Come up, come up, come up. Hands on the hips. Let's get all around the house going. Let's get all around the house going. Y' all, pick it up now. Pick it up. The standout is positive. It allows someone to speak what's best on their mind when it's best for them to do it, not just because it's being demanded or expected at that moment. When we communicate, team, we want to think about travel. We always want to create a round trip. When you create a round trip with communication, you're raising the level of communication and you step into ethics of communication. When you create a round trip ticket, if you create a one way ticket, meaning only you get to fly one way and be let off, the other side is not reciprocated. So you get back on the plane and come back home. The start of your job or the best part of what you guys do is not necessarily when the wrecking crew comes and the demolition crew and the plumbers and all of that stuff. It's when you accept that first pull it back to back so you can't see what they're changing. What was the purpose of that exercise? Yes. And there's a purpose in front of that too. So the moral of the story is change is actually very difficult. It always has been, always will be.
That if I'm expecting something from you, I need to realize what I'm expecting from you. It may be more, my expectations may be more than what you can handle at the time. At that time.
Right.
And then the person that I'm asking, that person needs to maybe raise their game and be able to not come at it as a no.
Perfect.
Bring it up a little.
Extremely well said. And two and two. What's your takeaway?
What you said about don't focus on the scores, focus on the behavior.
Yes. Love that. One and one and one.
I really appreciate it because those geese, they just know. They're so attentive to what's going on within their flock that they know what's going on and step in instead of waiting to be told to come and help me.
And so do we.
If we get still and listen for our business. We appreciate the way Lisa and Jesse prepare for our event. They hit on all points that we ask them to hit on and drive their points home and leave us the ability to leave here feeling good and better about ourselves and give us the path to improve upon our everyday life moving forward.
It was so much fun engaging and interacting with our peers and then learning how better to communicate and how to set aside time for one another and treat each other with kindness. Being positive and reaching above the bar to achieve what we all want to achieve together in this stressful business.
