In this presentation, Jason Wasser, LMFT, explains Neuro-Emotional Technique (NET), a clinically researched mind‑body stress‑reduction protocol originally created by chiropractor Dr. Scott Walker over 30 years ago. Walker observed that many clients with injuries repeatedly returned for treatment because the underlying emotional component of the injury remained unresolved. He identified “emotional snapshots” – specific memory‑linked emotional states that hold body‑stress patterns together – and developed methods to locate and reprocess these snapshots. By guiding clients through the original emotional experience in memory, the stress pattern can be cleared, leading to reduced chronic pain, improved health, and greater overall wellbeing.
