. Make sure whatever you highlighted should come into your resume. Make sure you whatever you highlighted that should come into your message when you talk with the recruiters. Make sure that should come into your portfolio when you're pitching to different people. With this strategy now you can move for the fourth step. Start targeting the right industries. Once if you find out the right industries for this value alignment and the story what you have, then you can start pitching to them in a networking way. In fact, in the last YouTube video, last YouTube live stream, I've recorded a complete 50 minutes video segment how we can able to start networking with people in tech. You can watch that. What are the 12 emotional hooks and 12 curiosity hooks which you can create to start talking with anybody and get reply and in front of live I showed people three people how I messaged them and how they also replied to me. Okay, so the point here is you will have to use the right strategies and talk with the right people at the right time to get the right opportunity for you. And then finally you will start receiving interview calls. You will start receiving phone calls, you'll start receiving emails. Then it's up to you to go and attend the interview and crack it. Okay, I cannot cover that segment here because this is a very short podcast. I have to keep it crystal clear. I hope you have got the clarity of your search process. So please remember it doesn't require experience or it doesn't require you to only apply for the fresher role, not for the experience 100 it doesn't require. All you have to have is a problem solving ability and the story which is aligning to your past which is exactly matching there. Once you find out then you can target the industries and start pitching. By implementing this, you can able to break all the barriers and go and get any job. Guys. If you wanted a very detailed case study and a breakthrough of it, you can go to my YouTube channel live stream which I did today. You can able to find the same keyword, same heading of the keyword what podcast this is there and you can find the heading there and you will see a 40 minutes detailed video of how being a fresher you can able to apply for experienced rules.
