Every day I think about all the things I wanted to achieve. I get excited about my ideas, but soon enough I find distractions. I procrastinate. And before I knew it, it was bedtime. I hadn't achieved anything. How could this happen? But there was always tomorrow. I knew I should be in bed, but I just couldn't help it. Today's a write off anyway. This loop would happen time and time again. Weeks would fly by and I still hadn't taken any action. I hadn't made any progress. I felt useless and guilty. Worse still, I got used to this routine. Scrolling on TikTok, binging on YouTube. I was stuck in this never ending cycle of consumption. But I couldn't stop myself. I felt bad, but it was comforting. It was only when I took a step back, looked at why I was trying to achieve things, faced my demons and started to piece together a plan, did things start to move. I started to build a plan, one that would work in small doses, a structure I could follow, and reached out to get the help and support I needed. And that's when everything started to change.
