The holidays hit different when you have ADHD. Let me explain. First off, belated Happy New Year! I know I'm a bit late, but honestly, that's kind of the point of this video. Look, the holiday period can be rough. You're completely out of your routines, family dynamics, your brain is getting slammed with dopamine from all the food, the drinks, the sugar, and if we're being honest, probably too much alcohol too. But here's the thing, it can also be one of the most beautiful times of the year if you actually let yourself be present. And for years, I couldn't do that. Even on vacation, even during the holidays, I stayed stuck in survival mode, fight or flight, always feeling like I should be doing something, never actually resting. But this year, I fully checked out for 2 weeks, like actually zoomed out. I spent real time with family, went away for a week, and I gave myself the space to just be there. And I got so much clarity. Things that I was overthinking for months suddenly became easy choices. That moment of clarity only happened because I made the space for it. So if you haven't done your reflection yet, don't stress. I've got a free reflection template for you. Comment "reflection" and I will share it with you. It's the same one I used myself. I'm honestly so hyped for this year, got some really exciting things in the works, but more on that soon. Take the time, reflect, you might honestly surprise yourself.
