Love will trigger you. That's not a warning, it's a guarantee. Love is going to trigger you, and romantic relationships are the thing that will bring up all of your deepest, darkest things. It's just the way it goes. So what if when this happens we can understand that this is actually the spiritual purpose of relationships, that there's actually nothing wrong? And how can we use this as an opportunity to heal ourselves? Through the mirror of partnership, because there's nothing like romantic relationships to bring up everything that's hiding. You will get triggered. You will show up in ways that you'd rather not show up. You will not always be the best version of you, and vice versa. But we've been sold such a bill of goods about what relationships look like. Just check out the media or romantic comedies or Disney movies. All of this programming has been implemented into our subconscious along with whatever we witnessed as children in our homes. How were people relating? Were things swept under the rug? Were there screaming matches? Was there everything in between? All of those things are imprinted into our brains as our relational blueprint, and then we play it out with whoever gets close to us. It's just going to be mirrored back to us. So if you need some support and you're watching yourself in these patterns that you'd rather not have, I'm here to help, and I really get it, and you're not alone. So if you're feeling this, comment "pattern" and I'll reach out to you with next steps.
