Jeff Langmaid (speaker) argues that video is the most cost-effective and impactful communication medium. He states that platform algorithms favor video, giving it greater organic reach compared with text; that video conveys emotion effectively; and that a single decent video can be efficiently repurposed into many other assets, improving marketing efficiency.

So in my opinion, and if you've seen me do like a webinar on this, you've seen me say this before, it's the single most cost effective and impactful way to communicate, right? Video is what every thing favors. So you can choose not to do video at your own peril, meaning everything else is going to be harder. Like video is favored in the algorithms of every channel that allows it. So it means more people see it like dollar for dollar, not literally 7% but like meaning if you post the same thing, it's text on Facebook or video, more people will typically see the video than the text for zero cost, like just a random regular post. So it's impactful. Also, it displays emotion and all of that fun stuff and as we talked about and went over, it enables you to do a whole bunch of other stuff a lot easier. And that is also what is so key. If you have a halfway decent video, you can bang out a ton of stuff from that, which is efficiency.
