If you're feeling stuck, unfulfilled, but you're afraid of risk, you might want to listen up. This gets harsh at the end, so scroll on if you can't take it. The reality is, if you don't act, nothing will change. Why? Because the change you're looking for requires things you don't have right now. Do you want to feel you've gone through life and accomplished nothing you actually wanted? Change is uncomfortable. There's risks, and this causes you to get overwhelmed and freeze. You procrastinate. At the critical point of action, this loop becomes habitual. You're procrastinating because of your emotions, your fears. But you're also training yourself to constantly think of ideas, but never take action, making you a less effective person. Day by day, the whole cycle lowers your confidence. Then the guilt kicks in as you realize you're still not achieving anything. There's no quick fix. I don't care to sugarcoat this, because it leads you further into the delusion that thinking and thinking alone will get you out of it. It won't. And you will be stuck in this pit for a very long time. You need an action strategy with a sensible approach, one that works with who you are and where you are right now. It will take work, and you will have to push harder than you've ever pushed before, but it can be done.
