Jeff Langmaid argues chiropractors undersell what they do. Research shows spinal adjustments affect the nervous system, reduce inflammation, improve mobility, and modulate pain, not just treat backs.

I like this study because I think it provides us a better way to talk about chiropractic care. For so long, I think we've oversimplified what we do or sometimes been misunderstood. Well, we only help backs and joints. We're only helping people with pain. And research like this starts to support— I would say adds to the literature showcasing, you know, what we do really provides input into the spine and nervous system. Of course, there are segmental changes, but the changes can also include things like pain modulation, mobility, functional ability, and potential shifts in inflammatory signaling.
