Sam. Hey, what's going on? I am here at Rock Stock 2018 in Miami beach and we are kicking off day one. The theme this year is Resist Resilience. The lineup looks awesome. I'm going to be having interviews all weekend long with the speakers. We're going to be covering a lot of the happenings and goings on here at Rock Stock 2018, Miami Beach, Florida. You can see everything has just begun. We're about to hop up and start the session. So it's going to be a great weekend. Hey, guys, Steve Capel here with Rock Tape. I wanted to share with you some of the things that we're doing here at Rock Stock 2018 Miami. This year our focus is on resilience. And what does that really mean? We're trying to give tools and techniques for our movement specialists, our FMT rock docs of how to build resilience amongst themselves as well as the community that they serve. And what resilience really means, at least to me, is how do we address the obstacles that we're facing, and that might be the obstacles that we face personally to the obstacles that our patients or clients are dealing with. How to improve your biological, psychological and social resilience and see if that can help with pain presentations, movement dysfunction, as well as performance. So super excited. The weekend just, just, just got started today, but it's going to be just an awesome weekend. Hope to see you next year at rock stock 2019. I think this weekend it's all about the why people know how to do things. People want to know where to do things, when to do things, but people really don't truly know why they do things. So we're hoping this weekend we're really driving home this concept of why. So through resilience and through teaching, touching and getting people to move, they can learn why they're doing things. When you can do why, you can make it meaningful. So the why is super important to get the best patient or client outcomes. See you guys next time. Hey, what's going on? We are closing down day one of Rock Stock 2018. It's been a fantastic day. The theme, as you've heard for this weekend, is resiliency. And really my big takeaways for today were when you're going through a rehab program with a patient, understanding that there's a biomechanical component, a psychosocial component, and really taking a total patient centric approach to care is key. There is not a linear equation to one injury equals one treatment technique. But understanding where a patient is and where they want to get to enables you to utilize the tools in your tool set to get there. That is what I picked up and learned today at day one rock stock 2018. Stay tuned for day two. We're going to have a great day and we're about to have some fun as well.
