A short, first-person YouTube review by Jeff Langmaid recommending the GoPro Hero 5 Black to chiropractors and beginner vloggers as a portable, dedicated camera for creating more video content. The presenter highlights portability (palm-sized, pocketable), a rear touchscreen and front status display, image stabilization, and the ability to shoot 4K footage and high-frame-rate slow motion (up to 120 fps). Practical notes: the camera does not include a micro memory card, batteries last around two hours (recommend spare batteries), and inexpensive accessory cases/housings and adapters make it easy to build a mobile vlogging kit. The video encourages viewers to start shooting video to grow their practice and invites comments/questions.

The GoPro Hero 5 Black. If you are a chiropractor, you absolutely know that video is imperative to growing your audience and growing your fan base. And I just picked up a GoPro to make sure that I can shoot more and more video as well. So I wanted to show you a little bit more about why I picked the GoPro, why what it does, what you need and how you can use it for yourself if you decide to put one on your wish list to make sure that you are distributing content and documenting the way you need to to grow your practice. So in an ideal world, I love to shoot video with this guy, my iPhone. But if you are like me, I constantly get you are out of storage like every time I'm ready to do something, which is terribly frustrating. So what I decided to do when I'm unable to have Paul and hang out with me and shoot super high quality pro video, I wanted to make sure that I could take my own video on the go. And if you look at how this is just unbelievably small, you can see it just fits literally in the palm of my hand. Earlier today I was at a farmer's market and I was able to shove this right in my pocket, walk around all day. It was super comfortable. I didn't even know it was there. And this actually shoots 4,4K footage up to 120 frames per second, which is totally, totally crazy. So again you can see how small it is and when you fire it up. One of the really great things about this GoPro specifically is it's got a huge monitor on the backside so you never have to guess as far as what's going on. Am I getting what I need to? You can review clips super easy and everything just with a touch of the back screen there. So it's awesome. On the front side there's another display that showcases exactly what's going on with your battery life, with your memory card and also what you are shooting in terms of how much time you have left. So it's just an unbelievable tool. But there are a few things that you definitely want to know when you pick one up and get up and running. Number one is that it does not come with a memory card. So you want to make sure that you pick up a micro memory card. So what I grabbed is this little Lexar guy here and this actually is to put in for USB port and then you put the micro card in right with it and you can just pull the files directly down onto your computer. Definitely want to be careful this is actually how small 32 gigabytes has gone down to, which is just mind blowing and incredible to me. But 32 gigabytes on this little guy that will film for literally hours. And you just slide it in right next to the battery there. Also, you might want to grab more than one of the batteries. So the battery was right next to it. The battery lasts around two hours. So I just picked up another battery set. It's on its way right now. I don't have it with me here, but the batteries last about two hours. So if you're thinking that you're going to use it long term or you can't get near your computer to recharge, then certainly picking up a couple extra batteries, like 20 bucks for a couple is a great investment. It also comes with this housing. So this housing obviously can kind of sit it into a tripod or there's different adapters you can get to make sure that you can utilize it in a variety of ways. One really, really great thing that I touched on a little bit, but this will actually shoot at 120 frames per second, which then you can do slow motion just like this. And it's really going to look awesome. It's going to look smooth and it's going to look clear. These GoPros also have image stabilization. So if you're walking around, it's not going to be perfect, but it's going to give you, as long as you have kind of a steady hand or certainly if you're using something that's a tripod or a monopod, it's going to give you a really, really great look. One other thing that I picked up with it was I picked up one of these guys, which is just about 10 bucks. And it's basically a case where I can house all of my GoPro stuff inside of it. It slides right in. It's easy to take with me. I can zip it up. And then just like that, I pretty much have a mobile video blogging rig ready to go. So if you have been using your iPhone, number one, if you haven't been shooting video, you just need to get. Video is favored on Facebook. YouTube is blowing up like crazy and making sure that you get your message out there to as many people as possible through video. It's just the bar has been set. You need to get there. You need to just get over it. Sometimes it's a little bit intimidating to get an on camera, but just get over it and get started. IPhones are unbelievably awesome to shoot with. But again, if you are like me, you're constantly up against storage issues, and if that is the case for you, or you just want a dedicated camera again that shoots at 4K, has unbelievable technology built into it, and does a variety of things that the iPhone camera does not do, then you might want to look at putting a GoPro Hero 5 Black on your wish list. If you've had a GoPro in the past, there's tons of upgrades in this as well. I'm happy to answer any questions about my experience with this GoPro, so leave me a comment down below. Let me know what you think. If you're shooting video yet. If not, what's holding you back from shooting video? I would love to know so we can talk about it, address it, and really get your practice to the next level. So until then, I will be shooting on my GoPro Hero 5 Black.
