When should we live that life? Tomorrow, Next week?
Or now?
When? I didn't hear you. When she would live that life? Would you tell our graduates when they should live that life? Why are you playing with me? We got work to do here. We want them to do it. When? Thank you. I do what I do to help others live the life that they deserve and desire. And the single thing that happens in that process is we get to empower and inspire others to live their highest vision. The conversation starts with this. Creating your life by design. Why don't we live our life by design? Starting today, your best gifts and talents are wrapped in your purpose from day one. At the end of the day, it's all about purpose. You are unique in this audience. Not going to prove that to you.
Whether you know it or not. His honesty, his sophistication, his way of coming around things. He's very direct and he hits you in a hard way, but it's very gentle. I feel like Superman every time I leave one of his conversations.
I value being able to make an impact in the lives of others in a way that I don't see myself as leading or directing them wholly and solely. I see myself as a mere catalyst to the difference that they can make in their lives, as a difference maker. On one and one. That right there is it. And that's what we're going to do with the color code. It's not just an exercise. It's really important. You're going to just a little tiny skid, and the skid is going to be just a demonstration of the four color codes in terms of behavior.
We are both certified in doing the color code, which is the personality science, which codes the team, because most people don't know themselves, let alone others. So when you get self, you get others. When you start speaking their language, you can find out that you'll get a lot more in life.
I thought Jesse was wonderful. He came on as being there for me. Me, the person that's in the audience, not about what he has done. I walked away today with the greatest smile. And in my heart I knew some of the things that I've done in life. And now he's shown me how to go forward in doing things.
You want somebody to come into your company and tell you the truth. And I think what Jess does really well is that he listens. I think that's a very important thing. He listens to senior management, but he also listens to the employees and he listens to the line managers. And he's able to bring all of that together and create an outline of how you're going to achieve the success you're trying to achieve.
Gamify it, create a flow. You guys like that. Don't make me come over to your house and show you how to do this, because I will do it. Ask for what you want and your life will change dramatically. Make connections, build relationships and act. And I then I think you have to want to make that connection with others. It doesn't have to be a long term connection. It could be someone in the grocery store or someone at the mailbox or someone on a walk or whatever.
They don't know how to do it.
Most people don't. Most people feel sort of shut down.
You know, Jesse has the ability to connect with the audience. So whether it's an entry level supervisor to the CEO, he connects with everybody within the audience. The passion, you know, he brings inspiration, he brings humor, just everything. He just has a great ability to connect with people.
Leadership and effective communication. And the secret of real things, leadership really is, in a word, influence. And the dream of true leadership is broken down into what I show the dream sequence as. Dedication, responsibility, education, attitude, and then motivation. Our abilities to motivate people to live the dream. When it comes to displaying leadership in all directions, that's what that's all about.
I can see any company utilizing just talk. I've gained so much. There's not a time that we meet or we have a session over the telephone that I don't have good takeaways from it. And I can see any company could utilize what he brings to the table. He has a talent like incredible talent.
You are what matters most in this room. You are the link inside of any good company, inside of any good family.
It's a chain, it's a connection.
You represent that link. Yes, men, you do fine. But women, you're it.
If I had a chance to say to Jesse, I'd say thank you for bringing some energy to the last day of our conference. And we really appreciate your ability to get everybody involved in this course.
This was really a magical and poignant experience for me. I actually want to cry, but I won't. And really what it does is it affirms the fact that this destiny, the serendipity, the things that Jesse talked about are in fact real. And they touch me deeply.
I'm speechless.
Which is kind of rare with Jess and Lis. We got, we got better selves out of ourselves from the Jess talk session. And I really appreciate that you guys came and really made the difference for those that needed it and for those that didn't. They didn't know they needed it, and they got it. So thank you. My biggest takeaway was never accept a call. Strike three. Because as long as you're at that, there is an opportunity to win.
I want you to walk away with the inner power of knowing that you can figure it out. We want people to know that it is truly an inside job, that many of us live our lives being affected by what happens on the outside. And it is not about what happens on the outside. It's an inside job. I want you to do the work to get what you want in life. Team. It's about doing the work. And the work starts when, When? Because the time is.
