Ep 277 | Five Strong Rituals in Linkedin to get hiredf 40X faster

Lot of people have a LinkedIn account, but people don't know how to follow and use the effectiveness of LinkedIn in order to get you hired or get the exact objective, why you are in that platform. In this podcast I'm going to give you exactly the five rituals or the habits. How we can able to implement it without even thinking much to get really, really faster results. Okay, so let's jump in. See, I'm going to make this podcast very simple, short, to the point. Okay? There are five techniques which I will tell you. You have to follow that as a ritual or a habit. Don't think, do it randomly, don't follow any ritual randomly, or follow something correctly, but you're not doing it consistently. So all this is a big problem with the people, right? First of all, let me tell you, LinkedIn is the most amazing platform for job seekers and recruiters and other people. If you are not using that effectively, you're already missing out on a great part. You have to understand this content, guys, very important information. Also majority of the job like let's say 85% of the job are now filled through only referral, guys. That means people trust you based on the somebody else has trusted you. So LinkedIn is a very, very good way to understand how we can able to get referral from the people through building that trust. 90% of the recruiters use LinkedIn guys. What else you need? 30% of the jobs is filled through networking overall. But 85% of the job in LinkedIn is filled through only networking. So understand this guys. See, consistent posting information makes your visibility in the online presence by up to 50 percentage. In fact, that's what I'm going to tell you how we can able to create that presence as well live. You will be able to get it. Okay, but when you ask this podcast, what are the exact five step jug this tell me I can able to do it. First, optimize your profile every single day, 5 to 10 minutes you will have to optimize your profile the moment. If you're optimizing your profile automatically, you will be able to get lot more people attracted. Guys, I'll tell you why. The reason being people are randomly playing here and there, right? Instead of that, I will suggest you go and change your profile picture. Go and create an attractive banner. Go and create a very good summary which is more aligning to the keywords what you are going to search in the job market. Like let's say if it's a tech industry, it's a healthcare industry. Make sure your summary is like that. Don't put I'm aspiring, you are UX designer. Like everybody puts that way. Okay, don't do that. Create a very meaningful way of how we can able to help and contribute to this medical field, to this edtech field, to this e commerce field. So the moment when you're differentiating that people get a lot of attraction. And Also according to LinkedIn's SEO, when you make some changes, it is understanding that you are very actively searching for job or connections or anything, right? So it will automatically promote to the people whoever is looking for you. Very first information profile optimization. Because first impression matters. Second, engage with some content. See, this is most important guys. When you are, when you are going and using the LinkedIn carefully, you should understand engaging with other content is very important. Read that post, use that blog, comment on that meaningfully. Engage. See you can use a tool called Engage AI Merlin AI. These are all engagement tools, very simple to learn. You can able to use it because some of the blog post, you won't be able to read it fully 15, 20 minutes. You can read it quickly by using this AI tools and comment very meaningfully. Okay, you can do this for 15 to 20 minutes every single day guys. At least 10 posts you can able to engage in. This is the second ritual. First ritual is profile optimization. Second ritual is engaging in industry content and find out any relevant articles which is related to you and then go and comment on it. Or maybe if you're following somebody as a recruiter or a designer, maybe if they are posting something, please go and actively engage. Automatically LinkedIn will post in their feed saying Jagdish has replied for your comment for your post. So that makes Them directly visible. Okay? That's the way to get attracted, guys. That's the way to get find your connection replying to you as fast as possible. Okay, the third ritual is you need to add a lot of content, guys. See, we are not content creators influencers, but we are going to be a creators in a very small scale because LinkedIn promotes the people, whoever is creating content. Because 1% of the people create content in LinkedIn. 6 to 7 percentage of the people are very active and engaging the content in LinkedIn. And 20 percentage people have a presence like they come here and there and go. But majorly 60 percentage of the people, they are just in LinkedIn but they don't use it at all. So we are only Talking about the 20 to 30 percentage people in that 6 to 7 percentage of the people actively engage in that 1 percentage people create. This is the statistics I've learned from one of the guy called Vibo. He's a growth school founder and he's pretty good in LinkedIn guys. In fact, I wanted to use the LinkedIn strategies. Whatever he has told to apply for the design jobs. That's what ultimately is very important, right? Because if something is happening in the market out there, because he's a growth hacker, he's really inspiring person. You can go and watch his website and all. He's really good in understanding the platform much better. Okay, So I have utilized that into the form of design learning and how we can able to utilize it carefully for getting creative jobs. Okay, you can use it for any job, guys. It doesn't matter. Okay, that's the third ritual. So you need to create a lot of content. You can do a quick AI search in Chat, GPT or YouTube or Google and write one small article. Maybe that could be having three points. Maybe that could be having even one point. That is okay. Create one image in Canva. Or maybe you can use any AI generated image. Make sure you give credits and then you post it. See, the reason why I'm asking you to post something is LinkedIn will really, really promote you faster. Make sure you showcase your expertise. Make sure you showcase the skill, what you wanted to get hired. Don't just post random content. That's not what we are doing it, okay? We're doing it for a purpose and ultimately we need to get the benefit out of it. Okay, so every day 10 to 15 minutes you can spend to create one content. See, ideally if you create two content in a week, that would be super good. Three content, if you create it will be even great Every Day. If your content creating content as a ritual, you are super, super great, guys. LinkedIn is going to promote you like anything. The way in which you get reply from the recruiters will be at least 40x faster than the people out there just randomly scrolling in LinkedIn in the feed. Yes, I told you exactly the information and the statistics which is relevant and true. You have to create content, guys. Create one content, two content, anything. Image, post, text post, write some article. If you find something useful, you can repost it. If you want to add some material from the online, just take it and then put it and give the credits properly so that your community is also learning and your friends and connections are also learning by the knowledge whatever you're sharing. Okay? And the fourth important ritual is outreach and connection request. See, it's not about creating content also it's about you going and actively eng engaging in those content. Okay, so you need to go and understand this category. You need to go and outreach with the people. You need to connect with the people, you need to give new request, you need to accept the request, you need to send a greeting to them. Use many emotional formulas, guys, I told you that, okay? Use that to carefully do it. Because every day if you're not spending 10 to 15 minutes in outreach and connecting with a new request, your network will not grow. Very simple, right? And the fifth important ritual is make sure you customize the message before you sending it. You can go to the earlier podcast which is 12 hooks which I've taught, which I've gave you. You can even watch it in my YouTube channel. 12 hooks of how you can able to emotionally connect with the people by using that and five curiosity hooks as well. So 17 different techniques I've given you guys. You can able to use anything based on the context, whatever you want. Fine. So the moment when you are actually directly customizingly messaging these people, they will be able to immediately connect and respond to you. If you are not doing that, they won't treat you like a very important person or you get lost in the feed or even you don't even pop in their messages. So make sure you customize your message, don't send hi good morning generic messages and waste your time and their time as well. Okay, so make sure you DM them carefully and then you will see a lot of recruiters or people who are going to reply back to you. And there is something called follow up. In fact you can go to my Spotify channel and listen to follow up art of Follow up in LinkedIn. This is a Very, very important strategy. Guys, you need to do alternate day follow up. You need to do two kind of follow up. One is commenting them directly, messaging them, engaging in their post, as well as you can able to tell them like I'm endorsing your skill. So by this you are going to get attracted by these people fast. Because anybody who is out there in the LinkedIn they will not just like that trust your message. You guys, you need to give a follow up. First, one or two days you can able to normally give a message follow up. Second you can able to give post in their comment, I mean comment in their post, okay? Thereby they'll be notified and they you can able to follow it up with them. Third, you can able to go and endorse their skills. Fourth, you can able to again message them saying hey, I've really looked for your feedback, no problem, I understand you're busy. We can connect later by this like every alternate day when you do these four activities, which is like seven to eight days, you really get to attend a person and you get a new connection. If after that also that person is not replying, then leave them go for the next person. Okay. And if they are active, definitely they'll come back. If they're not active in the LinkedIn, it's ultimately waste of time. So don't go and reply or comment on somebody who's not active for more than two weeks or three weeks. Guys, it's ultimately waste of time. It's like calling the phone which is switched off. You're not going to get any reply, right? So this is the five important information guys. The first ritual is profile optimization. You can spend 10 to 15 minutes. Second is engaging in some content 10 to 15 minutes, posting some regular content, 5 to 10 minutes and outreaching to the people. You can spend another 30 minutes and directly messaging them and networking them another 30 minutes. If you spend 90 minutes every single day to follow these five rituals, guys, I am super confident that your LinkedIn strategy, your job search profile will go up like anything. The moment when your profile is going up like anything, people will notice. The moment when people are noticing, they'll reply. The moment when your skill is matching with them, they will give you interview chance. And the moment the interview goes well, you are going to land in a perfect offer.
