Jeff Langmaid argues chiropractors should stop marketing to everyone and instead target narrow segments. A pediatrics practice and a CrossFit clinic need completely different messages. The tighter you define your audience, the stronger your engagement.

Is all about who your audience is and how you want to help them. An easy example for this that's so elementary would be, you know, you're not going to talk about pediatrics to necessarily a geriatric community, but that sort of segmentation can go really, really deep. So you can talk specifically to a CrossFit athlete slightly different than a weekend warrior in baseball, and you can dive into different topics and different content points that are infinite in your community. The higher that you segment out things, the more linear you are with who you're speaking to. If you break it down to a single person practically and think of it that way, it will give you way better engagement because when you speak to everybody, technically you speak to nobody. So making sure that you're specific is important and that sometimes is challenging because it's just like you just want to talk in broad latitudes to start. That's what we're normally accustomed to doing. But getting super specific is really, really important.
