A short first-person YouTube monologue (creator: James Lim) in which the speaker confesses feeling their life is being wasted—years of repeating the same goals, consuming courses and books without progress—attributes the paralysis to fear and uncertainty, and reports that progress began only after stepping back to design a gradual, fear-accommodating strategy.

I feel like I'm wasting my life. It started with days, then weeks, months, then years. Every year, my journals would have the same goals, same ideas. I was living day to day. Each day was the same. It was like Groundhog Day. No change. I wasn't growing. I felt sad. I know I have potential, I said to myself. Lots of ideas, things I want to try. I'd read up on them, dream about them one day. But the reality? I was doing nothing to make any real progress other than watch more videos, take more courses and read more books. But the needle wasn't moving. The truth? I was scared. I didn't know how to start. The uncertainty. I didn't know what I was doing. And each time I thought about it, it got overwhelming very quick. I was afraid I would try positive self talk, affirmations, motivation, videos. But I just couldn't move. I was firmly stuck. Not until I took a step back and built a strategy, an approach that would ease me into the process, accommodate my fears and who I was. Did everything start to change.
