Short YouTube video by Jeff Langmaid advising content creators—especially practices and product owners—to use video. He stresses basic production quality (good audio and lighting) and emphasizes using B-roll footage to add emotion and context; gives example B-roll choices for high-action (fast-paced city), emotive (shop/upshop?), and fun/enjoyment (outdoors with family), and ends with a viewer call-to-action to comment.

Hey guys. Jeff Langmaid Evidence based Chiropractor and today I wanted to talk about video. If you are producing content, if you have a practice, if you have a product, you need to be doing video. But if you have already started, then I want to talk about a few advanced things. Obviously you want to make sure your audio is good with a microphone. You want to make sure that you have your lights kicking so everybody can see what you are talking about. But perhaps most importantly is B roll footage. B roll footage is supplemental footage that adds emotion or context to everything that you are shooting. So if you want high action, you might choose to use B roll that is more fast paced such as in a city. If you want more emotive, more emotion and really tugging at the heartstrings, you might go to a up shop or if you're looking for enjoyment and fun, you might go outdoors with family and friends. But you want to make sure as you produce content that you keep your videos engaging, you keep them educational and you keep them entertaining. And there is no better way to do that after you get your basics down than than by using B roll footage. Hope you enjoyed it. Comment below with your favorite piece of B roll from this video.
