I learned a lot of communication skills, probably a lot of cross team, what other people are doing, different ways that you can approach, different personalities and things of that nature.
A lot of.
A lot of really good life skills as well. Things that I could take beyond just this place and move forwards and hopefully grow and adapt into the future.
Think about that. You want to go to work, you want to be there, you want to play your role and help others at being part of genius affections. And you have to constantly remind yourself of that. Does that get you in the mood?
Running a company and keeping everybody going in the right direction is really hard work. And understanding your culture and where it is today and where you want it to go tomorrow is vital to making sure that your company is going to stay vibrant into the future. And having Jess and Lisa come into your organization to help you figure that out and drive down into the minds and hearts of your people will pay dividends forever.
We're more like a family. Like we care about each other's feelings and learning more about each other, the three different teams.
And how do we do what we need to do in those individual teams and how do we do that in a concerted effort that we're all one team?
Jesse had a great way of engaging the group. He has high energy and he promotes people to speak collaboratively. So I think it was a great use of the team's time to talk across the different departments and open some areas that we need to work on.
Ask the team to lift and find a way to lift. When you read individually and then collectively, the other thing you can do is you can move the locomotive. It moves.
There were things that we needed to work on that were very similar. So it brought some things to the forefront that maybe people have been thinking for a while, but maybe were afraid to say or didn't have time to say or along those lines. So it gave us some great things to work on and some great takeaways. And our concrete execution plan was having a more trouble trainings and seminars like this one.
Oh, wait, I heard that. What was the one you said before?
Having more training and seminars.
No, you didn't say that loud enough. Which means we may not have the answer right now, but we need to get it. And what is the answer to correct that, to tie it together.
And it's what's best for all. So it makes it actually easier because all of us working together benefits each group.
So my biggest takeaway was just trying to understand and learn that everybody has a different personality and a different way that they understand and they operate on a daily basis and understanding the tools that I have at my disposal to work with those different personalities and try and use the interpersonal skills and develop my own personal skills to better do that on a daily basis, I want.
To go from learning and trying to talk to people in their color to actually using their strengths in our team.
Ooh, that's pretty good.
Nice.
When it gets measured, gets done.
Yes, that's good.
Everyone matters in together we create success.
Absolutely. Well said. Company culture is influenced by individuals, but it's best when the whole team stick on the same goal.
So just learning the different areas that improvement to that high performance culture, the company culture is the foundation for a healthy environment. Working environment, like there's always something you can improve on and there's always work to do.
I learned that together we work that.
