What up guys, how's it going? Jason here. Figured I'd check in live. I just got done recording a podcast, so that was pretty cool. And I just got done getting my taxes done, so that's what's up. So hopefully y'all had better luck on taxes than I had, but unfortunately that is our American duty. To pay them taxes. So we gotta do what we gotta do. All right, I'm gonna wait just a few minutes here before y'all— before I start reading this thing to y'all. All right, what y'all think about my cool table setup back there? I figured out hanging up there, this is JT Books, The Green Glitch, author, speaker, filmmaker. So I'm pretty pumped, guys, because this weekend I get to head out to, um, Florida. I'm actually headed down to Florida and, uh, to walk on the red carpet and stuff like that for the Christian, uh, Film Festival, which is really cool. So I'm actually gonna fly from Asheville down to, um, um, what's it called down there, Coral Springs. So kind of close down there to Miami, which is going to be pretty awesome. So I'll send you guys some cool pictures. Maybe I'll go live from down there, I don't know. But, um, y'all, I am gonna read a chapter from my book, which is going to be super cool. So, um, share this with your friends, okay? And also, I went ahead and I shared the, um, link to my book on Amazon inside the description. So, you know, go down there, check out that description, and, uh, search for the book, guys. Search for the Green Book. So Um, again, here it is right here, The Green Glitch by Jason Tremko. Check it out, okay? And I'm very proud of this, guys, because it is published by Christian Faith Publishing, which is super cool. I worked my tail off on this for about a year, so read it, okay? Read it. It's been getting some good momentum. I've been, um, you know, on several podcasts. I've been getting some good feedback, good comments. I'm going to make a little bit of a video and kind of show you some of those comments and feedbacks and things that I've been getting from people. It's very interesting. I actually had a, um, a Canadian dispensary owner reach out to me, and it was very interesting because, you know, he, he basically confirmed everything that I'm saying. He's the guy that used to make all these high-potency products and things like that. Well, long story short, his kid ended up getting addicted to high-potency products and ended up stacking it with antidepressant medication, kind of like what I talk about in my book. And it ended up leading to him actually passing away. So very sad story, you know, but it just kind of adds weight to what I'm talking about. You know, people that think marijuana is a game, they're not looking hard enough. You know, people that think there's— it's not that serious, they're not looking that hard, you know. And I— the thing I get a lot is, you know, marijuana helps me out. Okay, that's great, and maybe it does. I'm not here to say it doesn't. Okay, first of all, I'm not a doctor, um, but what I did do is I've researched works from doctors. Okay, I have like 130 references, guys. It's like 15 pages of references in here from mental health specialists, psychologists, you know, journal, medical journals, Um, I mean, case after case after case, you know. Not only that, I have actual case studies. I have real-life testimonials from people who were addicted to high-potency products and suffered the consequences of it, you know. So to say there's nothing wrong with it and that it doesn't affect me, honestly, that's, that's kind of a selfish way to look at it, right? Because just because it doesn't affect you doesn't mean that it's not affecting an entire generation. Okay, because I'm concerned about the kids. Just yesterday I had two kids come to me and talk about their, their addictions, you know, and they, they've been smoking and vaping and all this stuff since they were like 10 and 11 years old, and they just can't quit. Like, I just can't quit, I don't know what to do, you know. And, and it's sad because, you know, some of these kids, they want to quit, but then when they go home, their parents are smoking in the house, you know. But their parents aren't the ones dealing with the, the grades that are struggling in school and things like that. So, you know, it's just, it's just really interesting concept to me. Um, you know, and I still can't get away from the facts that 44% of parents, you know, or well, let me correct myself, 44% of users will advance on to harder drugs. Okay, and most people that are addicted to drugs and drug addicts, hard drug users, will always tell you that they started with marijuana. You know, I don't know why that's so hard for people to understand that concept, you know. And because I had somebody tell me today, they said, well, you know, maybe it's just the person that's the problem. Maybe it's not the drugs. Maybe it's the problem with the person because they can't say no, they can't stop using. Okay, if addiction was that easy, we probably wouldn't have people paying $20,000 to get into treatment programs and rehab programs. So, you know, the reality is addiction is that powerful. I saw it with my own daughter. The struggle that she had to overcome her marijuana addiction. And let's keep in mind, this is starting at 10 and 11, sometimes earlier than that, years old. These are kids, you know. So by the time they've been so addicted to it— and, and the thing that's crazy is the, the marijuana market is an addiction industry that is seeking out and targeting young individuals, is targeting out kids. All right, and you know, I just, I, I have trouble accepting that I, I'm fine with it, it doesn't bother me. Okay, when there's millions of kids that are struggling and their parents don't even know, it's proven, the stats are proven, I talk about in my book, 60% of parents don't even know that their kids are smoking. So there's addiction going on behind the doors of school in little kids' lives, and we're just going on like nothing's happening. Why the vaping industry, the marijuana industry is just swarming our kids, hooking them with addiction that's going to carry them into life. And they have a 50% chance, just under 50% chance, at getting addicted to harder drugs, you know. So if somebody can honestly look me in the eyes and tell me that I'm crazy for talking about it, then, you know, I don't know. God, God help us, you know. But, you know, it's interesting, you know, I get a lot of people that agree with me And of course I'm gonna have some people that don't agree with me. You know, you can always find what you're looking for. If you're finding the, uh, the positives of marijuana, that's great, okay? But again, that's only one side of the story, okay? This book here talks about the other side of the story, okay? And I do acknowledge that some people benefit from the health benefits in here, you know, but I did some more research. Very interesting, um, you know, all these people that claim medical marijuana let me pull up the stat because I actually just found it yesterday, and I wish I would have wrote about it in my book. I didn't think about it in time, but I— like I said, I learned something new every single time I research. And basically, I'm researching more every time somebody tells me something, every time somebody argues against what I'm saying, I go do some research, you know. I'm like, you know, it's not that hard to find this information. Um, but here's, here's what I found the other day, okay? Let me pull up on here because I wrote it down. Okay, most users— this is crazy— most users who say they use medically are not authorized by a doctor to do so. As a matter of fact, one study reported that only 23.4% of self-identified users had formal authorization. So only 23% of self-identified users had a formal authorization. So some reports are now showing that between 28% to even over 50% of medical marijuana users are, are meeting the medical requirements for cannabis use disorder. Okay. So almost half of people who are using medically marijuana, okay, are showing cannabis use disorder symptoms, which means they're abusing marijuana. All right. So, you know, it's easy to say, oh, it's medical, it's helping me. Okay. Well, You know, you're— if you're meeting the medical thresholds based off medical requirements for cannabis use disorder, maybe there's a bigger problem going on here. And on top of that, only 23% of people who are claiming to be medical marijuana users are even actually formally authorized to do so. So once again, it's a disguise. It's, it's on the surface, it looks like it's great, it's helping people, and If you're actually paying attention to what's going on in modern medical research, there's tons of stuff coming out right now that shows there's no medical support, you know, that, that backs up the claims that it helps people. Okay, maybe some people, you know, it's medical, it's like taking a vitamin, you know, some people are going to say it helps them, some people say it doesn't. Okay, um, so we can't prove that it is helping everybody. Okay, but what you can prove are the statistics that I talk about in this book. Okay, so, you know, I'm not here to demonize people. What I'm going to tell people to do is I'm going to tell them to read this book and then tell me if I don't know what I'm talking about, okay? Because this book is very clear. It is very easy to read and it's very clear, and it has hundreds of references. This is a research-based book, y'all. I'm a normal person who dug into the weeds, okay? Now, with that being said, I am experienced, okay, because I am a school teacher for 6 years. I was a 20-year combat veteran with 9 years of experience in recruiting, where I've, where I've interviewed thousands of young people from all across this country, all the way from California all the way to Virginia and everywhere in between, where I've had to interview hundreds and thousands of high school kids, and I've turned away thousands of people for marijuana use. You can't join the military if you don't want to let the, the weed go, okay? And the reality is everybody just about was high, okay? And the sad part is most people didn't want to give up the marijuana. They would rather keep smoking the weed than to go join the military. Every once in a while somebody will prove me wrong on that, but most people would rather keep smoking, okay? So don't tell me it doesn't have a hold on people when they're willing to to, uh, you know, hold themselves back in life because they would rather smoke. Okay, I'm not saying that's the only reason, but that is a big reason. And I know what I'm talking about because I was a station commander in recruiting for 9 years. Okay, I was responsible for answering for the success and failure of meeting the military's recruiting mission. And the number one causes that held people back from joining the military and contribute to my success and failure was one thing, and that is marijuana. So I know what I'm talking about, okay? And I see it in the schools every single day. I talk to kids, I interview kids. I interviewed kids for my, um, my film. You know, it's one thing to hear from me, but when you hear it from kids giving their story and their testimony, then there you go. I mean, what else do you need to hear from? Okay, but anyways, I've talked a lot, so now let me get into reading this book. Okay, so I'm gonna read a little bit. You know, one thing I've really been looking at is the stats on What's Behind the Steering Wheel. Okay, this is chapter 8, What's Behind the Steering Wheel. Okay, so this is interesting. So I'm just going to jump in here. Okay, now one thing I didn't talk about in here that I wish I would have is that marijuana may be legal in several states right now. Okay, but it is still illegal to smoke marijuana of any form, to include edibles, behind the wheel in a car. So I want you to think about that, okay? With that being said, I'm just— I'm gonna jump in here. So what's behind the steering wheel? The book says, have you ever thought about how many drivers on the road are under the influence of THC products? Everyone knows that alcohol and driving a vehicle do not go well together. However, you never hear about people driving under the influence of marijuana. It should honestly scare you to know about how many people are under the influence of high-potency THC products while driving. And this view— in this chapter, we are going to analyze more data to get some clarity about who is on the road. Personally, I think this is also an underrated and underreported topic that should be highly investigated. What better place to start searching for answers than by digging into a coroner report? So if you don't know what a coroner is, you know, these are basically autopsy reports and things like that. Okay, so this is interesting. Get ready. A research team analyzed the records from a coroner located in Montgomery County, Ohio. The researchers analyzed several death records over a 6-year time period from 2019 to 2024. So this is where it gets interesting. A lot of people think, um, you know, I can get information instantly. No, the good reports are reports taken from large samples of people or large samples of product over a long period of time. So we're talking 2019 to 2024, okay? So 6-year time period. They analyze the coroner reports just from this one county in Ohio, okay? So get ready, it's about to blow your mind, guys. It says, shockingly, close to half 42%. That number is very common, isn't it? 42, 44, you know, those are the numbers that I throw out there a lot. But nearly half, 42%, of drivers killed in automobile crashes tested positive for THC in the blood. So let's put that in perspective. Almost half of the drivers who died in Montgomery County, Ohio during this time frame were under the influence of THC. Do you think that's just coincidence? Okay, and now here's what some people are going to say. They're going to say, well, you can't prove that they smoked it before they drove. That's true, because modern marijuana stays in your system for 3 to 4 months in some occasions, depending what format. Okay, um, so I did research on that. Okay, and the reality is right now, based off another study, 53% of marijuana users have confessed to smoking marijuana or taking edibles 1 hour before driving their vehicle. Very interesting, isn't it? 53%, but then 42% of them had marijuana in their system on this coroner report. Okay, let's continue. In the cases of 246 deceased drivers, each had their blood tested for THC as part of the autopsy toxicology process. Because these are coroner-drawn blood samples, typically within hours of death, The THC levels reflected usage close in time to the crash, recent ingestion. Okay, so the THC levels reflected usage close in time to the crash, so the coroner can detect that. Okay, the most important result was the high prevalence of THC positivity in fatal crashes, where 103 out of 246 drivers, which is 41.9, round up to 42%, tested positive for active THC in their system. The researchers also found that the THC concentrations in blood were very high. Among the THC-positive cases, the average concentration was 30.7 nanograms per milliliter, a blood level well above impairment thresholds. I find this very disturbing. We have already spoken about the medical issues in the— and the effects of THC in education. If a person cannot stay focused during the educational part of their day, what makes us believe that they can pay attention to their driving? Not to mention how many drivers are distracted from cell phones and everything else that is already going on in the car. But once again, let's push to legalize the drug, right? I guess 42% was not a big enough number for some people to become concerned. All right, so here's what I want you to think about. That was one county. Okay, let's, let's think on a bigger scale. 53% of people driving on the road are consuming high-potency marijuana products, which are proven— I talk about them more in this book— to slow down reaction time. And the only reason it doesn't hold up in court right now is because the legal system doesn't have a way to detect when you used it last. Okay, but the coroner can detect that. Okay, so basically you have to be dead before they can detect that. Um, but they are developing new information and new systems and new technology to do that. As a matter of fact, the state of Texas just put away a 17-year-old kid for life because he was driving under the influence of high-potency marijuana and he killed 6 innocent people. So you're going to see more information coming out about this. Like it, love it, hate it, it's the truth. And that's what I write about, guys. Read this book, it will help you out, it will change your life. Now here's what I tell you, if you want to continue smoking, that's on you, but I ask you to consider our kids who are starting addiction age of 10 and 11 years old, guys. So that's all I gotta say. God bless. And if you buy this book you get to use this as a ticket to win an Xbox that I'm giving away here in about a month. So tag it, share it, The Green Glitch. When you go to Amazon, you got to search The Green Glitch Jason Tremko, okay? Or you click the link down below in the description and it takes you straight to it on Amazon. All right, y'all, peace out. Love y'all. Not here to judge y'all. Just preaching truth. All right, let me see where I end this thing. Here we go. Later, guys.
