There are two sides to mastering your weight. The first one is action. You need to be able to take the actions that are going to get you to your goal weight and allow you to stay there. But it's the second one that most people never do. And I think this is a primary reason why most people struggle to get the results they want. And what that is is acceptance. From day one of your weight mastery journey, you want to start developing acceptance for who you are. Because in this society with the brains that we have, it is so easy to feel like we're not good enough. We compare ourselves to other people and we feel discouraged. And it is that feeling that usually leads to sabotaging the results that you truly, truly could get. So from day one you want to start developing acceptance for who you are, overweight or not, and loving your body and using that acceptance to propel you towards the results that you truly want to achieve.
