Foreign hello and welcome to the Evidence Based Chiropractor. I AM your host, Dr. Jeff Langme. Today's episode is one of my favorites. We are going to break down the 11 channels that you can and should be automating your chiropractic marketing to achieve the best results possible. So this is an episode you do not want to miss. But as I said at the top, today's episode we are going to focus on the 11 channels platforms, you can describe them a few different ways, but the 11 places where you can get out there with your unique message of health. As a chiropractor you can automate the processes and accelerate the the results. I know for so many docs out there it's challenging to keep up with content production. There's technical issues sometimes, often it can be what do I talk about, how do I create things? Then it also comes down to time, right? So all of that is super stressful. I want to Talk through the 11 primary channels. Additionally, if you want all of this automated for you, then we are in the middle of open enrollment with this, the Smart Chiropractor, where we do exactly what I'm going to talk about today completely for you. So if you want to automate your marketing, social media, email, all of the channels we'll talk about, then I'd encourage you to head over to the smart chiropractor.com it literally is the future of marketing. Fully automated, research based, evidence informed and it just plain works. So, so let's break down why it works and how it works with the 11 channels that are supremely important for you to be engaging on if you want to get gains online. So I'll take a step to the side before I dive into the 11 channels and just touch philosophically on things a little bit. I am not going to talk about discounting your services through Facebook ads because I think there's a better way to market your practice and there's a better way to reach out to your community and, and that's by establishing brand presence and that's by establishing expertise by consistent content production and promotion across multiple channels. So what does that mean? Well, let's start right at the top. Number one, Facebook. You need to be posting on Facebook multiple times per week. Our recommendation within the Smart Chiropractor is five times per week. So for all of our docs, we completely automate five Facebook postings for them each, each and every week. Facebook is a place where there are billions of people and it is a place where your practice can and should be Getting attention. Now, when you're trying to find a post at the beginning of every single day or middle of the day, we all know how that goes. Things fall off the end of the table and you are going to not be as consistent as you should be. The name of the game on Facebook is consistency with your posting. And the best strategy is a minimum of five times per week. Now let's dive into Instagram. Same story on Instagram. Instagram is a great place. We've done previous podcast episodes. I've done a bunch of videos on Instagram. It's an awesome place to connect with kind of micro influencers in your community. People who run and own gyms, health food stores, you know, really tagging them in those posts on Facebook and Instagram for that matter. But Instagram is a great place to DM people. But at the bare minimum, you definitely need to be posting on Instagram multiple times per week. It's the same story. The fastest growing demographic on Instagram is the exact demographic which is most likely to use chiropractic services. So it is a place where you definitely want to have your message out there. And our recommendation is the same. Posting at least five times per week to Instagram. That's channel number two. Channel number three is YouTube. YouTube is the search engine, right? There's Google and YouTube, essentially the same thing. People go to YouTube to search for content while Facebook and Instagram people are scrolling through, right? You're scrolling through. You're not going necessarily on Facebook to look for a chiropractor. It's important to be present and put out great information, whereas YouTube people are looking for answers to their questions. So my question to you is, are you putting out content that answers the people in your community questions? Right? So we recommend with YouTube at least one video per week. With, with the smart chiropractor, we give you a professionally produced video that you can post to your YouTube channel or page or. And I should say we give you a video script. So a lot of docs, again, it's like, I don't know what to say. I'm not sure what to do. We're going to give you all of that scripting with a smart chiropractor. But I highly recommend YouTube is a place where you want to be answering the questions of the people in your community. Because when they hop on YouTube and ask where what you know, what's the story with Kinesio taping? What's the story with Rock Tape? What's the story? How do I, you know, improve low Back pain in the next week. You want to be the person that comes up. There is no question about that. Channel number four, email marketing campaigns. You guys have heard me talk about this so much because it's so important and so many docs are missing out on it. Onboarding one time per week drip campaign for patient reactivations and, and an event sequence. Those are the three key email sequences that you need to have automated. And when I say automated, that means you enter the person's email address one time your patient and they get a sequence of emails without you having to do anything else other than that first action. That is the beauty of email automation. Your email list is the most valuable asset and commodity that you have in your practice. It is a list of people who already know, trust and like you. If you are not utilizing that to its maximum capability, you're missing out on a huge opportunity. Within the Smart Chiropractor, we automate all of that. We pre build out an onboarding sequence for your new patients. We have pre built out a one time per week drip sequence that goes forever and an event sequence that you can turn on or off for any of the special events that you have coming up. So that was channel number four with email. Channel number five, weekly patient handouts. I hate to see dusty old brochures in people's reception area that look like they were designed in 1962. It does not put your best foot forward as a provider. So weekly patient handouts, keep them fresh, keep them on topic. That's what we recommend. It's also what we do at the Smart chiropractor. We give you a new patient handout that you can utilize in your practice each and every week. That's congruent across all channels. Right? So that's the other key thing with this. As we go through all 11 channels, we have a monthly topic that ties in to the Facebook post, the Instagram posts, the YouTube videos, the email campaigns, the patient handles. So it is a unified message. That is what all of the most successful organizations in the world do. It's not scattershot. It's really their opportunity to lay out a strategic marketing strategy. That's what the Smart chiropractor is all about. Channel number five was the handouts. Channel number six is a monthly calendar of campaigns. So channel number six is arranging everything. What are you doing this month? Are there any special holidays? Understanding what's coming up a month in advance, super, super important to success number seven, monthly workshops. Workshops, in my opinion, can take place online or offline. You Might not want to have workshops or seminars in your practice. It might be difficult, but you definitely should be teaching online. Not just the videos, answering questions as we talked about earlier, but taking a 10, 15, 20, 30 minute opportunity to sit, talk, chat. The best way you can do that is online to be able to get reach. Probably your best result is to have people come into your practice. But that's challenging. That's up to you how you want to execute it. I'd recommend at least starting with a 30 minute workshop one time per month. You can promote it via your email list as we talked about. You can promote it via your Facebook page. I hope you can see all of this coming together with what we do at the smart chiropractor. Number eight is in office tv. So basically anytime in your reception area, we want to have fresh content up there each and every month tying to the monthly topic. So we provide that. That's also what we recommend for sure for for you to be able to strategically communicate your message. Channel number nine, Facebook messenger bots are absolutely huge. They don't have to impersonate, they shouldn't impersonate or try to be tricky or you know, is this a human? Is this not? No, it should be super clear. Hey, you know, I'm the helper at insert practice here in answering frequently asked questions. Setting up a Facebook messenger bot is very, very important because so many people are communicating through messenger right now. Being able to deliver, whether it be a PDF or a lead magnet. Direct somebody to your YouTube channel, let them know your hours of operation. Setting up and managing a Facebook messenger bot, super, super important to getting people aware of who you are and what you do in your practice and making things easy for them, which is what it's all about. Channel number 10 is counter signs and posters. Are you using your in office literal space, right. You know, posters on your walls, are they communicating the message that you'd like are there at all? You know, and signs as well. Are you directing people with what you would like them to do? And also the benefit, most importantly the benefits you can provide them. Channel number 11, referral cards and postcards. Making sure that you are letting people know, hey, we love taking care of people just like you. Do you happen to know anybody else that we could help? Referrals, making that a consistent part of the process. All of these things tie together. Those were 11 channels. That was a massive amount of information. That's probably a four hour talk in the last 10 minutes. But the bottom line is I want you to really analyze those 11 channels with yourself and your practice. I'm going to put a link in the Show Notes where you can download a PDF that showcases all 11 of these channels and breaks them down a little bit more than I have the time to do today. So please hop over to the show notes, grab the PDF that breaks down these 11 channels. But this is really where your practice can thrive. I hope you can see if you have a unified message that encompasses Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, email, printed handouts, monthly workshops, video messenger bots, signs and posters. You are going to have an unbelievable opportunity to build and grow your practice in a way that you can be proud of, in a way that makes sense, and in a way that many other large scale healthcare organizations have done. So this is not experimental whatsoever. This is the proven way to do it. Now you can pump money into ads and get some quote, unquote people coming in, leads, quote unquote Facebook leads coming in the door. I think there's a better way to market a practice and that's by being patient centric. It's obviously by doing always what's best in an ethical fashion. And it's also being research based. So within the Smart Chiropractor, all of our content is taken from what's out there and what are people looking for in your community? What are the answers that they're looking for, you know, what are the challenges that they're dealing with and how can you position yourself as the solution for those issues? Now that is what it's all about. These are the 11 channels that we are super psyched on. We're building a ton of automations going into 2020, so there is going to be a lot more coming with the Smart Chiropractor right now. Again we are an open enrollment so you can head over to the smart chiropractor.com if you want to get on board. Right now you will lock in your price. So as we continue to add stuff, you will stay at the same price. But we are excited at what we've been able to do so far. We've worked with hundreds of docs, so sent tens of thousands if probably hundreds of thousands of emails for docs at this point in time and we have seen serious results. 4, 5, 6 new patient reactivations through email, untold new people coming into the practice by being out there consistently online and again, in my opinion, doing it in a way you can be proud of. That's what it's all about. If you want to pick up those 11 channels and break them down further, head over to the Show Notes, pick up that PDF. If you have any questions about the smart Chiropractor or any of these 11 channels specifically, just shoot me an email. Jeff the evidencebasedchiropractor.com I'm happy to break down on a full episode any single one of these channels. You just let me know what would be most valuable for you and we will make it happen.
