Fast forward a little bit. I am in college and my dad actually suffers a normal back injury, so to speak. Goes to see a chiropractor. Has a fantastic result. Next time I'm up at Christmas break says you got to meet this guy. He happened to be the alumni president for Palmer College of Chiropractic and put me on the phone immediately. Have you ever thought of a career in chiropractic? I said no I haven't and that's what started it. The more I learned about chiropractic, the more it became clear it aligned with what I already believed to be true in healthcare but didn't have a name for. Fast forward a little bit farther. Kind come to find out my great grandfather, I didn't know this at the time, was a chiropractor and had graduated from Palmer in the 20s when BJ was still teaching. I have a whole bunch of artifacts and memorabilia from that time so there's a legacy there that took a little time to uncover.
