Hello and welcome. I'm Dr. Jeff Langmaid here with Dr. Jason Deutsch and we are talking about how and why telehealth is critical to keep your practice alive. On today's video we're going to talk about the three simple steps that you can use to get started in telehealth in less than one hour, even if you're not tech savvy. And step number one is all about the technology. Jason, what have we seen and learned so far?
There's been a lot of confusion as to where to get started, how to get started, what to do. Is the sky falling, is it not? Do I stay open? Do I close? What do I do? And we are here to, number one, keep you calm. And number two, help guide you through this crisis. And for many it is a severe crisis. So what we're talking about are the essential technologies you must have in in order to be able to adapt your services to whatever's going on in your community so that you can continue to generate revenue during this time. Whether you can stay open or closed, you need to have the right technology. The technology we have found we are open to feedback. We continue to do the researching while you keep doing what you're doing. And so far what we've come up with so far is that there is a technology called Doxy Me. We'll leave the link in our notes, in our comments. That is a free platform for you to be able to provide HIPAA compliant telehealth, telemedicine virtual practice services, call them what you want, so that you can provide value to people in your community, in fact around the world at this point. HIPAA compliant legal and generate revenue during this time.
Yeah, and if you are watching this, please pick up the guide. We put together a guide to help you get started. But ultimately, as Jason said, do is a free technology tool, no additional software needed. It is simple and easy to get started with. We've done a walkthrough where it took us less than two minutes to get up and running on their platform. So again, three simple steps to get started in less than one hour with telehealth. One is decide on that technology. Doxy Me is what we love. Maybe you have an EHR integration that does it. That's great too. Step number two is decide what services you're going to provide. We're going to talk about that in our next video. And, and then step number three is how do you promote and get your schedule filled? That's coming up in just a couple days time. But Step number one starts with getting your technology straight. Doxy Me is a great tool to do so. We'd encourage you to check it out, download it and be sure to pick up the guide attached to this email in this video because that's going to help you get started in less than an hour. And Jason, we all know how critical it is for docs to start getting telehealth built into their practice.
And today we've been doing this, you know, all week since we heard of what's going on. Ironically, we've been working with some other telehealth companies up until this. Not anticipating this, but you know, who knew it is essential. Listen, whatever your viewpoint is on whether you're open or closed or what's going on, adding this element is an insurance policy for your revenue. So take it seriously. Nobody in the world knows what's going to happen next. What we do know is that you've got bills that are going to need to continue to be paid and you're going to need to continue to generate revenue. You have information that is valuable for people in your community, in your practice and around the world to know and you just simply need to, even if you're not tech savvy, follow our system so that you can get up and running quickly and let us do the guiding for you. We'll help navigate the technology, the services we recommend, even the technology for those services and and then how to start booking your appointments as soon as possible. Stay with the program.
