The Green Glitch Symposium coming to your town soon

All right, how's it going, my Facebook? Well, this is YouTube. Started that out bad. YouTube. Hello, my YouTube community. So I figured I'd get on here, just very excited. I just did a, uh, a podcast with, um, uh, it's called 20 Minutes of Your Time, and very exciting because he's an actual school teacher as well. He teaches middle school, 8th grade. Great fella. And he's talking about the problems with marijuana that he sees in middle school. And, um, you know, me and him, I think, are going to be able to help each other out. He's actually going to be showing the, uh, the film inside their school. So I'm very excited about that. And that's what I'm here to talk to you about, because I got some exciting news, okay? On the 5th of June, okay, it's a Friday night, uh, if you're local, all right, if you're near me in Western North Carolina We will be streaming The Green Glitch: What's Behind the Devil's Lights film live right at Whittier Church, okay, 118 Church Street, Whittier, North Carolina. And, um, I'm gonna give away an Xbox at the end of June, okay? So anybody who attends my symposium where they watch the film and where they, uh, you know, listen and do the Q&A and all that stuff that we're going to hold If they are in that, I'm going to get their information with a raffle ticket, and at the end of the month I will draw and somebody's going to win a brand new Xbox Series X. So you don't want to miss that. Okay, now if you can't make that one on the 5th, I got 2 more things in the works. Okay, I'm actually working on renting out Ruby Cinemas in Franklin, North Carolina, all right, where we can, um, host the symposium there. It's going to be at 10 AM Our target date right now is the 6th of June. I'm still waiting on confirmation. I'll keep you all posted right here on the channel. Um, but then also the week after, I will be at Catamount Cinemas. Um, hopefully it's looking that way. Uh, so we're gonna stream these things in some movie theaters, get some popcorn, come and get some education, and get a chance to win a free Xbox and make a difference in your community, which is what it's all about. Um, I'm not going to waste your time. This stuff that I have to offer you is going to help a lot of people out if you approach it with an open mind and you come ready to learn. So that's what it's all about. Um, I figured I would, uh, read a little chapter— not a chapter, but just a little, little ditty, I guess you could say, a little ditty out of my, uh, um, my book here. Okay, we're gonna go to chapter 5. Chapter 5. Okay, this is actually called The Devil's List. That's this chapter. I'm just going to read a little bit from the beginning of the chapter. Says, I truly believe that we are in spiritual warfare. This has been the case since the creation of mankind. Just think back to what happened in the Garden of Eden. The devil appeared in the form of a snake, and he was able to deceive Adam and Eve. I believe that the devil uses many different methods to deceive mankind. I also think that two of his most frequently used methods are music and drugs. Okay, now I am a musician. I love all kinds of music— metal, Christian metal, hip-hop, rap. I love it all. Okay, but I do think that the devil uses those tools to, to get into people's heads. Okay, I believe that. I believe a form of spiritual warfare. Okay, and guess what? It starts with our kids. It's targeting our kids. If you go to a school nowadays, everybody's wearing headphones, everybody's wearing earbuds. They're always listening to music. Okay, now as a parent, what are they listening to? Okay, if 60% of parents don't know that their kids are smoking pot, I would imagine that's about the same number of parents probably have no clue what kind of stuff their kids are listening to. I would encourage you to check that out. Um, but back to this. Okay, I also think that two of his most frequently used methods are music and drugs. Okay, I have hopefully given you a lot to think about up to now. We have talked about how things talked about things that pretty much anyone can understand. Now I'm going to start talking to you about things that some people may not understand. Those who grow up in church may, may get where I'm coming from in this chapter, while those who oppose spirituality may oppose what I'm talking about. Okay, however, let me encourage you just to have an open mind. I'm not trying to preach to you. Rather, I honestly want to give you some real things to ponder that you may have never thought about before. Okay, to me it is so obvious that there is spiritual warfare going on. The fact that people instantly shut down and rebel against the idea of spirituality shows me clearly that we are in a spiritual battle. There are so many blinders that the enemy places over the eyes of people who need to receive spiritual deliverance from addiction. With that being said, I want to pray for you right now. I pray that you will approach this chapter with an open mind. I pray that you will allow the Holy Spirit to speak to you for the next few minutes in this chapter.. It may just help you overcome your own addiction if you are willing to listen with open eyes, open mind, and open hearts. If not your addiction, then it maybe it will help you be there for someone else who needs to understand what this chapter is all about. Whether you choose to believe in good versus evil or not is all up to you. However, I'm going to give you some true historical information about the history of marijuana. So with open hearts, let's get going. There's a strong spiritual door that is open when drugs are used. This is probably one of the most important chapters in the whole book. You may believe that I have just have— or that I just have an old-fashioned way of thinking. Maybe that is the case. However, could it be that a little more old-fashioned thinking is what we need to get back to in our lives? It would probably help solve a lot of our problems, to be honest. I believe that we would not have so many of the addiction problems in America had we never gotten away from the old-fashioned way of thinking. About drugs to begin with. Most importantly, we need to get back to having Jesus in our lives. Uh-oh, I probably just made someone mad because I threw out the big J, Jesus word, out there. Personally, I find it very interesting that someone who doesn't believe in God would even get mad about spiritual talk. To me, that would be like a person getting upset at Santa Claus because he didn't bring them any presents on Christmas. Someone who believes in Santa would probably get mad about that. But I highly doubt that someone who doesn't believe in Santa would get mad or be offended. Just something to think about. Maybe there's a spiritual thing going on here after all. I mean, what is, what is getting you so upset about Jesus anyway? This is just how my mind operates. Stay with me, I will get back on track. Now, I believe that there is a spiritual battle taking place in our lives. I also believe that the devil uses marijuana as a tool of destruction to help him win his battle. Once again, the Bible is clear that in the last days people will be handed over to a reprobate mind. What is a reprobate mind? Could it be someone who believes that something is good when it is not? Maybe it is believing that evil things are good. Could it be ignoring the bad and evil things of this world to satisfy our selfish nature? Could it be sacrificing the lives of others to get what I want? So many lives are led to endless addictions from a young age. I have a hard time understanding that we don't see it. We just keep doing what satisfies our carnal nature. I think that we are just naturally born as selfish beings. However, not thinking about how our actions are affecting others is a very ignorant way to live our life. We must learn how to get away from that and set aside our selfish ambitions. What causes all of this? I believe that there's more going on here than our human eyes can understand. I love the Apostle Paul. What a great man. He was a man of great faith who kept things easy to understand. He talked about how the battle that humans face is not against flesh and blood but against the battle that humans face is not— oops, I just messed up. Let's start that again. He talked about how the battle that humans face is not against flesh and blood. Paul explained that the battle we face daily is actually against powers of darkness and spiritual forces of evil. Paul understood that we should die to the problems of our human flesh every single day. Paul, just like Jesus, wanted us to focus on our spiritual lives. After all, of the chaos ends in this world we will live forever in our spiritual body. The spirit man is what matters most. What is going on with your spirit man's health? How are you disciplining your spirit man? Do you choose to die to the desire of your flesh every day? I want you to ponder these questions as we consider the following information. So then, how does marijuana have anything to do with our spiritual life? To be fully— to fully understand that question, we must consider a few things. If we could really grasp what the Apostle Paul is telling us, we would not do anything, anything that would make us vulnerable to the spiritual world of darkness. Wouldn't you agree? Keep in mind that the Bible talks about how Satan is a roaring lion who roams around. He constantly seeks whom he can devour. It also talks about how the devil is the father of lies. His mission is to steal, kill, and destroy. What better way to manipulate us than to get us to understand in entertaining this What better way to manipulate us than to get us interested in entertaining the dark spiritual realm? I personally believe that there are spiritual doors. Those doors can either be good or they can be evil. If we follow Jesus, we will choose to walk through doors of righteousness, and we will be protected by the power of God. However, on the contrary, I believe that if we are willingly walking through a door of wickedness, we are easily allowing the devil to begin to work on our minds and our lives. Consider this: what are the ways that the devil can manipulate people who use substances? You don't have to think too hard to find things that can go wrong as a result of using drugs. People tend to turn to weed because they say it helps them relax, correct? Are you really relaxed though? Does the drug actually heal you, or does it just give you a false reality while the high is in full effect? When the high wears off, you are right where you left off. All right, I believe that you will not truly be free of your problem until you allow God to help you. When you are using substances, I believe that you are giving the devil permission to begin his journey in your life. You are willingly asking and giving the devil permission to steal, kill, and destroy you. If you give an inch, he will take a mile. He will take you further than you ever wanted to go. All right, so I'm gonna stop right there, okay? But basically what this chapter gets into is the demonic history behind marijuana, okay? Um, ancient folks all used marijuana as a way to communicate with the dead, um, and many other things, okay? Spiritual, spiritual rituals and things, okay? And the Bible speaks clearly against those things. So if it was linked to those things back then and used for those things, why are we acting like it's not now, okay? So, um, I interviewed some people and I have some people that wrote their story in regards to it, um, in my book. So I would recommend checking that out if you're interested in that subject. And that's just one of many subjects, guys. But again, I wanted to invite you to come on out to the symposium on the 5th and, uh, 5th of June, and come on out and see the film, guys.
