Does the Bible leave room for Aliens? Episode 2 of Beyond the Glitch Podcast.

In this episode of the Beyond the Glitch podcast, host Jason Tremko explores whether Scripture permits the existence of extraterrestrial life. He begins by noting the cultural fascination with aliens, citing recent Pentagon UFO disclosures and public polls that show 60‑75 % of people believe in aliens and 40‑50 % believe in demons. Tremko then examines key biblical passages—Genesis 1:1, Psalm 19:1, Isaiah 6, Ezekiel 1, Revelation 4—highlighting that the Bible describes a multitude of non‑human, intelligent beings (seraphim, cherubim, living creatures) created to worship God. He asks whether such beings would need salvation and how the gospel’s universal scope might apply to them. Throughout, he warns listeners not to elevate alleged aliens to deity status, emphasizing that any extraterrestrial creation would still be under God’s authority. Tremko shares personal anecdotes from his 20‑year military career, including work on Pentagon UFO intelligence, and references the film Disclosure Day as a cultural example of alien worship. He connects human curiosity about the cosmos to the biblical notion that “eternity is set in the heart” (Ecclesiastes 3:11), suggesting that the search for aliens may reflect a deeper spiritual longing for God. The episode concludes with a challenge: if alien life were confirmed tomorrow, would it change your faith? Tremko answers that it would not, but would enhance his belief in God’s creative power, and he promotes his documentary “The Green Glitch: What’s Behind the Devil’s Lettuce.”

Hello everyone, I hope everybody's doing well tonight. I am your host Jason Tremko, and I am excited to welcome you to a new episode of Beyond the Glitch. So tonight we are going to take a little bit of a turn. Instead of talking about my normal stuff, tonight we're going to talk about the question, does the Bible leave room for aliens. Okay, so I went out this week and I saw the movie that's in theaters right now called Disclosure Day, and it was very interesting to me. Um, you know, I will say Steven Spielberg kind of, uh, tried to make it to where people are portrayed as worshiping these aliens as a powerful deity. And, um, you know, it's kind of interesting to me. So I did some research on that. I'm not going to jump too far ahead, but I think this, this podcast tonight will help you have a different understanding, a different perspective about aliens. And we're going to really answer that question: does the Bible leave room for aliens? So without further ado, let's go ahead and get started. Welcome to Beyond the Glitch, the podcast where we expose the darkness behind the issues affecting our lives and bring truth, hope, and healing into the light. From addiction and mental health to culture, faith, and the stories people are afraid to tell, nothing is off limits. I'm Jason Tremko, and together we're going beyond the glitch.
This is episode 2 of Beyond the Glitch. Today's episode will explore a unique question. Does the Bible leave room for aliens? There are a lot of theories and ideas going around these days about aliens. People have questions. Are aliens real? Is the government hiding information? We see files being released all over social media that are claimed to be true encounters. More importantly, people are starting to consider the possibility that aliens could be deities, demons, or even angels. What does the Bible say about this subject? Does it say anything about it at all? Let's dive into a subject that a lot of pastors, teachers, and officials like to ignore. This is likely because they do not want to miscommunicate something. Is it wrong to question the existence of aliens? Is it wrong to discuss the possibility that aliens do exist? What are your thoughts on this? Welcome to another episode of Beyond the Glitch, where we discuss matters of importance. Let's explore this topic together.
All right, so I want to start us off with the first question here, and that question is: if NASA announced tomorrow that intelligent life had been discovered on another planet, would that destroy Christianity, or would it actually fit within the Bible's worldview? I want you to think about that. So I'm gonna ask you tonight, do you believe aliens exist? And would you— would discovering aliens or alien life affect your faith and the way that you see the world? So let's jump in. Okay, so let's, let's think about this. So, you know, I'm curious to know, and maybe you guys can tell me, why are, why are so many people fascinated with aliens. I don't know if you know, but the Pentagon just recently, you know, uh, based off President Trump's orders to release files, you know, from historical data, you know, since basically all the way back to the 1940s. And there's been a lot of little videos and information, things that have been, been coming out on social media and all over the news and stuff like that. And some of it's pretty fascinating, some of it's pretty interesting to see. You know, so I started doing some research in here and I found out that 60 to 75% of people actually believe in aliens. It's pretty interesting. I didn't think it was that big of a number, but actually almost 75%. Think about that, 75%. Almost everybody that you meet believes in aliens, okay, of some type. Um, so then I started researching, you know, again because a lot of people nowadays, you know, you hear pastors talk about it and things like that. They'll say, you know, aliens are actually demons, or maybe they're angels, or who knows what. Okay, um, we're gonna get into that a little bit more, but, you know, I did some research and found out that 40 to 50% of people believe in demons, you know, so just a little bit less than aliens. It's kind of surprising to me. I don't know how you could believe in in aliens but not believe in demons, right? Um, but there's people out there. Uh, 83% of Americans believe in a higher power of some form, you know, some form of a, of a, of a god, uh, deity of some sort. But interestingly, only 50% of people believe 100% in God, the God of the Bible. So 50%, you know, so So, you know, a lot of people believe in a higher power, in a deity. They believe in demons, they believe in aliens. Okay, but it's interesting to know that all that supernatural stuff that we can't see, more people believe in that than they believe in an actual God, the God of the Bible. It's very interesting to me. I don't know, you can have one without the other, but maybe, maybe tonight's lesson will kind of help you, you know, deepen your faith a little bit. Um, so let's take a look at it here. Let's continue. All right, so let's look at what the Bible actually says. All right, what does the Bible say about aliens? Okay, so let's get in here. So the first scripture that I found is actually in Genesis chapter 1, verses 1, and that says— okay, that actually says in Genesis 1:1, In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. So, you know, I try to read the Bible verbatim, you know. I don't try to add to it, I don't try to take away from it. It says he created the heavens and the earth. Okay, so what are— what is the heavens, you know? Um, is heaven meaning heaven where we go when we die, or is heavens, you know, the vastness of the universe, right? I believe, you know, Earth is just a tiny little speckle, which we know it is scientifically speaking, of the greater universe, okay, the greater solar system. But I believe that, you know, God created all of that. He created the heavens and the earth, okay. But it's interesting to me that he created the heavens first. So it's like the heavens— he created the heavens and then the earth, okay. And we also know that God created mankind in his image. Which is very interesting to know, okay? Because if he created mankind in his image, you know, that, that kind of tells me that maybe there's the possibility that there is other life forms that are intelligent just like humans, okay? But he created us in his image, okay? And we're going to jump into the Bible a little bit more. Maybe that'll, that'll make some more sense to you. So it's going to be kind of a little, a little bit of a deep conversation tonight. I'm definitely looking forward to hearing comments from you, questions. Ideas, you know, because I don't know everything, you know, not even close. But I'm just trying to give you guys some things to think about. So, um, you know, the Bible begins, right, like we said, with God as the creator of everything. Okay, the universe, we need to understand, is not an accident. It is intentional. And if God created billions of galaxies, could he have created life somewhere else? What do you think? The Bible doesn't say he did, okay, but it also doesn't say that he didn't, okay? But it does say that he created the heavens and the earth. So the focus of scripture is God's relationship with humanity, not necessarily a catalog of everything that he created, okay? Um, I'm an author, you know, so a lot of times I'll tell people, you know, most authors don't just write one book. Okay, most authors will write 2 books, 3 books, they'll continue writing books. So we know God is the author of the Bible, you know, through divine inspiration into the people that wrote the Bible, okay, such as, you know, the Apostle Paul and, you know, many other people, um, in scripture. All right, but what I'm getting at is that God can create whatever he wants, whenever he wants, however he wants. So something to think about, um, you know, but nothing is an accident with God, okay? He knew exactly what he was doing. So my question for you is, does God's creation stop at the earth, or could his creativity extend far beyond what we know? And I want you to hold that thought in your mind because there's another scripture later we're going to read. But for now, let's jump into Psalms 19:1. It says, the heavens declare the glory of God, and the firmament showeth his handiwork. Okay, so this is basically talking about how God reveals his handiwork through the glory of God by his creation. You know, he shows us, uh, the power and majesty in, in the heavens. You know, and I don't know about you, sometimes I'll sit out on my porch and I just look up to the skies and I'm just like, wow, you know, how could anybody deny the existence of God just by looking at that? Like, I don't believe that that could be an accident. Everything's just too perfect, you know. You look at everything that makes a human body function, you know, everything that makes the solar system function just perfectly, you know. There's, there's planets that shield meteors from hitting the Earth, you know. We have the perfect atmosphere and climate, you know, to keep things running in this, this, this planet that we live on called Earth. So You know, I just don't see how it can be an accident. You know, I do believe it is handiwork, um, and the heavens declare that, you know, according to Psalms 19:1, they declare the glory of his handiwork, the glory of God. Um, you know, so today, you know, we can look through the telescopes, right, and we can see into the galaxies and we can see billions of galaxies and stars and, and it's just like Wow, it's right in front of our faces, the creation and power that, that God has brought to us in his handiwork. So, um, really, the larger the universe appears to be, the bigger God appears to be, in my opinion. So why would God create such a vast universe if Earth is the only inhabited world? I want you to think about that. So You know, here we have this big powerful God, you know, who are we to doubt that he could potentially create aliens, right? We don't know. Um, but let's keep digging in here. All right, here's, here's something that's very interesting, okay? Intelligent beings already exist, okay? I'm not talking about humans, okay? There's 3, 3 sections of the Bible we're going to get into. Um, everybody knows what an angel is, okay? But then there's, there's different kinds of creatures. You know, you got the cherubim, you got the seraphim, you got the heavenly hosts. And these are referenced in 3 different parts of the Bible, um, and they were seen in visions, you know, with Isaiah and Ezekiel and John in Revelation. So I'm just going to read a little bit from those. All right, so let's, let's look at what Isaiah chapter 6 says. All right, let me pull that up. Isaiah chapter 6, it says— and this is, this is Isaiah's commission— it says, in the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord high and exalted, seated on a throne, and the train of his robe filled the temple. Above him were seraphim Okay, now this is where it describes them. Each had 6 wings. With 2 wings they covered their faces, with 2 they covered their feet, and with 2 they were flying. And they were calling to one another, and they were saying, Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty! The whole earth is full of his glory. So here we are, you know, we have these interesting creatures, you know, known as seraphim, and they are glorifying God. Right, these are intelligent beings created by God for the purpose of glorifying God. Um, okay, now let's look at what Ezekiel says in chapter 1, verses 3 through 27. Okay, so here's Ezekiel now. He has a vision. He says living creatures was what looked something like a vault, sparkling like crystal and awesome. Under their vault under— excuse me— under the vault. Their wings were stretched out one toward the other, and each had two wings covering his body. When the creatures moved, I hear the sound of their wings like the roar of rushing waters, like the voice of the Almighty, like the tumult of an army. When they stood still, they lowered their wings. Then there came a voice from above the vault over their heads as they stood with lowered wings. Above the vault over their heads was what looked like a throne of lapis lazuli. Hopefully I said that right. And high above on the throne was a figure like that of a man. I saw that from what appeared to be his waist up, he looked like glowing metal, as if full of fire, and that from there down he looked like fire, and brilliant lights surrounded him. So if you look at some of these pictures that you see coming out with these reports I'm not saying that's what these are, but it kind of has that appearance on some of them, right? So is it aliens? We don't know, right? Is it demons? We don't know. Um, what do you think? I'm interested to hear your opinion on that. Okay, and then we'll look at, uh, Revelations. Okay, now Revelations is, you know, full of symbology and things like that, but let's, let's read what this says. Revelations 4:1-11 says, after this— this is Paul, as I was— this is John the Revelator, okay? And he says, before me was a door standing open in heaven, and the voice I had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, come up here and I will show you what must take place after this. At once I was in the spirit, and there before me was a throne in heaven with someone sitting on it. And the one who sat there had the appearance of jasper and ruby. A rainbow that shone like an emerald encircled the throne. Surrounded— surrounding the throne were 24 other thrones, and seated on them were 24 elders. They were dressed in white and had crowns of gold in their heads. Okay, this is where it gets interesting. From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings, and peals of thunder. In front of the throne, 7 lamps were blazing. These are the 7 spirits of God. Also in front of the throne, there was what looked like a sea of glass, clear as crystal. In the center around the throne were 4 living creatures, and they— this is, this is where it gets interesting— they were covered with eyes in front and also in back, covered in eyes. The first living creature was like a lion. The second was like an ox. The third had a face like a man. And the fourth was like a flying eagle. Each of the four flying creatures— correction, each of the four living creatures— had six wings and was covered with eyes all around, even under its wings. Day and night they never stopped saying, Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is to come. Whenever the living creatures give glory, honor, and thanks to him who sits on the throne, and who lives forever and ever. The 24 elders fall down before him who sits on the throne and worship him who lives forever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say, you are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being. So as you can see, there's a lot of things that were created that are not necessarily human, that are intelligent beings, and they were designed to worship God. Okay, it's very interesting. So, you know, we shouldn't be so surprised because intelligent beings already do exist, right? Okay, so could aliens fit into Christianity? What do you think? All right, humanity is uniquely made in God's image. Okay, so what alien civilizations— now this is, this is something that I think about. Okay, so, you know, when you think about aliens, you know, for everything we've read so far, it kind of does leave room, you know, for, for aliens to exist, um, you know, in the Bible. Um, but I was thinking about this, you know, would aliens need salvation? Right? Because if you think back to Jesus's disciples, right, he was asking um, or the disciples were asking Jesus, you know, what signs do we need to look for, for your coming, for your return? And Jesus gives them the list of things, and one of those things that he tells them is that basically the whole world needs to have the opportunity to receive the gospel, right? So, you know, I was thinking about this, you know, aliens— if they are aliens like we envision, or like Steven Spielberg envisions them, Does that apply to them? Do they need to have the opportunity for salvation? Or maybe they're not aliens at all. Maybe they are these heavenly beings that the scripture says, um, or in the visions that we, that we read about. Or maybe, maybe they're demons. I don't know. Okay, I've heard pastors talk about that, you know, they're demons. I've heard pastors talk about they're angels. You know, what do you think? What do you think they are? Um, obviously there's something, okay? Um, you know, there's, there's a lot of evidence out there that things are being seen and people are encountering these things. So I don't know, it's interesting. Um, let's keep going here. All right, so my question for you is, could God's creation be bigger than our understanding? What do you think? Could it be bigger than our understanding? And should it be bigger than our understanding? You know, there's probably a lot of things that we don't need to know or don't need to understand. So hold that thought, okay, as we continue forward. All right, so aliens are another creation of God. You know, a lot of people think that, um, you know. Now here's, here's kind of where I want to warn you, okay, because we have to be careful, okay? You watch, you know, this movie Disclosure Day, like I said earlier at the beginning, you got Steven Spielberg who's trying to push the agenda that these are deities and basically people are going to worship them. And interestingly, people probably will worship them, um, but I think as believers we need to be very, very careful because, you know, just because aliens may exist, if that's what it is, doesn't mean that they have a higher power than God, okay? Because as we read already, these— with these, these scriptures, God's creation is nothing new. Like, this is nothing new. Aliens— if we found out tomorrow aliens exist, for me it wouldn't change anything about my faith. If anything, it would just be like more enhanced because I'm like, wow, you know, these are creatures that God created, right? And maybe they're worshiping him. We don't know. Maybe they're these, just like these other creatures that he created, uh, in, in, you know, the past to worship him. So I don't know. I'd be interested to know what you think about it. Um, but be careful, you know, don't ever exalt something over God himself. Even though Steven Spielberg may say to do that or may try to influence you to do that. Um, you know, and I was talking to my pastor about this, you know, I kind of asked his opinion. I was like, you know, what do you think about aliens? You know, so he had mentioned, and I agree with him, you know, that when the rapture happens and millions of Christians disappear off this planet, this could be one of the ways that the government tries to justify it and explain it. You know, imagine that people, you know, we have all this evidence coming down about aliens and stuff, you know, millions of Christians disappear. It's an easy story to believe, right? Um, so that could be the case, you know, maybe it is, maybe it's, uh, part of the setup for the end times, you know. Um, something's got to happen, you know, something's got to be there to make people believe. And also, um, It kind of sets up the Antichrist, you know. So I don't know, just something I was thinking about, and I agree with it. I think it's a perspective that we need to consider. And, you know, just be careful. Be careful what you believe. Um, they are not gods. Aliens are not gods. They are not deities. They are, if anything, God's creation, just like everything else. In my opinion. Okay, and if you read the scripture like we did, it kind of makes sense, right? So let's keep going here. All right, um, I'd be curious to know, what do you think about, you know, ghosts, guys? You know, a lot of people say, you know, I believe in ghosts and things like that. And actually, the numbers are pretty high, um, if you research how many people, um, have experienced some kind of a supernatural encounter, the numbers are very high. Okay, um, and what I believe is that demons will show you what you want to see. All right, I think if you test the spirits, you know, like the scripture says not to, I think they're going to show you what you want to see. You know, you want to see a ghost, they're going to show you a ghost, right? I think if you want to see an alien, they're going to show you an alien. Um, even if it's not one of God's creations, if it's demonic, you know, I think they'll— they can impersonate anything. That's what I believe. Um, so, you know, I think we need to be careful. Um, you know, so don't, don't spend so much time seeking out these things, um, to the point where you're, you're kind of testing the spirits is what I'm saying. You got to be careful with that. Um, you know, I think, I think you're gonna see, you know, new religions being formed, you know, with, uh, aliens as deities and things like that. So be careful, that's what I'm saying, be careful. Um, so what, you know, what do you guys think about UFOs? Um, you know, if you've watched any of these encounters, maybe tell me in the comments, you know, what are some things that stood out to you? And the government reports, you know, the military pilot encounters and things like that. And I'll tell you all this, you know, I was in the military 20 years. Um, I remember one time I had a soldier, okay, that worked for me when I was a recruiter. And, uh, you know, he, he just— I'll say it like it is— he was kind of a nerdy fella, all right? Um, and I kind of figured out that he was an intelligence guy And he actually worked on the, uh, mission at the Pentagon that was responsible for kind of spying on these alien crafts and things like that. That's about all he could tell me. He wasn't able to tell me any more details, unfortunately, um, because of the classification, you know. Now a lot of that stuff's being declassified, information's coming out, um, you can research it and find it yourself, um, but You know, it's like, man, you know, so this stuff is really being investigated. That means there is something out there. Okay, most politicians and leaders have acknowledged it, so there is something out there. Now, pastors, preachers, teachers, you know, I've watched a lot of them discussing this subject, and some of them try not to talk about it. You know, they try to dodge it. They don't want to talk about it. Um, you know, they say it doesn't really matter, which in a lot of ways it really doesn't matter, you know, because if you believe in God you will, you know, your faith will not be questioned, um, even if Spielberg wants us to be questioning it, um, you know. But I, I think, you know, something that we do need to talk about, right? Because you're going to see more and more of this stuff coming out, and, and if people are not careful, they can easily be misled into believing that these creatures are God or forms of God or variations of God or whatever, you know, people are believing out there. So you got to be careful, you know, and I think we need to, we need to start talking about it because it's a reality that we're living in. But, you know, I'm curious to know what you guys think about these, you know, reports and things that are coming out. Now, here's the bigger question. All right, maybe the real question isn't whether or not aliens actually exist. Maybe it's why we're looking for them in the first place, you know. Why are we looking for them? So let's, let's read what Ecclesiastes 3:11 says, guys. Let's take a look here. All right, Ecclesiastes 3:11, and it says, he hath set eternity in their heart. Okay, so what does that mean? Okay, human— humans long for answers beyond this world. You know, we've always been curious. I mean, that's what started, um, you know, all these historical you know, um, you know, people, astronomers and things like that who have learned so much about space, you know, Einstein and all these wise guys. Excuse me, so my allergies are bugging me a little bit, you know, but humans have always had an interest in things beyond this world, okay, which really, you know, kind of Concerns me that only 50% of people in America truly actually believe 100% that God is who he says he is. Okay, as much as we've learned and seen and the interest that we have, you think more people would believe in it, right? There's obviously something in us that is attracted to that, you know. And I always tell people it's because, you know, we are created in God's image. So that, that inside of us, that, that, um, still small voice, I believe it constantly seeks God, whether we realize it or not. You know, that's what I believe. I think we're connected to him whether we choose to accept that or not, because we are created in his image. Just something to think about there. You know, we're naturally curious about this world, and we're also curious about eternity. You know, people, you know, there's Netflix shows and people are always talking about it. You know, what, what happens when I die? Right? What happens? Where do I go? Do I really go anywhere? Do I just turn into dust, or do I, do I become a ghost? Do I go to heaven? Do I go to hell?
Right?
People are always curious about these questions. Um, so we're naturally curious about eternity. Um, and in Ecclesiastes it says he has set eternity in their heart. You know, so what that means is we seek meaning, purpose, and transcendence, and our interest in aliens may reflect a deeper spiritual longing. Um, like I said, I think naturally, whether we realize it or not, our spirit naturally seeks God because we are created in his image. Kind of like a compass, you know. I'm in the military— or was in the military, I'm retired now— but, you know, a compass always seeks north. It's always pointing north no matter which direction you turn it. And I think our spirit man inside of us that God gave us naturally seeks him whether we believe in him or not. I believe it's like a— it's crying out for him, it's seeking him all the time. And I think maybe us being so curious in aliens is a deeper spiritual, uh, you know, longing, you know, from us naturally. Um, so the question is, are people truly searching for aliens, or are they searching for something greater than themselves? I'll let you think about that for a second. All right, so again, you know, we've talked about other heavenly beings that were mentioned in the scripture, right? The types of angels, um, God's messengers, his servants, archangels, Um, you know, there's just been a whole bunch of creatures, you know. Some of them are kind of creepy, you know, a bunch of eyeballs on and stuff, you know. Um, you know, guardians of God's throne, you know, the cherubim, the seraphim, um, you know, all these things seek God, you know, and they are— they were designed to worship him, and they say holy, holy, holy is the Lord. So It's pretty interesting to me. So again, the Bible does not tell us whether aliens exist, but it clearly tells us that we are not the only intelligent beings that God has created. The real question isn't whether life exists somewhere else in the universe, but rather the question is whether we know the Creator of the universe himself. All right, so maybe instead of searching out life with aliens, you know, are they, are they real? And you know, this is— there's so much information, like, I'm so excited to know, and are aliens real or not? You know, instead of seeking those things out, how about you focus more on the Creator himself, right? Because I do believe that if aliens are real, then I believe God created them. All right, because there's so much scripture that we read that, that kind of leaves room. It does leave room for aliens. Okay, but maybe aliens aren't what we exactly what we think they are. I'll leave that up for you to decide. And we're going to close with one more scripture here, Psalms 19:1. It says, the heavens declare the glory of God and the firmament Showeth his handiwork. So the heavens, okay, most time when you think about aliens, you're looking up to the heavens, right? So if God did create aliens, they may be, they may be in existence to glorify God, just like those, those creatures that we read about in Ezekiel and Isaiah. I don't know. Um, and if you look at some of those pictures, you know that I showed you earlier, they almost look like what was described in Ezekiel and Isaiah. So I don't know, it's very interesting. Um, what do you think, guys? Leave some, leave some comments in here and, uh, tell me what you think. I'm very interested to know. Um, and the closing challenge question I have for you is this, guys: if alien life were discovered tomorrow, Would it change your faith? For me, it would not change my faith at all. If anything, it would enhance my faith. And the other thing is, are you looking for aliens or are you searching for God? That's what I want to leave you with. And I'm going to go ahead and show you guys a trailer for my latest film, The Green Glitch: What's Behind the Devil's Lettuce, if you haven't seen it yet. I would like for you to check it out. All right, it's a powerful documentary. And oh yeah, on that note, I actually just got accepted into 2 more film festivals. So I now actually have 8 film festivals, um, that I've been accepted to, and I've won 3 for best documentary. So things are happening, and that's all because of you guys, and I appreciate your support, appreciate everything that you're doing. And if you're interested in being a guest on my show or in my podcast I would invite you to come and get on here sometime. You know, if you got something that's burning on your heart, you know, something that's interesting to you, it could even be a follow-up to, to this show here or, you know, any of the other subjects that I talk about. Just let me know. I'd love to get you on here and we'll have a great conversation. So it's much more fun with two people on here. So with that being said, guys, thanks for tuning in to Beyond the Glitch. Enjoy the trailer and we'll see you next time. God bless.
I didn't write The Green Glitch: What's Behind the Devil's Lettuce because it was trendy. I wrote it because I couldn't ignore what I kept seeing again and again right in front of me. For years, I served as a youth pastor. I sat across from teenagers who were searching for direction, for identity, for truth. I watched them wrestle with pressure, anxiety, and the pull of a culture that kept telling them, "This is normal. This is harmless." But what I saw didn't look harmless. I saw dependency. I saw confusion. I saw young lives quietly drifting off course. During my 20 years in the military, 9 years as a recruiting station commander, I interviewed thousands of young men and women. Thousands. And one pattern kept repeating itself. Talented, capable, motivated individuals disqualified. Not because they lacked discipline. Not because they lacked heart. But because they couldn't let go of marijuana. They would sit across from me and admit it. They tried to stop, but they couldn't. That's not casual use. That's not harmless. That's addiction. Later, I stepped into the classroom as a high school teacher. For 6 years, I've had students trust me with their stories, real stories. Not headlines, not statistics. Confessions. Students opening up about their dependence on vapes and high-potency THC products. Kids who feel stuck. Kids who don't feel in control anymore. Kids who were told this stuff was safe. And now in Western North Carolina, I lead a 12-step recovery program. I sit with people in the fight of their lives, people trying to take their lives back. And I've seen firsthand how this New marijuana is showing up in that fight. Stronger, more addictive, more damaging than what people remember from decades ago. That's why I wrote this book. That's why I made this film. Because what we're dealing with today is not the marijuana of the past. This is something different, something engineered, something powerful. And far too many people are being misled about what it really is. The Green Glitch is my line in the sand. It's a warning. It's a wake-up call. It's a message to parents, to students, to communities. We cannot afford to ignore this any longer. This isn't about judgment. It's about truth. If even one person reads this book or watches this film, if one life is redirected, one family is spared, one future is restored, then every word, every frame, every moment was worth it. The Green Glitch is available on Amazon, It's time to see clearly.
