Hey, what's going on everybody? Dr. Jeff Langme, the evidence based chiropractor and I am here at the West Fargo Conference center for the 107th annual North Dakota Chiropractic association event. It is myself, Patrick Gentempo and Dr. Jay Greenstein. We are talking about how you can advance your practice in 2019 and beyond and a lot more fun topics. This is going to be a great weekend.
I've been pumped.
This is the first time I've ever been out to Fargo, so so far so good. So check out what the 107th annual North Dakota Chiropractic association seminar looks like.
Anybody familiar with this paper? This is an award winning paper that came out now nearly 10 years ago. Pretty big deal. And award winning in the Spine Journal is not a chiropractic journal, so to speak. It's an award winning paper talking to 100 chiropractors. Almost nobody in here knows about this. How the heck do you think the primary care doctors in your town know about it if we don't know about it ourselves? That's why it's important to learn about this. Because there is no way we can expect everybody else to know about it if we haven't been kept up on it ourselves. We are so safe and effective, it's crazy. There's almost no other profession on planet earth that could have a slide with this amount of diversity in symptoms or pathology and have it overwhelmingly positive.
Some maybe might help, might not help.
In literally dead zeros across the board in terms of that seems like it's a potential harm.
It's almost.
It's astounding when you start to look at the literature.
In my opinion scope differently. I believe that my job is not only to correct solo stations. I see it. But to prevent them so that they don't happen in the first place. The moral mandate for any noble profession is to make itself obsolete. What I want to do, I don't want to create chiropractic dependency in my patients. I want to create health freedom. I want them to take responsibility of their health and need me as little as possible. So I'm right there with you.
Yeah.
I think the best prevention is the appropriate treatment. If you deliver great care to your patients, most likely it shouldn't come back. Now there's chronic pain patients and that's.
A whole other story.
But I think the first step for us as chiropractors is to deliver the best and most appropriate treatment for our patients. And that's the first step in prevention.
Hey, what's going on. Dr. Jeff Langmaid here and I just wrapped up. Speaking at the 107th annual North Dakota Chiropractic Association Conference is a great opportunity to come to North Dakota, enjoy Fargo, and really meet a group of docs who have a great thing going here. There's probably more docs that I met practicing in integrated clinics than anywhere else I've ever been. On top of that, their utilization is very, very high. So I want to thank Chris, the entire board. This has been a fantastic weekend, a great group of docs. So check out next year's convention if you didn't have the opportunity to come to this one.
