So I'd say the most valuable things that I received with my time from Jess were the communication tools and skills that I could use to bring into my relationships. The other major kind of valuable thing I would say besides having those tools was also I gained a lot of personal insight into myself because I realized the, the most important thing through my work with her was the work that I could do on myself first and foremost.
For me, the most valuable thing that I learned from working with Jess is the ability to like help identify certain emotions and thoughts that like I previously didn't have the skills to allow myself to be able to do something like that. So overall, I achieved like a greater understanding of myself and my needs and my subconscious reasons for responding to certain things that I was now more aware of that then I could have more control over after working with Jess.
Yeah. And then the awesome thing was since we both did this individually, we were able to bring both of our perspectives and insights together, uh, and kind of meld them together, which I think was wonderful.
Yeah. So before I was working with Jess, I I had a certain personality type of mind that I would be very much like a people pleaser, um, where I, I didn't really have any too strong convictions, uh, toward myself or, or what I stood for as a person. It was sort of kind of dictated by what other people expected of me. I kind of lacked self, um, so much to an extreme that it was hurting me. And it wasn't until I, you know, worked with Jess, until I started to realize that and start taking the steps to start putting myself first more and recognizing, you know, crossing the fine line between sacrificing too much to help my— to help other people, whereas I need to focus more on myself. And so that's what I learned.
Before Jess, I was in a definitely a very emotionally difficult spot. I had done therapy in the past, but I hadn't really made any true kind of deeper insights into what made me the way I was. What, what, what were those kind of like key components and old wiring? So I was very much stuck in certain cycles and patterns of behavior, and I was honestly in a very emotionally difficult spot where it seemed like a very difficult mountain to climb at the time. And Jess just gave me, uh, faith and and support and the ability to like really, um, find a way to start climbing like a very powerful journey together. We were able to create together from this was a strong sense of safety. I think that was a really personally big thing for us, um, was establishing safety in the relationship. Um, and we were able to create very open, honest, genuine communication, um, which we were able to shift, um, and have deeper and insightful emotional conversations, I would say. And we were able just to create a very soft, happy sense of easy love.
Yeah, no, I completely agree with, with everything he said, especially, um, like a major growth in our communication together.
Yeah.
Um, being able to identify in ourselves if there's a problem that arises and being able to effectively communicate that, um, before it snowballs into something uncontrollable. We're able to really put out fires like immediately and comfortably and quickly, um, and we just endlessly support each other.
Yeah, an endless amount of support.
I would recommend working with Jess in a heartbeat, um, and if you're unsure, I recommend just talking to her during one of her consultations just to glean more information and see what she's like. I think she's so friendly. I think she's so understanding. She's very compassionate to her core, and she'll genuinely care about helping you and being very thorough with, with seeing it too, that you, you work on yourself just as much as you guys work together on yourself during sessions. So she's just a really good friend to have and a really good, like, shoulder to lean on, especially when things may seem really hard and tough, so she'll always be there for you.
