Dr. Jeff Langmaid reviews a survey of 203 chiropractors in the Netherlands and Belgium on how their beliefs shape guideline adherence for low back pain. Surprisingly, clinicians with strong biomedical views ordered more imaging and followed return-to-work guidelines at 80%, versus 50% for those with biopsychosocial views. Only 11% of high-biomedical chiropractors were familiar with guidelines.
